That's boring. What about
ITT: "Villians" who did nothing. Nothing at all.
With villains like these, who needs heroes?
Aoba was the real villian of BC
In the first series, it's arguable until Idun shows up.
He was the hero SEED needed but not the one it delivered.
He was a creep (so say the tumblrcunts). And if there's one thing society hates more than anything else, it's a creep.
However, it's exactly because the world forsakes him that he can always be at his best.
Only a villain of the highest caliber could create art such as his.
So dude flips his shit when the coordinators whip out a death lazor that wipes out a massive chunk of their fleet and dumbfuck captain stands there tarding on like durp hurp.
He tells her BITCH THEY CAN AND ARE GOING TO DESTROY THE EARTH and she's all like so what you're a meanie i'm going to kill us both.
No seriously. That is exactly what happened.
Nuking the Wolf's Dragoons was seriously the best thing to ever happen
They couldn't even comprehend what was wrong about their actions, and even Idun's hatred was xerox'd from humanity. So by their own standards (if you could call them that) they did absolutely nothing wrong, and were actually trying to help humans out.
>Every thread on /m/, regardless of topic, will eventually be derailed into a Gundam conversation
>Still haven't watched Gundam
In the original, he was inarguably the villain.
But can you blame his actions? He was just as much a victim as the Japanese.
How was he supposed to beat OP Shin Getter? Keep in mind Shin Getter is already OP.
You'd have a good point if he wanted to destroy their death laser and not point it at their homes.
I mean, if they were successful, all that would happen is that the remaining Coordinators would fire off their death-beam.
The worst part is that if they took out the death beam, they could force ZAFT to surrender with the rest of their nukes
>Instead of just telling them to shut up he goes on a killing spree and cannot be stopped unless killed
I guess to be fair he was just doing his job cutting down inferior species.
>goes on a killing spree
He's an animal. An animal we woke up and, from the radiation scars on his body, hurt and mutated him.
He's not doing something wrong in the sense that he is conciously destroying us out of malice. He's just lashing out in pain and animal instinct.
Characters like that frustrate me because I love them but then they don't win.
>is so madly in love with a girl his ultimate piece of art is a sculpture of her likeness.
no, creepy is when you cut off your ear and give it to a girl, asking her to marry you.
"He was not an evil man". Toru Furuya said so himself at Animazement 2014.
He did nothing, really.
Just being pushed into a military commander rank because of his family, fucking some blonde chick then getting killed by Char like a little bitch just because Char is a petty revenger.
>One of an artificially created slave race destined to become nothing more than to be a disposable pilot for some pie-in-the-sky plan to end all war.
>Decides to screw destiny and take his fate into his own hands
>Even goes as far as to spare the boy who inspired him and give him a chance to become Gundam
Aeolia and Celestial Being were the true villains
>He would have created an proper independent Nation among the Sides.
>It would have prevented the rise of Cosmo Babylonia, it would have been a buffer against the Jupiter Empire and it could have Prevented the Zanscare Empire to rise in side 2
Zabi Pricess & Banana ruined everything
