>Fafner in the Azure: Exodus
>Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossbone
>New Mobile Report: Gundam Wing
>Neo vs Shin Getter Robo
>Future Robot Daltanious
>Rin-ne no Lagrange
>Shirogane no Ishi: Argevollen
>UFO Robot Grendizer
Who needs Doujins when this is a thing?
>Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen
>Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening Of The Trailblazer (The new Endless Waltz)
>Aura Battle Dunbine: Tale of New Byston Well (Properly this time, not just bonus mecha)
>Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (So... guess no more Macross, Dancouga Nova and Seed Destiny leaves this?)
>SD Gundam Force (Obligatory SD Gundam series)
>Martian Sucessor Nadesico: Prince of Darkness
>The King of Braves GaoGaiGar: FINAL
>Rebuild of Evangelion movies
>RahXephon (Someone needs to calm down the above)
>Vision of Escaflowne (Let's try this insular plot again)
>Magic Knight Rayearth (half post-script? The Rune-gods get more screen time on the second half of the series)
>God Mazinger (same as Escaflowne, only new to the games)
>New Getter Robo (Final Dynamic Special time... Because we are Hell!)
>New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (We need to pass the torch)
How to make that work: I just though the (2-time) pattern with the last games is 1) mostly newest series, but insert a couple or more from the 80s or older; 2) A SD Gundam series; 3) A couple of magic-driven series that are difficult to integrate. And no, haven't watched even half of these... but maybe Cephiro magic can fix any complicate stuff? Also, since the previous OGs robots were a real dimensional ninja and a super magic knight, why not a Eva-ripoff of sorts. And of course another 'God' for final boss.
IF that's the formula.
In BX at stage 39, when I'm supposed to convince Girard?
That Gaogaigar is going to cost a lot of money isn't it?

The idea is to use series with large rosters to make up for the small number of licenses involved. The game uses a squad system and features a shitload of combo attacks. Would you play /srwg/?
Huh. Few more minutes 'till the day rolls over for X-O. I think today's the day I get my SR original, too.
1) Convince and fight her with Kio before she goes berserk.
2) After she goes berserk, fight her with Leon and Akito, convince her with Akito, and defeat her with anyone.
>playing with the mod
>the boss of event stage 30 has at least 150K HP
>the boss of event stage 51 has at least 380K HP

STMC are a shit
He's memeing you up.
If popularity didn't stop AGE from getting in SRW, it won't stop Cross Ange, it won't stop Valvrave, it won't stop anything.
Actually, if Yukarin does kill herself, that might stop CA.
Wow, that looks great.
Here's hoping XSEED manages to get through the whole series.
Can be 2 or 3 or just the third movie, really, depending on what fits. The third movie story is so tricky to implement that Z3-2 just skipped it and pulled the Evas back just when they were fighting in Central Dogma. Oh, and Mark.09 still got it's head.
Or maybe it's time to use the TV series again.
Yeah, I was stuck the second time I went through it because prior to berserk you only have so many interactions that trigger.
I think the first time I played BX, though, I did everything after the berserk event, because she spawns opposite the side you're probably on. So only so many events can be triggered prior, but afterward all the steps could be triggered, bit of an oddity.
Speaking of secret triggers, Gorg fighting Bruvictor I can kind of understand since they try tying in the original plot with Gorg and some other ancient pasts, but what's Leon doing as a requirement to Girard? Is it alluding to something he experienced in 30's plot, or something his Valkyrie's capable of doing?
Go with that, original series + End is only 2 and would probably just be the better choice in general. (It also allows for the use of side canon things to bring extra units in - if you want the Mark.09 or something similar as an upgrade for Shinji, just bring in the Super Evangelion!)
>Is it alluding to something he experienced in 30's plot
>I have no idea.
Son, I'm beginning to worry about you.
I remember applying as one of the editor dudes when Aeon Genesis posted here asking for people to help cleaning up the Alpha script. For my audition, I was was given to edit a translated script involving the Evangelion cast (iirc, the stage where Asuka debuts) and it was so fucking terrible I was rewriting every other line. Some of the memorable ones include not translating Angel and confusion over whether or not to use First Children or not since the script kept flip-flopping between the two
I passed but had to bail because life got in the way, but man, I can only imagine how messy that entire script was
Yeah, that might be a best fit after all.

