Did i miss anything?
You seem flustered anon. Let me do your make up.
No, it's was just long, cold, and dim today, and I need to take the bus home.
Also I couldn't reach wifi fast enough to come up with a better thread.
ALL BELTS COMBINE,
ULTRA MAXIMUM HYPER WEEBPHOON
In the past I thought that image was really edgy, and to some extent, it kind of is, but thinking about it, all it really says is "show the bad guys mercy because they could be reformed." So like, Batman and Superman, despite both being heroes, consider the meaning of good and evil fairly regularly, don't murder villains wantonly, and have a lot more going on than just punching the bad guys.
So they pass the Akagi Test.
Anon, do I look like I have a million bucks?
Dude that's a year old joke, and an-already used OP image.
I know. I was just saying that the image is far less edgy than I realized.
Anyway, even Kuuga, the most violent Heisei rider, doesn't want to kill the villains for its own sake, and only does it to prevent further suffering. Not even explicitly because of moral beliefs, but because he personally cares about people. I literally can't think of any Riders that don't pass that test.
Mine was going to be about Hot Wheels though.
If what's been said in these threads is true, it's that he absolutely loved it and would love to return, however his talent agency forbids it completely.
He might make a return in, like, 10 years or something when his talent agency stops giving a fuck.
It's Billy the Kid.
It's not even Rider-related, although it does contain justice.
It's a bee. Because Shimamoto keeps being good.
Yes but this time he's got two guns and an even bigger gun. You'll get your beefy form with Benkei most likely since his weapon is a hammer of sorts.
It's not unacceptable but it's not half as awesome as either of the two I thought it might be would be. Doc Holliday was a fucking legend, in my opinion greater than Billy the Kid by far, and the Man with No Name is America's version of Kurosawa's wandering samurai, which would present a nice symmetry.
No it fucking isn't, that's why it's so stupid.
Well I understand why they didn't do The Man With No Name, considering he's a fictional character and they'd have to get the rights for the character and that would cost money (something we all know Toei hates spending), but I do agree that Doc Holiday is a better fit considering he was an actually good person unlike Billy the Kid.
I assume they went with Billy the Kid because he's more well-known in pop culture.
Rideron is the stupidest looking ever, but it's so Late 80's that I have to love it. Road Sector is still better though.
I like your word choice.
I have to say I'm not a big fan of the vectoring on that piece. I know what it's going and I don't think is hitting its mark.
At first I thought the lizard thing Ghost connects to was lame, because why the hell is it a giant lizard? What kind of sense does that make?
But now I love it because FUCK YEAH IT'S A GIANT LIZARD THAT HIS MOTORCYCLE ATTACHES TO WHO CARES IF IT MAKES SENSE THAT'S AWESOME.
/krg/ generally is buttblasted about Kenshiro because he became 4chan's resident go-to Moralfag character and not their bugfaces nobody gives a shit about.
>Things that needs to happen: Ganma Artbook.
Who knows, maybe it is.
Takeru having fun while riding his giant iguna bike monster was great.
Nobody outside of /m/ gives a fuck about Kamen Rider.
On every other board it's treated like a laughing stock except on Tumblrite shitholes like /co/ where they transcend the limits of cringe even more than /m/.
The entire moralfag thing on 4chan hinges specifically on Kenshiro and always has.
Get fucked you BBT watching shit
Any and every tokusatsu thread on /co/ is beyond cringeworthy, they reek of old men trying to be hip
Why does nobody on /co/ talk like a human? They all speak like they're in a play or something, their is something fundamentally bizarre about their vernacular even by 4chan standards.
I don't know, I thought it had a pretty good execution.
Yeah I know that but in general the average post over there has a very strange and obnoxious sort of tone, like they try to type how people speak in real life if you get me. But it's like how people spoke decades ago to boot.
Why not fuck off back there and stay there then.
>what is /mlp/
>What is /b/
>What is /s4s/
>What is /r9k/
/co/men Rider threads that crop up on /co/ are pretty chill and have good discussion and recommendations, despite how people are trying to portray it here. Everyone just needs to calm the fuck down.
I can never be friends with someone over the age of 18 that watches Marvel/DC shit and/or still reads comics.
I'm autistic enough on my own, I don't need the people around me to be even more autistic than I am.
no one answered me in the last thread
anyone know how Tendou's belt got fixed? i've finished Kabuto and they still haven't explained it
and wiki didn't help either
I never noticed, but I started going there before I started coming here (and started coming here because I started watching Gundam 0079) so maybe it's just me.
