Friends Forever #11 is out on iTunes.
Previous comics can be found here:
The fucking front cover is borderline false advertising.
This looks fucking awful. I have never seen a more unappealing style
That image was posted in every episode thread, so I'd say it's more of a running joke at this point.
No but really, you're fucking new, even with pony. Pic fucking related is the worst.
She's pretending her to be another wonderbolt, she wants to keep it secret to the others.
Literally what. Its like the tripfag on /tv/ who keeps posting "Interstellar is like that scene from Return of the King where everyones happy and jumping on Frodo's bed just stretched out for three hours"
Allow me to sum up this thread in advance, for those who don't have the patience to read through it:
>Katie Cook is ten thousand whores for ten thousand years
>The publication of Reflections should be referred to the International Criminal Court
>Katie Cook sleeps in my closet and watches me at night
>Absolutely all of you--yes, including YOU--are IDW shills
>Katie Cook killed my father and raped my mother
>IDW sales figures keep sliding, you can't explain that!
>IA IA KATIE FHTAGN
We now return you to your regularly scheduled 4chan.
Agreed. It makes me happy whenever I look through that one and the artstyle is a big part of it. It's just perfect for the CMC.
If you cannot really comprehend the anology it means that just because everyone does something stupid it doesn't mean that you cannot take issue with someone doing something stupid.
IE just because every comic book cover ever has been a lie, does not mean you cannot take issue with it.
But then again, most people here are on the retard end of the bell curve.
He's a faggot, has horrible opinions, uses SJW arguing tactics, defends his opinions till the bitter end but that fucker has skill.
He deserves what he got but fuck it it's still a big loss.
No I understood what he was getting at perfectly.
But the example he used to promote it wasn't applicable to comics. There is no common ground between niggers and comic book covers that makes the analogy work.
Wasn't complaining about the point.
Its just redundant to point out considering its a staple of the industry, much like people coming back from the dead is.
> Everyone at /mlp/ loves the comic, there's only a small, insignificant, noisy minority disliking it
> There's only one lone samefag posting his pathetic, insignificant opinion over and over
> It's a comic for little girls, the comic is not for you
> You weren't entitled to anything to begin...
> The comic sales drop are normal, there's no reason to believe any of those fake sales figures posted by the same fedora-wearing neckbeard loser
If it is comprehensible and fits the point then I fail to see how it is shitty. Maybe because everyone here is on the wrong end of the autism spectrum that using the word rape triggered their niggers, but the analogy works.
> The comic so far
> From a northamerican city the characters went to the inside of a brick room.
> There's some clouds and sky panels too
Well, it's as if the artist had no idea of what is he supposed to draw.
Oh wait. He didn't.
Thanks. I'll be sure to link it at the end.
For the comic industry it's the other way around.
Comic book fans act in a violent mob when something doesn't pander to them or go their way. And the industry isn't stealing from their fans, their fans constantly throw money at them because they're easy to please and even when they're dissatisfied they'll continue to read and discuss what you're making.
I didn't know /mlp/ was this stupid.
That's all of it. Hope you liked it /mlp/!
HQ's out, so I'll link that first:
And these rips if you want them for some reason:
Yeah, the artist would definitely have benefited from a bit more background research here, while we haven't seen much of Cloudsdale or pegasi architecture, ALL we've seen has ancient Greek-inspired. The classroom doesn't even have pillars.
If you are honestly getting this assblasted over a nigger analogy you need to just kill yourself bro. This has gone from making a comparison to niggers to your own personal rant about comic book fans, put down the rainbow dash fuck plush and step away from the keyboard.
Only thing of value on this entire trainwreck.
I'm not the same person you were replying to. I don't care about the analogy because it was pretty stupid. I just wanted to correct you because you don't seem to understand what you're talking about or you're having a hard time saying what you want to say clearly.
Her face looks like she's on the verge of admitting to Spitfire that she wants to tonguefuck Loop De Loop.
>backflashes don't use any already established or recognizable Wonderbolts
>Soarin' gets honorable mention in >>20603653
So is Scootaloo just physically disabled in this comic? I know that those fillies seemed much younger than Scootaloo but it's not like they'll give her a bunch of shit for being there.
Why wasn't she in the class on the second day? I guess this was like a paid class?
