> Ok so we're sisters
> But am also a man
> and now you're pregnant with my kid
> and your kid is Devilman, which coincidentally you met in hell and fell in love with.
> BOOM we're a single hermaprhodite being.
> lets go fight God
Devilman Lady was such as fun ride.
Is there a sequel or something I can read next /m/?
Also Noir/NeoSilene got BTFO like 3 times, man that was great.
> Its always murder and rape with you, isnt it, Asuka?
Those tits look bad. Nagai usually draws better big tits.
Miki was hot as fuck. And she looked super modest on the school uniform
>Is there a sequel or something I can read next /m/?
There's Devilman Saga, an ongoing manga that was announced as the final chapter of Devilman. There are not translation available and no direct connection with Lady so far but knowing uncle Go, probably he'll leave it until the last arc
Devilman isn't /m/ but for some reason was always allowed here. I won't complain since it's good.
> a fat tiger
> most powerful lifeform
lel, but then he turned out to be
a part of Satan.
Personally I just couldn't get into Lady, I don't know why but I just never could despite the fact that I love Devilman classic.
This looks interesting though, never thought I'd see Nagai draw two (supposedly) dudes kissing. He gave Akira really plump feminine lips (for Nagai) in that spread too.
>He gave Akira really plump feminine lips (for Nagai) in that spread too.
I wonder if it was a shoujo throwback. Probably not even Nagai himself know what he's thinking most of the time
Its on bakabt anon.
It was fun to see how quickly Japan reacted to that scene. Well, AkiraxRyo has been the OTP since the 70s
I liked Jun as a character. She went through a lot of shit.
But the part that pissed me off was finding out that she was one half of Satan, because it destroyed everything about her character.
But then, I also think it's hilarious that it's actually Satan. The dude turned himself into two grills, just to throw Michael off track.
His plans seem really retarded when you think about it, but hey, it worked this time.
>Violence Jack is not a sequel to Devilman
>The latter half of the plot is about getting the other two parts of Devilman to fully form him
>Jack himself is literally Akira Fudo
>Before the actual reveal, they even hint at it with him being able to do shit like shrug off being run through at Kanto
>IT'S ALL A MEME! A MEME I TELL YOU!
Why are you in such denial about Devilman having a related work? If you wanna get technical, Devilman is a sequel to itself due to the cyclical nature of it.
Violence Jack features plotlines involving every character Nagai did up until that point. It's an all-star crossover that has nothing to do with the original works those characters are from. Violence Jack is never once referenced in Devilman Lady, which is the official sequel to Devilman. Eat shit.
>It's an all-star crossover that has nothing to do with the original works those characters are from
>A large portion of the plot is literally "WE NEED TO GET THE OTHER TWO PARTS OF DEVILMAN SO WE CAN BEAT SATAN"
>Yet again results in unpleasant happenings for Akira and forcing Lucifer to watch his friends suffer - which is literally his punishment that has been used for literally every instance of Devilman ever and was the main justification for any spin-off or tangent works
>But because Devilman Lady doesn't directly reference it, it can't be canon
I'm beginning to think you just have an unnecessary vitriol for one of the greatest manga works ever created.
Devilman Lady is a direct sequel to Devilman. Akira explains the events between Devilman and Devilman Lady. Violence Jack does not exist in that gap and has never been referenced in any Devilman work. Violence Jack does not exclusively deal with Devilman and features several non-canon plotlines based on other Nagai manga series. The only thing you can do is doublepost with reaction images and u mad tier responses because you're just shitposting. gg.
Nigga I posted once. More than one person thinks you're a jackass.
And by the way, the entire overarching plot of pretty much everything related to Devilman is it's a constant time-loop. Violence Jack in particular is a loop that takes place during a post-apocalypse.
Also, if other characters from other Nagai works appearing makes it non-canon, then how the fuck would canon for Cutie Honey work given he puts characters from all of his other works into it. Shit, even Devilman appears in it.