I'd like that. But apparently you can't like JUSTICE without regard for where it comes from.
Regardless, whoever brought up /co/, you should know it's a mistake because there's enough of a combination of people who like western comics/cartoons here and people who hate /co/ as a board that you're going to get a fucking shitstorm.
Yeah but /co/ is the bottom rung of the ladder. Almost every other board hates them and tells them to fuck off if they expose themselves. Even /v/ looks down at /co/.
I greatly enjoyed the not one but two attempts /co/ had to shitpost on /a/ for Christmas and got their assholes torn asunder.
The belts fix themselves, as well as giving the wearer superhuman regeneration (how Kagami survived getting stabbed, someone put the Gatack belt on him) and strength (how Shota Tendou could lift giant pieces of rubble.)
>somehow go from /co/ shitstorm to Showa Troll's comeback at the same time
Someday, anon. Someday.
This is because /co/ has a lot of overlap in user base with other boards, and I'd say about a third of /co/mrades generally do have trouble suppressing their power levels and not talking about comics.
Who has the best Rider Kick?
no one remembers or cares enough about kabuto's plot to check. just sum it up to ZECT bullshit or Time bullshit
>have trouble not talking about something that they enjoy when they think that it's relevant
Yeah I'm sure there's idiots who try to shoehorn /co/ material into everything (Guy who won't shut up about Flash/Arrow when it's not applicable, for example), but the idea that we're NEVER allowed to so much as mention it? That's just silly.
>the day 4chan creates a /cpsht/ and we get moved there
I'm not talking about the content overlapping. I'm talking about people who like comics also liking other things.
Mentioning it has become a problem BECAUSE of the people who shove it into everything. People just become wary of any mention and/or overreact, assuming you're not going to shut up about it.
In my experience the average /co/ poster is utterly ignorant of everything outside of comics or cartoons, literally plebs in the most true sense of the word. I'm not passing myself off as a connoisseur of fine arts but these fuckers are like the greasiest most ignorant aspies imaginable in how little they know about ANYTHING beyond their capeshit and leftist cartoons.
And here anons act like Nihon is the worst part of this thread
It's more complicated than that. We've reached critical mass. Much of /krg/ is bitter about /co/ because of a long span of time there where people (whether they actually visited /co/ regularly is irrelevant but I'm inclined to think they probably did/do) forced it into the thread over and over.
Now whenever anyone mentions it, /krg/ reacts horribly, and people who go on /co/, most of whom had nothing to do with the original shitposting, get defensive. This convinces non-/co/ people in the thread that the /co/ shitposting is ongoing, and their rage intensifies. Which then causes people who post on both boards to become even more defensive. And so on.
oh fuck that actually makes a lot of sense
That's what I was really talking about, but yeah that's a better explanation.
It honestly makes me sad because with the resurgence in live-action superhero TV shows in America there's opportunity to talk about similarities/differences between this sort-of-new popular genre and Japanese toku, but it's a discussion that will never happen.
You're the only faggot who wants this, you've been regurgitating this same post for months. Nobody here gives a fuck about cringey shit like Flash and Arrow or the new Supergirl who craves the BBC.
Ah yes the time honored /co/ technique of BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE for your own shortcomings.
Start a separate thread rather than putting it in /krg/, do not spam about it in here, specify that you're genuinely interested in discussing the similarities and differences because you think both are cool, and you have no interest in shitting up /krg/ and such. Basically be extremely courteous. Or just start the discussion on 420chan or something where there isn't all the hostility.
I can confirm this. Just this Halloween I found out the majority of /co/ only knows Nosferatu from Spongebob.
Alright fuck this, I'm dumping webms.
Dude had a monster girl in his party, and his own clubhouse.
>two of the most based Undeads in the show had to sacrifice themselves to un-fuck Mutsuki's character
>by the time it's finished it's only like seven episodes until the end and he barely gets to do anything before all the shit goes down
Funny because looking at that thread on /co/ it seems to me that they want in on that secret club but they have as much tact and know-how as George did when he tried to join the fucking Van Buren Boys.
I don't know much about her. Haven't watched Wizard yet.
I don't even know who that is.
Nice. I don't remember that part, though. Context?