Why wouldn't Scootaloo's
take her to something like this?
I feel like it's kind of begging that question.
FF#1 is still worse then this, right?
For those of you that hate it, where does it rank as far as worsts go?
Storytimes are actually part of the reason I ever started buying comics. Someone did it for issue #1 of pony and it was good enough that I bought it to see it in print. I skip on the ones I don't like, but I really do like how they look physically.
I doubt most people buy them, but some get into comics through them so I wouldn't say your statement is wholly true.
Not as good as I had hoped, but better than I had feared.
The characters were treated relatively fairly, it's been a long time since we've had a Dash this good in the comics. Spitfire was OK too, especially the callback explaining her behavior in WA.
I absolutely love the art, it's adorable as fuck, but the artist should probably watch the show before trying to draw any more backgrounds.
Sadly, beyond that it didn't have that much to it, I didn't find it particularly funny or interesting, so maybe a 7/10
>So is Scootaloo just physically disabled in this comic?
Late bloomer/possibly disabled.
>Why wasn't she in the class on the second day?
Since the class takes place in Cloudsdale, Scootaloo probably wasn't signed up. Maybe if they had something closer to Ponyville.
>FF#1 is still worse then this, right?
That issue still sold much more than Andy Price and Katie Cook's Rarity and AJ's FF comic, despite the previews and reader feedback warning everyone about how bad was the first FF comic.
Think about it.
>cutest issue ever
>explores spitfire's character and let's us know why she switched to topcunt since the grand galloping gala
>good guy dash
>backgrounds should be more show related
9/10, hope artist does more mini-issues like this.
It's really hard to beat FF1. You would have to purposely try to be that bad.
I used to buy the comics, but I practically stopped six months ago. Almost everything is either mediocre as fuck or just plain bad. I'll wait until there is one that I think is worth a purchase.
> This comics
> The comments
Well... it's kinda obvious who were the real readers and who are the samefag shills desperately trying to apply damage control.
Would you faggots die if you just admited the comic was just plain bad?
Negative feedback is also a very important aspect of comic industry faggots. Unless the editorial is told about what the fuck is it doing wrong with one license, everyone there will just assume they are doing awesome and will have no reason to correct mistakes and learn from them.
The name, junior flyers summer camp, tells us it's probably a paid camp. Plus it's located in Cloudsdale, quite a long way from Ponyville.
Scootaloo is definitely a late bloomer, both in getting her cutie mark and flight, but it's uncertain whether she's disabled or not. Fluttershy was pretty fucking terrible at flying when she earned her cutie mark, so Scootaloo might not be that far behind her.
>I used to buy the comics, but I practically stopped six months ago.
I stopped buying the comics when I saw Flash Sentry being shoehorned in Luna's Micro.
I have never seen any reason to want to buy them again, and lately I haven't even been motivated to download the free scans.
Think about it: not even having the comic for free can make me want it anymore.
There's a difference between bringing up a problem in a comic or discussing the structure of a comic than just saying it's shit and insulting anyone that disagrees with you.
Literally none of the post against this comic could be used to help improve the comic and just looks like angry post on an image board.
If you were in the industry would you want to listen to someone insulting you or someone telling you how you can improve?
And out of all the places to promote a comic why do you think someone would come to /mlp/ of all places to do it?
No, but I do know that certain assholes who really like to promote and defend the comic for free frequent this site to apply damage control, create fake hype and pick fights/ try to recruit their own leejiuun to make them fight their whine internet grudges for them.
Users from Equestria Daily and Round Stable constantly partol /mlp/ to look for things to bitch and get mad about, for example.
Considering how desperately he rejects any responsability for his fuckups and how strongly he denies the comic's problems (Ted's issue included) I wouldn't be surprised if he had visited this place to apply damage control.
>Even your heroes can have FLAWS.
Heh, if only some of /mlp/ got that.
Anyway, pretty gud, it's of course a predictable retool of "drill sergeant nasty don't know how to kid", but it was okay.
I have the nasty feeling that if Meghan would have wrote it, it would've featured TWILIGHT and Dash in Spitfire's position, but I'm glad we got this instead.
Dash being good with kids like that makes sense since after all they want to learn to fly and that's all she know.