Other things: in case nobody noticed, I also based the roster on Compact 3 (half of it, anyway) and the fact that Nadesico, Evangelion and Gundam Wing never shown up all 3 at once.
What letter would go better with *X? Among the never used ones is H, I, P, Q, T, V and Y. Remember: the gimmick is also making the team name sounds (in theory) cool, like Unknown Strikers or Bright X.
Zoids was one of the ones that got series focus a lot, much like the rest of the K premieres. Though K as a whole seemed kind of disjointed in story, so there wasn't really a lot of synergy, if you were looking for information on which series cross-interacted with it.
You got plenty of units from it, at least.
Zoids Genesis was treated decently - it got a happy ending unlike some members of the cast, it, GxS, and King Gainer had background plot elements that all worked together (And are probably the high note of K's plot), you get a LOT of units from it, Ruuji's goddamn amazing and most of the others are passable to strong (Deadly Kong, Rainbow Jerk, and Bio Volcano stick out in my mind), and you can even save Felme. Plus, its version of Yotaka no Yume doesn't sound like complete shit, and if you don't like that as a battle theme but don't want to use the meh version of EVOLT it also has ED2.
Considering I've gone through multiple IF games multiple times, you're not too far off the mark.
Re Mii is an absolute shitwrecker if you give her a Flight Module since she has a no-cost non-pointblank C attack. But that's probably just my favoritism. Her, Shizuru, and Cags get so much attention.
You can't even just say typical Bones shit writing.
Bones for the most part usually are pretty good until the ending which is where they fuck up in a spectacular fashion.
AO was special because it somehow managed to be consistently shit throughout and the ending was some kind of new record for stupid endings.
>Not much beyond the fact they all aired at the 90s.
"The 90's" is a long time.
More specifically they all aired in 1996, 1995-1996 for Wing and Eva and 1996-1997 for Nadesico.
Re Mii falls off in the lategame, but she does have what is probably the first Hot Blood you'll get, so that's at least nice. If you use K's squad system you can probably justify using her on a final team without saying favoritism.
Then again, I think all but Gin/Souta and his MP Lancestag (WHY COULDN'T THE FELME SECRET HAVE COME WITH BIO STEGO?) and obviously the Muteki-Dan are potentially viable on a first run, though you'd probably be better off choosing someone who isn't Seijuurou.
If you're looking into cast lists, Zoids Genesis is a perfect fit to any "The apocalypse happened a long time ago, but still we live on" series. A cast list like:
>Turn A Gundam
>Gun X Sword
>Megazone 23 Part 3 (since domed cities)
>fuck, may as well throw in the first two parts as well for plot stuff and maybe enemies and shit
>Gurren Lagann + Gurren-hen
And then throw in, I dunno, the original Aquarion or something. It's a cast list I've been mulling over in my head, but I don't have enough series watched that fit the mold to actually finish it (and I still need to watch Turn A anyway).
Well, originally I did have a "post apocalypse" style SRW, but then I scrapped it because I feel the setting has be used a few times, and people here have it as their setting as well.
The universe came here to laugh at you.
>Gundam X fits nicely here
Didn't the apocalypse happen, like, 20 years ago in that one? And everyone knows what caused it?
Yeah, there's doing what AG did, but I was trying to get away from that, thus no Gundam X or Getter Armageddon.
They're worse actually, stage 30 marked the point where I started using the mod.
I'll probably keep using it until it's outdated on the next (duh) update, whenever that comes out (on the 16th right after this event ends?)
Well, they're easy settings to slap a whole bunch of series in, that for the most part SRW hasn't really covered.
And you forgot fantasy.
Fucking hell. I guess when I get back home tonight I'll switch too, this is both screwing with my head and eating all of my Omega Crystals. At least with Suzaku I could just shove BP Regens at the 3 BP cost thing until I won.