>Devilman Lady, which is the official sequel to Devilman.
I thought it was a reboot of Devilman. I never finished it though, did it really turn into a sequel after all the mitochondria mixed with green house gasses is what makes demons thing?
Go Nagai doesn't care about canon, because he's Japanese.
He's writing stories to entertain you. You're not supposed to analyze this shit and try to put everything into one timeline. That's retarded.
Any talk involving both Go Nagai and canon is buttfuck retarded. Nobody cares, except the autists.
Guys what if...
Just listen guys...Ok?...
What if Violence Jack...
is a sequel to Devilman LADY?!
Nagai introduced the homolust on mecha with Grendizer. Granted, he didn't have much participation on the show but he was the one who insisted with having Kouji as a regular character, what made him into the heroine de facto. According to Pixiv, MondoxTatsuma from Guerrilla High/Violence Jack seem to have a following among fujoshis
Not really, it's a hole between the penis and the anus. There's a Japanese pic that explain it. Anyway, the yaoi hole is a functional vagina, it gets wet and it can make babies. Really, every yaoi has the "you're getting wet down there" line
I'm aware, but again. You'd think, as fan of the creators of some of the gayest works in existence, I'd be desensitized to the lengths people will go to come up with gay shit. But no, when you throw words like "Yaoi Hole" at me, all I can do is be stunned.
>Really, every yaoi has the "you're getting wet down there" line
LIke this shit, seriously what the fuck
VJ isnt a sequel to Devilman or rather, it was at one point, but has since been ignored and is more or less an alternate tale. The final arc isnt the only one with D-Man references however as theres one story arc where Jack battles with punks designed after Jinmen, Sirene and Aleda, plus Shin Jack.
Essentially, Jacks just another way Devilman could go, but isnt the cannon version.
There is a cannon to devilman and its pretty tight if you know what your looking for. Devilman Shin, Lady, Saga, Ghost, In the Dark, a couple of short side stories and Neo are all part of this. Amon and Strange Days arent necessarily part of it, but it depends on the readers choice weather they choose to consider them part of the main series or not.
Honestly Devilman holds up enough on it's own as a solo work, so I've always just kinda considered it all to be like Leiji Matsumoto's stuff, but if Go says he's gotta canon I guess that's cool too.
except he isnt, in fact that whole plot thread brought up some of the major themes in Devilman, saying nothing would change is fucking retarded. It would mean
>No Devilman Corps
>No death of Miki's parents
>No death of Miki
>No Decision to abandon humanity
>No hate breeds hate all out apocalypse
Stop being retarded
>The final arc isnt the only one with D-Man references however as theres one story arc where Jack battles with punks designed after Jinmen, Sirene and Aleda, plus Shin Jack.
On the Harenchi Gakuen arc, there's a cave with all the repressed memories of Satan. It's literally hell
>According to Pixiv, MondoxTatsuma from Guerrilla High/Violence Jack seem to have a following among fujoshis
Only the uke is a hermaphrodite. The seme is a manly man. Japan is sexist as fuck so they can't get rid of the heteronormativity even on fucking gay porn
I think you're just incapable of any sort of reading comprehension. The subject has always been the same - the power suits in Devilman are inconsequential. They have minimum page time, affect the story in no way and could be taken out without changing anything in the actual narrative yet you are trying to use them as a flimsy "Devilman is obviously mecha" excuse. >>13452698 was completely justified when he called them out as such and you tried to say they were a major plot point in >>13452736 which is an obvious lie for anyone who has actually read Devilman. Most readers don't even remember them because they appear in less than ten pages of the manga, maybe even less than five pages.
Fuck you're an idiot.
You orgionaly changed the subject from, there being no mecha elements to them not being impactful to the plot. You're correct, they have minimum page time, then again so do a lot of memorable things, Zennon appears in less then 15 pages, even so BOTH of those things are very important to the story.
I gave you a list of things which wouldn't even be in the story without them and yet you still claim the story will be the same?