Pretty gud 8 R.I.P Ted Anderson DashXLoopDeLoop porn when/10.
Because it is discussed every time some asshole brings out names like soundmonkey44, illustrious q, murrisson and nk snork.
You don't like the comic? Then you are automatically murrisson samefagging over and over and if you disagree you are automatically autistic (and murrisson as well)
just yesterday we had a funny bitchfest when some assblasted samefags were complaining about the new thread watcher, since now it shows the number of individual posters present on every thread.
They whined and whined and whined because they can't samefag anymore and tried their best to pretend it was a flawled, unreliable option that proved nothing, etc.
Honestly, I wouldn't be too surprised considering we are one of the places that talk about the comics the most regularly compared to other sites.
Mixed feelings. I though the story was adorable and added a bit more to Spitfire and Rainbow Dash. But it was rather predictable and unoriginal as fuck sometimes. Same for the artstyle, it felt nicely expressive and adorable at some points and utterly wrong and unfitting at others. Plus that it seems the artist couldn't grasp much of the background style concepts of the show.
6/10 for the mere fact that I could find enjoyment in it. If not I'd score it worse.
Heather Breckel is already applying damage control and being a super cunt as always.
And the comments are just pathetic.
And if you say anything positive about the comic, you're automatically soundmonkey44, a hasbro shill and a shiteater. And when you disagree, you're automatically a samefag who should be ridiculed. Anything you say is damage control and can never be an honest opinion, cause you're opinion a shit.
> "Lol I can be a complete mean cunt if I want to, lol I surely showed them!"
> Ew, 4chan and /mlp/? They are so mean, you should't go there, they are all cunts!"
You can say positive things when the comic is great.
Despite /mlp/'s hate against Price and Cook, the locals still will agree that Rarity's micro and Big mac's gazebo arc were the best oficcial comics ever made.
But butting in to say that a piece of shit is great, and splitting hairs to rationalize shit as good? Yeah, definitely shilling no matter how mad you get.
>You can say positive things when the comic is great.
You can also say positive things when the comic ISN'T great but also isn't offensively bad. This is where subjective opinion comes into place.
Eh, this was probably the definition of hit or miss when it comes to a comic. Sometimes the art is cute, but it also has the moments of just oh god. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't think it was great.
Things aren't "partially" anything, things are either good or bad.
So you can take your "It wasn't great but the bad parts weren't so bad so it was actually great" mental gym back to the round stable, IDW boards, equestria Daily, Bronybooru or wherever you came from.
Good quality and bad quality speak for themselves.
I THINK I HEARD SOMEONE SAY WONDERBOLTS
I really like this artstyle, I feel like it would look really smooth animated. It's a lot curvier and has a better flow than the usual FIM style, and gives all of the characters a better range of expression. Also, the story was p good, not too terrible for anyone. easily 7/10.
>People once thought Cook/Price was better than the show FYI.
Yeah, this is true.
They thought they were better than the show.
Keyword: were, as in "not anymore"
Anything they made after the gazebo arc varied from mediocre to just plain shit.
But before of it? Genuinely great stuff, and one of the reasons why they are so hated now.
We already know they are capable to do awesome stuff... when they want to.
soo... rainbow dash make a tornado?
>nobody remember lightning dust fiasco in wonderbolts academy
It´s okay when rainbow dash does it... i guess
>Rainbow Dash sends a deadly tornado against a building full of children who can barely fly.
> Rainbow Dash can teach some random kids to fly, Scootaloo spends lots of time with her but she's is still neglected.
YAAAY BEST COMEEC EBER
They could be better easily. I'm sure not everyone is a fan of it, but I do wish IDW would take the same polices as DC does when it comes to editing and all that. When there's a massive fucking trainwreck like Superman Grounded, they stop that shit so it won't waste anymore time.
>Well... it's kinda obvious who were the real readers and who are the samefag shills desperately trying to apply damage control.
All well and good but you forgot a key, third demographic
The people who will call everything shit and not following up with genuine critique.
Don't assume everyone being negative is doing so to be inciteful. More often than not they are even more kneejerky than the people going all out to defend it.
I gotta ask.
What do you guys like about the comics, is it just because its pony's doing pony things or is there something else.
I actually bought some of the comics but just didn't get the appeal.