>yfw she uses her witch powers to do all kinds of kinky shit to you
Kivala is a movie rider from Decade.
God I miss Drive's cast so much.
Gen and Yuki wanted to go to space so Yuki told her to do pic related. But Gen thought they were gonna have sex or something.
I want to give Yuki a good dicking
So, if I'm not misunderstanding, the Robin Hood chick from Ghost was stealing from people who blackmail and extort people and get away with it because they're in positions of power, and giving that to the poor and homeless, and she's supposed to be in the wrong?
Yet the show is about people enacting violence on people who do evil things, not actually improving the circumstances of the innocent except purely via the violence against the perpetrators (i.e., if a monster is killing the homeless the solution is to kill the monster and leave them homeless) and this is treated as 100% acceptable and right.
I'm... confused. If she was cutting their throats and leaving their wealth to their bratty kids, would that be better?
Must be fun to bring your kids there and watch them smile.
It's not that she was necessarily in the wrong, it's more that it was dangerous because you should care about your own life while pursuing your goals too. Kinda like, I dunno, what I think Date went on about sometimes making sure he doesn't die himself because a dead doctor can't help shit.
They actively state her Ganma would've killed her if she kept vying for that type of justice just to drive that message home even further too.
Stage shows always remind me of this pic
The most evil thing she did was the simple fact of breaking and entering, given that she's literally just taking stolen money and, being unable to return it to the actual owners, giving it to those most in need. She didn't kill those guards, did she?
Robin Hood is one of my favorite characters so I guess I just felt like the idea that it was evil to steal from the corrupt and rich and give to the poor and needy was incompatible with the attempt to portray the character of Robin Hood in a heroic light.
Hey anon, you're alright
Don't turn around tomorrow
Wow. I totally forgot who that was. Selective Memory is the best.
OG Rider Kick. No one screams 'RIDER KICK' anymore and it saddens me.
Doesn't matter what he thinks or if it's stupid. Shit is a staple. It's like removing the stars and strips from Captain America. Is it stupid? Yes. Is it a staple and iconic? Also Yes. The Rider Kick stays.
I wasn't really feeling Ghost as a character until episode four when he jumped off the roof of that building to save that guy. Now I feel like I get him better. He's a fucking hero. Not just because he has powers and uses them to fight evil, but because he cares about everybody. He just wants everyone to be okay and happy. He wants the world to be a better place than it is and he'll die
againif he has to in order to make it that way.
I NEED GIFS!
GIFS OF THE GLOWY EYES
Ghost is laying it on thick with the supernatural elements. Not just surface level shit either.
>the dots on the map making the eye symbol
That's some occult psychogeography if I've ever seen it.
Nothing wrong with that.
I love the concepts and the sense of borrowed time, as well as how heroic the main character is, and how he struggles with self-esteem sometimes but doesn't spend long stretches of time moping. I don't necessarily like all the silly humor, though it's fine in smaller doses. I also feel like maybe Robin Hood could have been handled a bit better (although every time he's actually used the Robin Hood eyecon it's been amazing).
I'm also pretty hype about Spectre. He just looks so fucking cool.
That's dumb as fuck. I mean, sure, it works if you're a complete autist that only cares about themselves, but normal people usually defer to other, more knowledgeable, people when trying to decide on things because it's usually a better bet than random fucking chance.
It does a lot of what Gaim did in terms of Riders being in a constant struggle with one another and a protagonist who just wants everyone to calm the fuck down.
Dragon Knight, the adaptation, is surprisingly better. Despite FLIPPIN BURGERS
>Several different suggestions with differing reasonings
I mean, sure, it's not like one of our suggestions might appeal to the OP. Better tell the guy to decide for himself instead of actually trying to help.
I mean, I know when people ask me for help, I always lecture them on why they don't need my help instead of just helping them with something that takes almost no effort.
I don't come here to listen to you be butthurt about 40 year old shows that trigger you because the protagonists are too 'moralfag' for you senpai. And you're not going to change my mind about them despite it conflicting with the hivemind.
Blah Blah Blah Ghost
Blah Blah Blah Stay dry and get hyped for Specter
>writers decide to throw in aliens for shits and giggles because they knew Ryuki's ending was dumb anyways
>Ryuki fans call it effortless
Do you take all your kids shows this seriously?