Yeah, the LV50 recommended level on that mission and on is total bullshit, I beat the final boss of chapter 1 (60 difficulty) and the last daily missions (70~75 dependingo n which one) with a rather underleveled team, but a team that actualyl met or surpassed the difficulty level got fucking wrecked by the boss, which has at least 3 times more HP than every other non-event boss in the game bar, and almost every other event boss as well, the really high level Suzakus (and even then Suzaku took until like LV90 to break 100K HP and he was STILL made of paper!)
Not only that, whoever decided to axe the daily quest AP costs by half, but also chose to keep the difficulty at the exact same level, AND lower the rewards/drops by MORE THAN HALF is a complete cuntface, event doing the 25 AP quest I get 2 600 upgrade material drops AT BEST.
I beat Suzaku with relatively little trouble until level 90 or so. I hit that boss with a Souled Seven Sword Assault, and it did MAYBE a fourth of its HP, if I'm being charitable. And his only attack is "wide range area fuck you 3000 damage", which can basically 2hko anything not built with Gunbuster tier insane bulk.
Even if my team worked in space (I think like half the members do. I know Exia and the Methuss - for all use that thing does in combat - are good, and I think the OG is, but I don't think Getter 2 is and I know M9 and Enryu aren't), it'd have major issues here.
What they should have done was keep the old missions where they are - maybe up the difficulty on the first one - but throw in things at the 5 intervals as well.
>And his only attack is "wide range area fuck you 3000 damage"
You're forgetting its regular attack which is not only also an AOE, but also causes stagger like a motherfucker
>Even if my team worked in space
My entire team had A space and see how that turned out.
I believe these bosses are only "balanced" with the player using the Event Gunbuster and the event buffed Dancouga and Eva 01in mind.
Which not many people have anyways.
Also https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZWeSpup40ZL9z0MvR3rR239uGokM9GuoQOu0fh4LYEs/ you should be able to edit it now
strangely enough, you get another +5 friends to add at 27
>Rolling for SR Dancouga
>Get SR Super Gundam
It's... actually interesting. Trust+ and Rouse. Long Rifle only needs 2 cores. One skill buffs her attack when over 2/3 and the other buffs her attack when under 2/3 (basically she has always an attack buff) and a defense/movement buff.
Where's that option?
The mod has been great for speeding up the battles, but sometimes it gets stuck on the green loading circle after paying AP for a stage but not playing it yet.
The solution to X-O is and continues to be for someone to setup a private server with non-retarded crystal and gassha drop rates.
Or, if someone had the money licensing this shit and bringing it stateside. Fuck, I'd love the opportunity to do this. I'm not even strapped for cash, but I seriously doubt I've got enough to license, translate, and get some servers.
>Where's that option?
BGM menu, bottom right tab
>The solution to X-O is and continues to be for someone to setup a private server with non-retarded crystal and gassha drop rates.
And how would you do that?
>Or, if someone had the money licensing this shit and bringing it stateside. Fuck, I'd love the opportunity to do this. I'm not even strapped for cash, but I seriously doubt I've got enough to license, translate, and get some servers.
Anyone even have a vague idea of how many jewcoins It'd cost me to get this licensed for US release?
Since the two things by Sagattoru people wanted were posted, what else is there? Well, I suppose high-res scans of Bronco Hitoritabi's last two SRW doujins would be nice.
The latter only has a LOL LOW-RES POP9 TROLLSCAN out there.
It's not SRW-related but the Team Kizuna Satisfaction's Laval/Gem Knight doujin is my personal THAT. Sadpanda has the Gusto/Gishki one.
Qliphot Scout doujinshi?
>Run out of AP one battle before a rank up
I know they're ripping off Chain Chronicle something fierce, but the godawful AP recovery rate (8/hour) needs to change.
Bootleg SRW is 10/hour, most of the games that use the Brave Frontier engine are 12/hour (including Brave Exvius), and FF Record Keeper is 20/hour.
So last night, I went and gambled my crystals like an addict, rolled up a Buster Gundam SR and some R trash, and had a crisis about whether to feed it to Texas Mack or hope to get something good to feed it to, and went with the latter.