D-D-D-DID SOMEO-O-O-ONE SAY W-W-W-WOND-D-DERB-B-B-BOLTS?!
But this is just proving her right.
I'm not saying that reflection wasn't shit but you'd be hypocritical to not call 4chan a shithole.
We're full of hypocritical jerks who can't really do a good justice over someone jerkiness, just look at how we call Rarity a whore and Dash a cunt.
The fact that this guy call her a cunt just for doing a jab at us is almost validating her recursively.
When I did buy them, I bought them because they were simple adventures or tried to help characters that I feel didn't get as much attention as they should. Like the Rarity micro, it wasn't trying to be deep or some shit. It was just a really fun comic to read. Then there's the Nightmarity arc, which has that part with Spike that is probably one of my favorite moments in the overall franchise.
I've only made like two or three posts at the IDW forums when I feel like something needed to be said.
Same reason as I like the show, cute ponies doing cute things. Meta drama and some issues that really seem to get on /mlp/'s nerves don't bother me as much, but I try and stay aware of the comic's shortcoming's. I've skipped out on a bunch of physicals I didn't like after storytiming them, but tend to like the ones I bought a little more after reading them away from here.
Oddly enough the same seems to happen if I dislike an episode first time around in the stream and watch it later on the iTunes rip.
These comics were shitty, but I hope we will see this Universe again, in it's current state without Mary Sombra, Edgelestia and BDSMLuna, with the MirrorMane six as the main antagonists or an interdimensional war. Honestly, this steaming pile of crap was promising.
>Then there's the Nightmarity arc, which has that part with Spike that is probably one of my favorite moments in the overall franchise.
Spike really shines in these comics when done well. FF#3 is another example that took me by surprise. It's an example of a Spike I doubt we'll ever see on the show.
One thing that's great about /mlp/ is that you can spek your mind here, no matter if you are a normal person or a shill.
The Round Stable has rules that forbid any opinion that doesn't suit their own, and all posts are reviewed by one of it's femnazi mods for approval before it could get posted.
if they don't like your opinion they will not let you post it, and if you don't learn to accept their opinion as the only correct truth, they will ban you.
Meanwhile at /mlp/ you can shill and be an annoying shiteater if you want to, and while you will be called names for it, at least you still can post whatever dumb opinion you want.
Say what you want, but I admit it was Reflections that hit the final nail in the coffin for the comics to me. I had enjoyed all of Cook and Price's work up until that point, I think the Luna Micro was the last thing before that arc was published that they had worked on, and I loved it. When this arc released it's second issue, it became clear they really didn't give a shit about learning from their mistakes, couldn't breath air outside their comfort zone and where confirmed to be as biased as many speculated them to be. And also this arc revealed Bobby Curnow's amazing unproffesionalism, the Ted Anderson shit cemented it.
So, why give a shit about something the people behind it are not really putting the best effort behind for. Specially when it shows in their work.
Outside of here I sometimes pop up on Roundstable and the IDW forums and post what I found enjoyable and what wasn't enjoyable from an issue. But regardless of all the samefaggotry and hasdroning accusations that now plague this threads outside the occasional shipping infestations, this remains the best place to discuss the comics IMO.
Better. Comics would either die or become decent again. Bobby feels like that useless rock that is somehow keeping a building from falling. Either a cement block appears that will keep it steady, or they'll put a twig that will instantly snap in its place. Or another rock
There's a couple of people that pop up on IDW aside from me that actually bring up pretty good arguments and critics against the comics once in a while. Anyone with reason who posts on RoundStable usually gets ignored or attacked though. I post regardless, but have never been attacked. Guess I posts for the sake of there being some proof of a sound mind around there.
Who knows, probably. I get a feeling of ego inflation after the Big Mac arc. I had met Andy at Unicon and he was pretty down to earth. Saw him again at BronyCon later that year with Katie and they both felt like they had their heads in the clouds.
>Did they just get too comfortable with themselves
They're also experts at turning a blind eye towards critique, I doubt shiteaters even played a significant role, it doesn't matter if they're 1/1000 or 1/10 of the readers, since they ignore everyone else.
