Remember when /m/ wasn't Rangerboard? Did /m/ just stop being about Japanese stuff in the last month while I wasn't looking?
Just like most of the board that mod has no idea was Tokusatsu "really" is. It is a lot more than just spandex and rubber suits.
Most of the stuff discussed on here is henshin hero.
You'll see off-topic images on EVERY board. Banning someone just for that is ridiculous.
Here's an idea:
Why don't we get a mod in 2015 to define toku and what should be on /m/ instead of arguing over what was said two years ago?
Well at least we both agree that we'd want the past with minimal shitposting. The only thing we don't agree on is if everything was the jews/toku's fault
I really doubt VVV/Greco/assorted mech themed shitposting was the tokufag's faults. The ninninger release thread, the post ToQger threads, and the grimdark power rangers movie thread? Yeah that's definitely on the toku side of shitposting
Thing is that post was an overreaction to the Supah Ninjas shitstorm. It was was later changed that Power Rangers could remain on /m/.
>that long 0079 arc that was about literally nothing but collecting salt
It's one episode and there's also, you know, that plot about Sayla and Char that's actually the focus of the episode. Actually watch the shows you talk about, chucklefuck.
>Did /m/ just stop being about Japanese stuff in the last month while I wasn't looking?
Also, your whole argument is based on the notion that mods are perfect and can make no mistakes. There are PR threads on /m/, so by your logic, PR is /m/.

>AM (After Moot) 0001
>still thinking we're on /m/
Japanese culture can't influence other cultures?
They've always been serious, since more or less the beginning of /m/. I don't think we've ever had a mod step in and say something either way, but never underestimate the ability of weebs to conjure titanic levels of buttmad.
We've had IRL plane threads in the past, it's not like this is anything new. Same with western stuff; it's basically been here forever. It's why we've been historically bros with /tg/ and /co/.
The Passion of the Moot just breathed new life into the shitposters, I guess.
Yes, that's my point, that his logic is flawed.
/m/ biggest issue are sentaifags and people who want to discuss shit that isnt remotely /m/, discussions here still require some sort of reading comprehension and some ability to argue.
/a/ is just waifufags that dont even try to have an ounce of criteria.
Sure, /m/ is far from perfect, but it's way better than /a/
I've been on /m/ since 2007 and there have always been toku threads. Much like there have always been people whining about toku.
But at least the tokufags don't pretend this is a new phenomenon.
sentaifag can be a shitposter, but not all shitposters are sentaifags
There's a basic lack of respect due to the anonymous nature of the board. Don't see that changing anytime soon.
>/a/ is just waifufags that dont even try to have an ounce of criteria.
So either you've never been on /a/, or you get mad at the sight of any OP with a girl in it. I could talk bullshit about /m/ just being a Gundam circlejerk by people who've never watched Gundam, but that wouldn't make it true.
