Are Robo-Ninjas /m/?
And besides, why aren't you watching the show of the year?
>Are Robo-Ninjas /m/?
Yes, but they're not particularly smart.
it's fucking Trigger, what did you expect?
Their whole strategy is being condescending towards older traditions (80s ultraviolent OVAs in the present case) to hide the fact that their products are shit by themselves.
About time someone created a thread. I was gonna do it myself but I already have two going and I don't want to get greedy.
I feel trolled about the animation, but I think it's gonna be fun. It's like if Inferno Cop also had some rewarding moments.
>(80s ultraviolent OVAs in the present case)
What? It's an adaption of something made by Japanese guys parodying American guys trying to write anime-inspired stuff.
It'd be fine if they didn't take the Inferno Cop route.
They literally spent it all on Kill la Kill and the chuuni one that nobody here but me watched. Which is actually better animated than KlK and possibly a better show. Hopefully they do more like that.
>the face when a friend of mine bought 3 Ninja Slayer figma to scalp later because "trust me it's gonna explode!"
>he now has 3 useless shitty toys that don't even look like the anime
* This is being considered as fan art by KADOKAWA even if they have acquired the license and have an artist drawing the comics.
>American guys trying to write anime-inspired stuff.
You actually believe this? Yea, two American guys that don't actually exist.
The scenes that are actually animated are reminiscent of Obari's animation. Mostly pulling off a few cool poses and a lot of incoherent shots. It's pretty clear the animation is a big satirization of cheap anime productions with short bouts of "good" animation.
Gais, I found some proper subs for this one.
Definitely better than that >>12460956.
Inferno Cop reminded me of one of those Adult Swim short series that I can't stand like Perfect Hair Forever or anything Aqua Teen after season 3 or so.
If you like it, that's fine, but I personally just find it boring and unfunny.
I think Trigger might be relying on ironic bad animation too much. It was fine in Inferno Cop because the whole thing was like that and they were just YouTube shorts, but here it doesn't mesh well with the parts that actually look normal.