But mostly they got too full of themselves, take for example such a simple thing as the Observer that Price draws in the background, he started off as a silhouette, then a pony in a crowd, then he was in the front-row all of a sudden during Luna micro IIRC, and in reflections he's given him a speaking role and put him on the cover. They've lost focus of the pony they're supposed to be doing, and are instead doing their own form of referential circlejerking.
I guess another thing is that people were OK with their misrepresentation of for example Pinkie and especially RD in favor of AJ and Rarity, thinking it was either a one-time thing or an accident, thinking their time would come eventually. Things never changed though, and they're still shitting on Dash as much as they can, and grabbing any AJ or Rarity issue they can, it's no wonder people are getting fed up.
I only saw heavy Mod shooting activity during the Ted Anderson shit. Reflections Opinions where allowed to go wild, until Bobby decided to go unprofessional and try damage control.
Not a great story, but cute none the less. It's a mini series comic anyways, so I never held it up to ground-breaking high standards.
7/10 Art is cute. Could have used more inspired or creative backgrounds.
>IDW forums have some heavy posters that try to shoot down any criticism at all.
Soundmonkey44 (who is a SJW and fenmazi wannabe) and The Illustrious Q, who works for EqD and thinks of himself as horsefamous because he runs some interviews.
>And when you argue with them the mods threaten you.
This, too. The above menctioned people can troll and insult everyone as much as they want and the local mod will never do anything to them.
How much do you think this issue will sell?
Around the 15,000 or 16,000 mark?
>tfw its either "THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH IT GODAMN IT ITS LITERALLY FLAWLESS or "ITS SO FUCKING SHIT I HATE PONIES SO MUCH EVERYONE WHO LIKES IT IS A SHILL"
I liked it, it has flaws, like all the comics do, but it was cute, didn't make Dash top cunt, and nothing within it made me look at it and think "holy fuck that makes me mad".
For me it was just average, wasn't adventurous enough to be great, but tame enough to not be shit.
Why does everyone have to have extremist opinions?
> "Baaaw! We can't say we like the comic because you guys automatically accuse us of being samefags, that's so unfair and immature!"
> "Whoever says anything not nice about the comic and the staff is automatically murrison samefagging! This is truth, mature and absolute, period!"
You poor fuckers are so pathetic.
>Go away and die forever for liking what I don't like
Yeah, that is an example of an extremist opinion. Whats your point?
Even still, 8 is generous. I'd have said 6.3/10.
Are opinions that aren't polarizingly black and white your trigger?
Don't give a shit about the comic criticismù, in afct i welcome it. I just wish internet ego drama would stay out of these threads.
>boohoo these shills on another forum who wouldn't even touch /mlp/ with a ten foot pole got me banned
>Are opinions that aren't polarizingly black and white your trigger?
And are opinions that don't have any room to be twisted into more favorable ones your own trigger?
Yeah that must be why I gave it a 6/10.
The only thing I can't take is your sperging out at anybody who doesn't outright call it turbo garbage.
I found it stale and unoriginal, but cute and non character destroying enough to be classed as decent.
Sorry that my opinion wasnt EPIC RAGE enough for you.
>And are opinions that don't have any room to be twisted into more favorable ones your own trigger?
Theres a difference between an opinion and critique. Critique is meant to weigh up pros and cons, opinions have room to be far less sophisticated.
As far as I've been able to tell, most people here have been classing their views on it as "critique", when all they said was "ITS SHIT!!!"
People have to be more articulated if they want to be taken seriously.
4chan isn't a single entity or a hive mind retard. It is a large amount of people with differing opinions.
Also how the fuck is thinking RD is a cunt and Rarity is a whore hypocritical?
>"If the biggest complaint you can muster is that the background didn't accurately portray the show's style closely enough, then I think it's probably a pretty good issue."
I'm pretty sure that Rainbow Dash sending a deadly TORNADO against a building full of children isn't exactly great writing.
Somebody post that at the Round Corral thread to see how they rationalize it as something cute and create a giant gray zone to avoid anything bad relationed with such irresponsible action.
I guess the difference is that this was a small, "safe" tornado (that took RD 10 minutes to whip up), while the one in WA took the combined effort of RD and Thundercunt and then spiraled out of control because they pushed too hard. Small fire in your backyard VS setting your house on fire. It actually wouldn't surprise me if that was the artist's reasoning for a heavy brick house instead of the pillars and arches the lore dictates.
