As the title says, post one U.C. character that had it comming and got killed.
Post another one that didn't but got tominoed anyways.
Fucking pic related, damn satisfying when he got it too.
Astonaige man, shit, part of the reason as to why I hate CCA
Not deserved:Lalah. They made her only to make Char vs Amuro rivalry more personal.
Astronage didn't deserve it.
Loni Garvey didn't deserve her Fukuisation
Mineva (she didn't got Tominoed, but still)
All the TItans
Melanie Hue Carbine and Vist family (with Mineva and Banagher)
>Haman didn't deserved it
>but Lalah did
>not liking the cutest brown girl ever drawn
If we had Gaia Gear series, we could argue about Everly being better or worse than any other brown UC Girl - Loni, Lalah, Ilia, Shakti, Annamarie from F91 (if F91 was series, not a movie)
Didn't deserve it:
Emma, Astonaige, Daguza Mackle, Bernie
I think you could make a case for:
Ryu, Matilda-san, Sleggar, Dozle, Cima Garahau
Had it coming:
Kycilia, Gihren, Scirocco, Reccoa, Bask Om,
I dont have a lot of hate for Degwin, especially the way his son fucked him over.
Garma was just a casualty of Char, so I definitely don't hate him.
Also, on an unrelated note, the best mobile suit pilot that passes through here occasionally (you know who I mean), got a raw deal.
I think Jerid should have at least survived or something, he was like if you put Joey from Yugioh into Gundam. Shit sucks, man.
>Also, on an unrelated note, the best mobile suit pilot that passes through here occasionally (you know who I mean), got a raw deal.
But Yazan is alive and lived happily ever after.
Degwin deserved it for what he did to Deikum
Gihren for being a patricidal asshole, and then Kycilia for being a parricidal, fucking zabi's man, if Mineva had had any zabi siblings in her generation, someone would have probably been backstabbed, sure seems like it runs in their DNA
That's often really the point: war kills people who don't deserve it, and sometimes leaves ones that do deserve to die alive. Rarely is there a greater meaning to it, and heroic sacrifice is often ineffectual.
truly the greatest loss of all U.C. characters
This x1000000, same with Astonaige. Their deaths were completly meaningless, unimpactful in regards to plot, and random. As if it was an afterthought.
>deserved but didn't die
Loosey doosey katejina.
>Their deaths were completly meaningless, unimpactful in regards to plot, and random. As if it was an afterthought.
Just like real deaths. I like how Tomino writes death. Not everything that happens has to "impact the plot."
I would agree, if it weren't characters who are part of the main cast. You would think characters who have larger "weight" in accordance with the plot would be given deaths with equal "weight". For instance with Emma, she got a final conversation with Kamille that really drove home the theme of war is hell. Having random weightless deaths is supposed to be for unessential characters, like that old goy with the dead kid from Victory gundam. The one who helped Uso out.
Scirocco did nothing wrong except follow his dreams, no matter the cost.
