Loli and Shota Rangers was honestly far better than I expected.
Granted I started with pretty low expectations
/m/, you don't have any Gokus hiding around here, do you?

We've got this pocket monkey named Go, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
Hey guys, if in the next game of the series "Super Robot Wars" added Mars as a place of action, which mek anime could be moved to the Red Planet?
And as if it was possible to build a relationship between the "Martians" and the Earth?
Nadesico would eventually wind up there. SPT Layzner gets its start there.
I'd say ZoE, but that's a whole other rights rigamarole.
Frozen Teardrop if they REALLY wanted to fuck with the fans...
New mech? No colors yet? How would you color this?
What does Gundam need to do to make a new Series/Timeline fresh and appealing, what was the last time we had a fresh feeling series?

So I'm pretty new to tokusatsu and had only seen a couple of kamen rider and sentai series. Recently I finished Ultraman X, and I was quite impressed with the actual special effects of it. They were much better than I've seen from Toei.
And now I actually want to watch some toku for what it is, special effects. So I'm wondering what are some of the best tokusatsu productions in terms of the special effects. I'm interested both movies and tv series.
If you like the action direction in Ultraman X, you should look out for stuff directed by Koichi Sakamoto
(yes, he even did power rangers)
He's one director that makes good use of both traditional and digital techniques, avoiding CGI-fests.
There's also the 90s movies by Keita Amemiya
>Kamen Rider ZO
>Kamen Rider J
>Mechanical Violator Hakaider
These movies are like the last bastion of traditional effects in tokusatsu. They still used stuff like puppetry and stop-motion. T2, Robocop, etc. tier of practical effects.
The first two seasons and the fourth season of Garo have some great suits and practical work in them, in addition to actually good looking CG.
M I K U M O
I'm getting this feeling that I'm supposed to be thinking Mylene is annoying for questioning Basara and should think of Basara as amazing when really I'm just sympathizing with Mylene because she's actually trying to actually do things for the band and finding Basara annoying as hell
What the fuck, she's 14? I thought she was like 17 in anime years or something
Also, I'm pretty sure Mylene is my waifu
Have anyone here seen Wonder Beat Scramble?
I have seen what is subbed.
It's pretty fun so far.
The twist seems a little too obvious but it might be well done enough.
Also what is Kanuka doing in this show.
If instead of the G Portent Shia built the Gundam Artemie, would Try have been saved?
We would have gotten an Artemie kit too. And a GN Archer reprint.
Plus the Artemie just looks better
Ep 2 is out.
I don't usually make threads but the last one was autosaging on page 9.
So, Seelen the Hunting World is considered a Dynamic Pro series now according to the main site (www.mazin-go.com)
For your information, the manga is being done by Soga Atsushi, who did the manga for Turn A Gundam.