Heather Breckel playing damage control after not even faggots like soundmonkey can keep pretending the sales drop aren't happening.
That unintentionally hilarious "baaaw" was the only highlight of an otherwise drab, predictable comic.
What a shame.
The quality has been dropping by leaps, both on the visual and story areas.
Rather than attempting to fix the problem, she's trying to convince everyone that this is normal and even gives an absurdly huge loses margin to pretend there's nothing to be worried about.
Why the fuck they should be happy with selling 15,000 comics when last year they were selling almost twice as that?
>dislike the site.
Please, most of the time at least there's a decent discussion, and a lot of the comic is too blame, but there's some visible samefags here that throw shit everywhere for no reason.
>Well, if the comic was actually good, I doubt there'd be that much shit to throw.
Less than a year ago this place barely could find any shit to throw at the comic.
"Rushed ending" was the closest thing one could find here to resemble a negative opinion.
Really cute comic. And both Dash and Spitfire (who's apparently a puppy now) were shown in a positive light. Shame about non-canon Wonderbolts but for a FF comic it's really good.
Curnow strongly defended it and got very angry when people asked him why the fuck such a shit comic got approved in the first place.
His butthurt reply was basically sperg out and complein because people was >implying he wasn't doing a good editor job.
10 months later we already know he isn't even doing his job, period.
Oh it's real. It's too fucking real. It is rated the same as Reflections for me because it didn't waste four months.
In the context of IDW's other comics, even with greatly reduced sales relative to launch, My Little Pony is still in the top rankings of sales for the company. Breckel is giving a baseline target because it would have to significantly underperform other IDW titles to warrant the axe.
Walking Dead isn't capeshit. Sure it has a tv show, but this does too. It's not like they advertise their comics either. I would say quite a bit of the fanbase for walking is more around the show or even the videogames now. I wouldn't consider Saga or quite a few things by Image capeshit and they still do well.
>Better than Transformer
>Better than doctor who(RIP license)
>Better than TMNT
>Better than walking dead
MLP is actualy the worst comic in term of quality writing and art in the IDW family.
What kind of art do you want for that though.
I mean, if you don't like this cartoony, you must like price then, no? It can't be more realistic than that or it'll fall in another kind of ugly.
Sortof this, I wish they had a year long, big adventure thing where all the ponies (including unicorn twilight) helps against a big big actual villain, like capeshit, but it won't happen.
It's been a while since I read their Samurai jack or Godzilla comic, not to mention TF, but they do have some talented people, who are fans. With ponies they have troubles finding these people. It's like they don't have a plan for them. Maybe 5-part stories would be enough? I don't know. And I liked the newest FF and I think they do have people, who can deliver like Nuhfer (Cook and Price are too narrow as we can see with their every comic).
> year longs big adventure
> all the ponies
> (including unicorn twilight)
> against a big big actual villain
Welcome to the new age of the comics, only shorts arc alloweb. If you want something like that read DC or Marvel comic or a manga, not a comic for girls
One-issue arcs are slow death for them. The point is to atract the reader with something big and don't let go until the final issue. That's why we have cliffnahgers. I guess smaller stories can go to FF but what about the ongoing? I don't even know what's coming. The two series just kinda blend together now. What were the first two arcs too exhausting?
First two four parters were kind of a big way to celebrate the start of the comics. They do four parters more sparingly due to writers not always having ideas meant for four issues, and IDW wants to use four parters sparingly, like how each season only has one or two two parters.
If anything, he always wants to have the last word and if he can throw some veiled insults to the mix, better.
Actually, the way as they have handled bigger story arcs lately is Curnow's cue to hire better, more competent writers.
Katie Cook is living off her past decent stories as for now and she already made very clear how she has no intention to ever step outside of her safety zone, so all of her future stories will be nothing but minor variations of the same old formula..
It's funny how that faggot breaks practically all of that place's rules but they enable his bad behaviour because they are all femnazist imbeciles there.
+No reference jokes/popular background pony cameos/pony versions of famous characters
+No blatant references to recent cartoon episodes to look cool
+Art is weird, but kinda cute
- Boring, predictable story. (No twists at all.)
- Rainbow Dash sending a poweful tornado against a room full of kids
- Continuity issues- is Rainbow Dash a Wonderbolt now?