I gather up five more crystals just now and
now I hope my next roll gets me Mazinger so I can get massively erect at awful characters dying horribly to feed a killdozer.
Just limit break that Buster Gundumb and start doing the event quests to gather some E chips and buy yourself some exp boosters, and get some easy Premium Tickets you can use to roll the base gacha and maybe get something (I've been having better luck with them lately, even got an SSR with one),, since you're just starting out I doubt you'll get the 3 Gunbusters you need to get all the skills in time anyways.
Well, really, no one here will get the 3 Gunbusters unless they use the mod because stages 30+ are stupid hard, or they farm points/chips the hard way by staying below stage 30 which is gonna take fucking forever.
>Plus, its version of Yotaka no Yume doesn't sound like complete shit
Matt, I will fight you on this (and on a lot of things because your opinions are SHIIIIIIIIT) because apparently i'm the only one who likes Yotaka no Yume
Okay last stage of F.
Also if anyone wants to make a flow-chart for Akurasu use this.
I don't think they ever would have used AO. It just would not have worked with what they wanted to do for the ending of the plot.
That being said the only reason Valvrave or AO would ever get in is if someone important on the staff really wants it. And I don't think that's likely.
Hey, have you gotten to choose the Huckebein yet? Or is that in F Final?
Also a secrets guide for F and Final, http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/575264-super-robot-taisen-f-kanketsuhen/faqs/44548
I'd add the stuff on it myself but I'm dumb and don't know how to tables.
>Hey, have you gotten to choose the Huckebein yet? Or is that in F Final?
Yeah that's F Final
Although I'll be getting the Grungust
>I'd add the stuff on it myself but I'm dumb and don't know how to tables
Yeah same here
Z3's story was likely already set in stone by Z2. Certain elements of Z3's plot show up even in Z (albeit, nobody likely ever thought anything of it).
It likely had a place to go, but fucking terrible execution impeded on that. For instance, as fucking awful as the whole "no, u r teh ba'all" ordeal was, it was still, at its core, your average "We are the saviors and you, the protagonists, are the real evil!" shtick. Done poorly? Yeah. Outlandish? Furthest from it.
The "yokes on you, turns out I can replace Spheres with immortals who'd-a-thunk it" was fucking "how do we dig ourselves out of this whole" bullshit, though.
I people suspected that from the start, since the fusion of all the sphere's thing was hinted at as early as Z1 and nobody thought they'd off or depower all the Z MCs on the last stage.
The only thing hinting as Spheres being replaced by Immortal souls is the notion that they wouldn't touch the MCs for the final.
It wasn't the narrative hinting at it, it was the expected nature of the writing staff.
That's flat-out terrible writing and not even classifiable as foreshadowing.
Quick, post your best wallpapers.
They probably wanted to do two things with Z2's story:
Set up a story that can begin and end in Z2 (i.e. Insalaum and the Dimensional Generals stuff), and build up the threat of Z3's OG plot.
The biggest problem is that Jigoku does absolutely fuck all with Z3's OG plot, leaving Tengoku to go maximum overdrive.
Probably final BX thing we'll get.
Kinda wish they gave out other things, like maybe MK CG Rips aside from stuff like this.
I got the hang of it real quick. It's just rock-paper-scissors with gasha.
I feel lucky I got Mazinger, Nadesico and Getter units so quick.
The generic music felt bad but was understandable.
>2. Get good units
Good units starts to not quite make the cut when the AI opponents fucking go over the cost limit like a bunch of cunts or drop some of the most unfun units to fight against.
WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT J-ARK SHOULD BE A RECURRING UNIT BOSSES HAVE
>I think it also changes terrains when it transforms?
>9K HP at the very least
>3 (4?) pilots
Also making sure they can get Fafner in without having to resort to MIWA'S MAGIC PREGNANCY again.
Though in hind sight, it's become hilarious considering Miwa did magically age herself up in Exodus.
Oh this would be easy. Cross Ange has dimensional shenanigans as part of it's core plot, so in addition to the regular normal semi-futuristic earth, where Aldnoah Zero and MJP can be set, we also have Manafag world and DRAGON world. DRAGON world is somewhat post-apocalyptic, enough we fudge placing Zegapain there.