I don't fucking understand people who say this kind of bullshit about
reset endings. It's one thing not to like them, sure, I'm fine with that, but it's fucking bullshit to claim that because they reset the timeline that it makes the previous loop completely fucking meaningless, especially considering all the efforts and development of the Riders and Yui in the TV's timeline is what LEAD to the bittersweet final reset.
It was my first pre-W Heisei and it's way different. I think it's kinda boring for about 20 episodes, really good for the next 20, and then WEIRD for the last episodes.
Just be aware that for a lot of the runtime an episode's fight can be crammed into the last minute and comprised mostly of Ryuki or Knight's stock footage.
Kitaoka is great in every meaning of the word.
Yeah, it takes some time to pick up but once it picks up after other riders outside of Shinji/Ren are properly introduced it gets fucking great until the pretty, well, 'divisive' last stretch.
That thread is getting shittier right before my very eyes
I really hope Hiro goes through with nuking the whole board
Kitaoka a best. Glad there are others who think so too.
But we don't even know how many loops they had to go through to finally reach that point.
If we take the novel and SIC stories as canon too, then there were a LOT of alternate realities in play. There's even one where Ouja wins the TATAKAE and wishes for the battle to continue forever.
Has /krg/ done anything justice related recently?
stopped my college rommate from getting bullied because he was showing his power level in public by wearing pic related
Kitaoka was best Ryuki rider. I hated him at first since he was such an absolute dick to everyone, and then he grows on you with the series thanks to Shinji, and then the final episode happens.
kids like chocolate chip! they like ice cream too! that's really genius and nice!
don't say that
yeah that's not good, you told him the right thing
i love my mom too! sadly she left my dad for some african-american man, the only thing i heard about her was "12 inch" or something and i still don't understand what that means
aww that's so kind of you, maybe you should tell jeremy upfront
that's a really not very nice thing to say friend
>the only thing i heard about her was "12 inch" or something and i still don't understand what that means
It means that your mother loves you very much and didn't want to break your dad's heart but fell so deeply for this man that it's almost like she's tied to him by a 12-inch string and can't be away from him.
fuck i almost cringed but then i died of laughter
>wanted to watch a couple more episodes of Fourze before going to sleep
>new Grimes album came out
>I've listened to three times now and haven't watched any Kamen Rider since
>am up over an hour later than I'd intended
What Kamen Rider is Takatora Kureshima?
OOO's TakaToraBatta Form
Otaya see's Wataru jerking off in the bathtub.

Takumi stumbles across Kusaka raping Mari.
You better justifaiz yourself right now.
Date tells Eijji a joke, he finally gets it.
Micchy and Kouta are walking during a nice day.
Orange you glad its a great day?
What's Shinnosukes favorite type of girl?
A Type Wild
Anyone who's played Battride War 2, what in the world is the difference between Poison Mode and Survival Mode? They both seem to have the same rules(I.E. You don't recover health to full on completing a level), and I seem to recall the original game didn't have health drops on its Poison Road challenge which is why you needed the Wizard Water Form figure equipped at all times
Also, did they actually nerf Ryuki into the ground even more? He lost his laser thing in Survive and they replaced it for this garbage tail slap from the Dragreder that does no damage at all. His normal attacks seem like they're all the same speed as well, so they're completely worthless yet again.
poison slolwy depletes your health but it's nearly unnoticable, just treat it as survival mode
and yes ryuki is absolute shit to play unless you level him to 30+ and fully gear him, but his shield vent is still pretty good
>but his shield vent is still pretty good
His R1 is still alright for keeping up a combo, but I wouldn't say the Shield Vent is that great. It's better than it was in 1 since I don't recall you being able to keep running with it, but other than that the damage is really low for what it does, especially when it's pretty much the only attack for use on bosses.
Anything else I should know about the latter Survival Modes as well? Damage Survival 2 looks like it'll just be exactly the same, Low Level doesn't really matter too much outside of damage on the harder modes, and I assume Final Survival just adds all of the modes together for extra fun?
it's actually really really mild for a musou game but latter survival modes can be a total bitch with bullet sponge everywhere
the best contender for latter parts are
bugged emperor kiva; if you want to play with closed eyes
crane arm spam birth; kill bosses in 1 second and guaranteed A
faiz axel; a bit pain to the ass to play but very very effective
VE decade; best arsenals
I doubt they can be as bad as the original's final level where
you always have two bosses attacking you at the same time, sometimes three, there's like ten of them total, they all do about a sixth of your health bar if they hit, you're on Poison Road so you can't heal since there's no health drop, the bosses are all super armored, the arena you're fighting in is basically a broom closet, and they send sped up Eternal, Cosmic Fourze, Sagittarius, and the Cassius Worm at you during it all.
