I finally found a decent picture showing what the silhouetted prototype zeta in first Z gundam opening probably looked like.
So how about a concept art thread?
Mamoru Nagano's concept design for the ZZ
It was referred to as the "Proto-Epsy Gundam," a kind of scaled-down Psycho Gundam, in a cool feature which ran in... Animage? Out? The Anime? One of those old classics. Makoto Kobayashi art FTW
Kaumi Fujita's redesign of Nagano's ZZ concept. I LOVE THIS.
Another ZZ rough design, back when it was gonna be called the Omega Gundam. Not sure who did it. Akitaka perhaps?
not really sure it's concept art but its apparently Ikuto's take on the Sazabi
would be nice seeing some 3d concept art from 2d jp artist.
btw that's the remake of ghost in the shell by a group of 3d artist.
Here's Plamo-Kyo Shiro's "Bloody Mary" with the extra arms photoshopped out.
Rough design for the Zentraedi battlesuit from Macross Plus
Another rough design for the same thing
Well the Methuss based ones are still essentially Zeta knockoffs rather than obviously Methuss-based. I mean the ReZEL is part of the RGZ line and its name apparently stands for REfined Zeta Escort Leader or something close.
Anyone have the Okawara version of the standard armor G-Line in a non-shit resolution?