I recently had a dream where I was playing a cool looking SRW with 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds. I got to the final boss, and he was some guy who wanted to resurrect the
What does that mean?
The worst part is at one point here, one of them cast Alert and a ton of other stuff (but no Guts) so I attacked him with something weak just to get rid of the Alert
But doing THAT apparently triggered him to cast Guts, Valor (again), Strike (again), Alert (again), and Yell x3 despite starting the stage at 150 will like every other enemy. Despite doing no damage to him.
I can finally see why people call @G hard, even though it only apparently kicks in here and during those four "Hard Route" stages earlier on
I told you SRW Guy, YOU THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE JUST AS EASY AS OUTSIDE DIDN'T YOU!?
Well the MP ones are identical, it's only the two boss ones that are any different
Anyways I should probably actually start on that thread soon huh? Although it seems like we may not actually be getting through this stage tonight anyways.
By the way, since the @G patch does not display the bunshin skill, AT ALL (meaning unless you check a guide or play the japanese version, you won't know which one of your units has it, and this also applies to enemies), you should know the last machinery children has bunshin
He didn't even use Valor.
Daimos is a fucking God.
Turns out keeping Daimos up in action is crucial to getting the 6 turn bonus.
Fortunately, he's rather dodgy for not being a Gundam or Aura Battler
Anyone has this book scan?
I can't download from here
>You lose all your OG protagonists on the final stage.
Pen ultimate stage, OG MCs are lost.
Final stage, OG MCs are lost for the first portion of the stage until the JAM Project event happens and they come back and Advent is pissed.
It's like you don't even watch cliche anime or something.
He hit the last enemy which had 7k hp. He didn't have enough EN for his finisher and still killed it.
ERIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaand a Qubeley Mk 2
who do I give this to?
Well finished F.
So far I'd say it's actually a pretty good game, definitely one of if not Winkysoft's best game.
anyone know if these masoukishin scans came from here?
I ended up giving the bonus to K̶a̶z̶u̶y̶a̶ RICHAAAAAARD
And I got this unit
It doesn't look bad, but I don't know who to give it to
I was thinking Emma, but she's already doing well in the Mark 2. Truthfully, I don't know who's a right fit for what.
The War in the Pocket folks are benched, Fa is... there, Kamille wrecks shit in the Zeta, Burning has the Re-GZ, Amuro has the CC Zaku, and I think I may be forgetting about someone.
I knew I was forgetting someone.
Who other than Four herself, who we were able to actually save?
And I've been meaning to ask.
Have the Gundams with the... eyes just always been a thing in these games?
AP and GC do this as well from what I've seen at least.
Well, this mission looks F U N.
I'll check those games out later on.
...This... guy... showed up.
Why do I get the feeling SOMETHING is going to spawn around here?
Well anyway, a voice calls from the mysterious looking head.
I feel like doing something diabolical with Daimos.
To be honest, GC/XO is the most likely candidate of those three options.
As much as I want to see faces like this one in OG, they are a bit of a long shot.
Raideen's theme song is bouncy and fun.
...Doesn't exactly fit the slaughter that is about to occur, but it's really bouncy and fun.
So.... this is the power of ERIKA.... not bad.
Whoa there man, original song is fucking great. K's version is also great.
It's OE's THE TRUMPETS DO DO DODODO DODODODO version that's bad.
I can try taking a picture of it, but it'd likely end up shit.
I kind of like it. It has a charm to it.
Raideen is much the same once you get the secret that adds TWENTY FUCKING POINTS to its Mobility. It trades general killing power from Daimos for a bullshit strong MAP, and IIRC Akira has SP Regen? I know he has a really bullshit version of it in Impact at least, and that seems like the sort of thing they'd copy from Compact/C2.
It's not just that. Remember that one guy from early on in the show who was THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN FIX THE GENERATOR and then died like a day before Ruuji could talk to him? Well, because of plot changes, turns out he's not dead, and fixes the generator up just fine.