I'll probably be using Faiz, Hibiki, Wizard, or Decade for the last one, they're pretty much the best in both games I've found, but thanks for the tips.
>Godai sees someone seemingly injured
>How many seconds does it take Kagami to screw in a lightbulb?
He can't by himself. He'd need ten, though.
>What's Roberto Shijima's favorite book?
Anything in the For Dummies series.
>What does Mr. Belt call his ultimate invention?
The Krim de la Krim.
>Implying it wasn't completely your fault and not the Kajins
Golgom Priest faggots could've won like 3 times if they didn't stake a whole evil plot on a Kaijin and then strategically disregard Black once the Kaijin had its win condition set. Like with the fucking Tapir who had things all set and working but no, he has to ALSO play bodyguard even though his life is what holds everything in place.
Kill yourselves,you High Priest shitters
You think the Golgom priest are dumb? In RX around episode 12 to 16 Kotaro goes to the demon world and they refer to have been gone for 3 months. the Earth was without a protector for 3 FUCKING MONTHS. Crisis could've conquer Earth in that time, they are truly the dumbest.
Alright, could you give me any tips on Kiva? I was terrible with him in 1 but could at least use Emperor decently, now it seems like Bashaa is the only useful form at all because of the special attack it has. I've read something about using the triangle on normal form to knock the guy down for a guaranteed combo, but what's the best way to use him at all? I'm really not seeing it.
Same deal with Kabuto, how in the hell do I use him effectively? Clock Up kills combos, Rider Kick is great for one-shotting pretty much everything that isn't a boss but the time it takes is awful, and his circle seems to be the only thing worth using and it does no damage at all.
you don't use Kiva, you use Kiva Emperor
quickly go to dogga to fill the bar then go Emperor Right away. in emperor form when the timer is about to run out (1 to 2 seconds before depleting) use your special attack, the game will bug out and you will stay at Emperor Form forever
Emperor form's red sword thingy can stunlock pretty much anything and deals fucktons of damage, also massive range
Kabuto is more of "fun" to use rider, you don't actually play him seriously because his arsenals are fucking shit for a musou game
i mostly use the huge axe chop in armored mode and rarely ever use change beetle unless i want to fuck some worms up
>in emperor form when the timer is about to run out (1 to 2 seconds before depleting) use your special attack,
You mean the R2 right? Because I can't seem to use the R2 at all even though the bar isn't red when I'm in Emperor Form. It only seems to work on Decade for me in this game. Thanks for the tip about Dogga though, his O/Triangle is amazing since you get that auto-block when you successfully stick the hammer into the ground.
1. That movie with gaoh in it, it ties directly to the series
2. That movie with wataru in it, should be an introduction for kiva
3. That movie with ryoutarou's grand son in it, which was supposed to be the final den-o movie
4. That movie with chou in the title, it tied to decade's episodes
5. Those spin-off movies with zeronos, diend and time cop-rider in it
That's all I could think of.
Oh man, this kicks so much ass, Blade's soundtrack is great and that's a great midseason form.
Is the guy who gave it to him the Tarantula Undead everyone's always on about?
I would like you guys to give us some feedback on this new video which for a /krg/ thread I think it would be interesting how this will go. It's not a podcast (thats coming in a few hours) but its something new we wanna try. Though next time it will be Rob on his own
That's simply how Tendou is.
Yeah that's kinda the thing
pretty much nobody actually likes him at going through except Juka and
Hiroyi later on before all that crazy shit happensmaybe KaGAmi and a few others
Howcome nobody ever talks about how great a song Neppurider is? Its soooo good.
lmaoing @ ur lyfe centalbabby
>still somehow getting quads despite being scum
>implying I'd be mad about not being a central shithead
I'm going to go watch more Rider
Anyone would be mad about not having a fuckton of corn in your state.
Alright. Have fun.
So, I know that most Heisei series are pretty loosely connected (if at all besides Decade) but the Showa series seem to share a bit of continuity too (like Tachibana-san), is this true? Does most of the early Showa series take place in the same world?
It's still better than TV-N and the video quality makes TV-N look like fucking shit (it was already shit but you get my point)