Jesus you're a fucking retard with no basis for any of your statements, accept that your wrong and move on.
>You orgionaly changed the subject from, there being no mecha elements to them not being impactful to the plot.
That never happened.
The other poster said
>Also how the hell is Devilman even /m/?
>One instance of machinery does not make something /m/.
And then I said
>Nah, he's right tho. Those suits have less than 10 pages of showcasing. Hell, probably less than 5 pages. You could take them out of the story and nothing would change.
>I gave you a list of things which wouldn't even be in the story without them
The suits have no impact on the actual events. They are just a minor detail, not a reason or cause.
Get rekt, shitter.
Starts with this
You replied with this
I corrected you
You got butt hurt
I corrected you again
You same fagged with this shit and made some bullshit claims
I give you list of what it is they go out and do in which they are the cause of effect for.
You ignore that and continue spouting bollocks.
I explain to you a second time, much briefer but still accurate.
Try to twist it.
Get maijorly triggerd.
Get corrected, yet again.
Finally you return with more bullshit like
>That never happened.
despite both of these being an example of you doing that.
You're seriously trying to claim they have no impact on the plot? None whatsoever? Either you're just trolling or stupid.
>So yaoi is now about hermaphrodites, its kinda... interesting.
Nah, the anuses are basically porn genitals - they work that way because having them operate like their RL counterpart would run cross to the genre's stories.
And Mpreg usually means that you're reading a fantasy/scifi story within the genre, it's not a standard trope.
You're talking about erotic stories written for hetero women that originally doubled as fables for hetero issues around sexuality there, bro. Gay porn normally features characters who aren't even visually coded as uke.
Then Devilman isn't a yaoi thing then. Akira is obviously the one who'd bottom more often. Ryo is a fucking beast, there's no way he wouldn't top.
Most likely stuff like opium, weed, cocaine, al lthat fun stuff. Basically just a cocktail of drugs to keep him straight-faced and even potentially smiling when he's explaining to his best friend how the apocalypse is happening.
>one of the greatest manga works ever created
I'm not sure if Violence Jack really deserves to be called that. It has some amazing moments, of course, but often there's shit like pic related that's just a snooze to read. Iron Castle and those arcs with the iron suit robot lady and Jack as a blind chained giant are the zeniths of the manga, honestly.
> bro and I clubbing around
> get fucking wasted too early
> test levels through the roof because no fap
> we walking some dark alley
> bro starts undressing, he's got a huge boner
> I dont remember bro being so hairy all over
> ohh god what the fuck
> get a boner by looking at him
> I start laughing remembering the brojob pasta we read the other day
> start undressing too while laughing
> stand in front of bro, about to kneel down
> soundsteps coming
> some chick is passing by
> chick's fucking naked and like 2m tall
> bro whispers "hey man check this out"
> bro jumps and rams the chick into a dumpster
> chick is struggling like crazy, Im kinda confused but decide to help him out
> we pin the girl down
> yoooo shiiiit man these are some hairy titties
> feel like puking, gone completely limp
> chick still struggling then suddenly we hear noise coming from the other side of the alley
> like UIIIIIIUUUUU UUIIIIIII UUU or something like that
> yo what the fuck is that
> theres a light coming closer
> NOPE NOPE NOPE
> run home naked
> post in 4chan
You better not be sarcastic about that as well anon.
It was better than the movie.
Devilman Lady isn't about the act of sex, it's about exploring rape, sexuality and their impact. With the page in >>13447699 Nagai is depicting another form of violation, which is that of female-on-female rape. This is a topic you'll often find in shoujo-ai and shoujo with featuring such elements. Pic related.
Aoi has always been depicted as a similar but opposite of Jun. Her sexual abuse has twisted her form of love into a longing for control. This differs from Jun, who eventually learns to trust and love others despite her traumas. Aoi is also jealous of the relationship between Jun and Asuka, which is built on mutual love and trust which Aoi confuses for physical sexuality.