Yes, though in AP, Lalah joins while Char is still doing Char things.
>Yes, though in AP, Lalah joins while Char is still doing Char things
Yeah and it makes for some interesting stuff. AP makes me wish that you could get the Zeong, but nope I can't have nice things.
You can just join me in bugging Matt to finish his LP. http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/9231676/1/
You can enjoy how bad it is and let Matt do all the suffering.
>You can in Compact 1!
I think I'll pass on games like Compact for now, but maybe one day just for the Zeong.
Ok, so imagine a game that spends half its time on filler missions instead of doing actual series plots, had a very large amount of content removed, debuted multiple series and treated pretty much all of them like piss, is barely even balanced, and has a route who's "plot" is like 90% Victory Gundam and CCA. Throw in an asshole MC, another person who he gets along with about as well as most substances get along with Francium, and a third person who actually has a decent plot that you COMPLETELY MISS on one route (did I mention the game is split in two halves, so you have to spend even longer playing it, with a final stage at the end of it all after you do both routes that's really fucking piss and contains at least one glitch and absolutely no balance?).
And then make it BORING AS HELL.
That's Shin SRW.
(Also its plot is far and away the worst in the franchise, even trumping 1 and 2 basically having no plot at all.)
Personally, I'm prioritizing games that don't have rips in the pastebin.
There is literally no other reason I would choose to play Compact.
Okay, that's a lie, it has Dunbine, BUT. Nonetheless, my point still stands, and as it stands, it seems my next game after the Compact games are blown over, I'll be heading down the apparent road to hell known as F and F Final.
No other Winkysoft game has an unskippable animation that is A FUCKING MINUTE LONG.
Tenjou Tenge Nendou Bakusaiken can actually reach that length if you kill the enemy and if the pilots decide to blather on long enough, and it doesn't even have the decency to have a cool looking DK either.
You can watch me acquire the Zeong... or the Elmeth! soon.
Sounds more boring than anything. Lazy writing perhaps, but, as it is I can barely read moon runes, so it won't affect me as much.
>inb4 Shin is the next SRW to get translated
I look forward to it, the Elmeth was fun in AP.
Do Zeong, it's the better unit.
>Sounds more boring than anything.
Boring, poorly balanced, and with a terrible plot. It fails at basically everything that could keep you entertained.
Music's not bad, I guess. That dummied out theme aside, it's all at least decent stuff, though IIRC it lacks Don't Stop Carry On? And if it does, that's kind of annoying.
EAT SHIT GATO
Also 5300 attack for Hyper Aura Nigiri is fucking ridiculous.
Yeah it doesn't have Don't Stop Carry On.
Which is why I dropped the game.
So Super Inazuma Kick is actually a pretty solid finisher. It's strong even at level 1, AoE, and is oddly disconnected from Gunbuster so it can get used even though Gunbuster is a shooter.
Only issue is that if something gets right up next to Gunbuster, it might not work on them.
If the game had any sort of PvP system I'd say they'd probably crack down on this pretty hard, but the only interaction between other players is by helping one another so I'd feel like they'd be a bit more lax on the security in this case.
That's my theory anyway, it could be completely wrong but I haven't seen any people saying they were so it feels like a sound theory.
That's a good point too, there's nothing in the various friend card-esque system that would actually be able to determine if someone was using the mod, and unless Bandai was monitoring the player's reserves and battles 24/7, which I highly doubt, there's a very good chance they won't know and frankly won't care.
They don't need to. They can just track how fast you clear battles since it's one of the common S-Rank criteria. If the time is obnoxiously low for higher difficulties, they might catch on.
Garbage of Kamigawa, pls, make way.
It's too bad the usual cheats don't seem to work on AP once you use the demo translation mod. It'd make the early game less of a slog to be able to stuff my guys full of cash right off the bat.
>Armor and Crit up without conditions
Truly best girl.
In regards to Z2 introducing VOTOMS into SRW, was Red Shoulder Document: Roots of Treachery introduced as an individual show, since Leeman was in the level pertaining to Last Red Shoulder, even though he died in Roots of Treachery, and that you fight Ground Type Fatties?