- Lazy art- They go from an american street to lock themselves inside of a plain brick room and there's some generic sky panels now and then.
4/10 and I'm generous.
>- Rainbow Dash sending a poweful tornado against a room full of kids
You don't really know if she was directing it at them, maybe it was just standing there.
But yeah, kinda underexplained.
>Continuity issues- is Rainbow Dash a Wonderbolt now?
Obviously the teacher meant spitfire, not Dash, Dash herself ask why she doesn't ask real wonderbolts, so no, reading comprehension guys.
Nah, just hypocrytes.
They only respect the rules whenever they can use them to fuckup someone disgreeing with them.
And remember, this is the one and only place where the comic staff goes for criticism, praises and asslicks.
It's really obvious they come here, but they also really don't want to come here too. I'm guessing because how I guess, "unstable," it is for them. They don't have themselves or anyone they trust to control parts that they do and don't like.
Seeing how often that murrison's name is thrown around, it's very obvious that yes, they do frequent this place a lot, al least soundmonkey and atticon.
Several of the bullshit excuses used to defend the comic also match the ones used at TRC.
> Buh-buh muh opinion is the only impotant one...
Seriously, go back to whatever echo chamber you came from if you can't handle people calling you out on your bullshit.
> NO U! argument.

Boy I do LOVE this individual posters watcher.
> Murrison: Over the top angry guy who has managed to get juicy info from the staff, even making the co-director admit that nobody should trust what they promise.
> Soundmonkey, who is currently posting here: Cocksucker, troll and damage controling sperg who does it for free.
At least Murrison has been useful for something.
The writing was decent enough and the art style was pretty cute if a tad obnoxious, but I really wish this guy had done some research. The architecture is generic and literally every pony besides Spitfire and RD was an OC. At least there wasn't a glut of distracting references but even the Wonderbolts were unrecognizable.
>> Murrison: Over the top angry guy who has managed to get juicy info from the staff, even making the co-director admit that nobody should trust what they promise.
Wait what the fuck?
Is there a story on this?
Even the members of the staff seem to vaguely agree with him, only God knows WHY.
Well, tis faggot is confirmed for another issue so expect more crappy, generic backgrounds.
I'm pretty sure she still has the right to not follow orders she considers immoral
or illegal as people prefer to call themSpitfire is out of luck. No wonder she never gets any.
I wonder if Miller got assfucked by Hasbro's execs after saying this.
This, this so much.
Even more so with shit like EqG, the board is bogged down with that bland bullshit now.
The second we decided that putting up with McCarthy and Hasbro's shit wasn't the worst thing the Hasdrones saw the golden opportunity and embedded themselves here.
The EqG Christmas thing had better be the last. Otherwise IDW both hires bigots AND are liars.
And no, telling him to stop won't make him stop. People want him fired like IDW said he would be.
How many comics do you think keep the same amount of sales after their second year?
What we're seeing now is just a leveling out of sales to a core demographic of fans who will stick with the franchise now that the fad is mostly gone. MLP:FiM peaked at the end of S2, shortly after which #1 was released.
It's not just the comics, it's the entire fandom, and blaming it solely on a perceived drop in quality seems a bit too easy and convenient.
>Otherwise IDW both hires bigots AND are liars
>IDW forum don`t replie about the ted anderson situation
>Ted look normal about this issues
>TRS forum don`t give a shit about this becase the staff probably confirm the situation via PM to the mods
Inb4 Ted Still work in the comic
They are also getting far fewer. Rather than a myriad of little cons we get the few big ones which cater to the core of the fandom, the people who would actually travell far and spend a lot of money to attend these big conventions.
I really don't think it's gotten that bad. I really don't. It actually seems a bit like the S1 & 2 vs S3 & 3 thing. Seems to me a lot of people are looking abck on the first year of the comics through nostalgia goggles, back when it was new and exciting and Price was a hero.
Maybe people are just missing Nuhfer/Mebberson combos, but she's coming back soon. Shame Bates is out of the picture for good though.
Not many comics, and not many shows either, you're right on that.
But just to correct a minor error, MLP:FiM has grown every quarter since inception pretty much regardless of what you look at.
>Implying it's not the opposite.
She has to become the supreme carpet muncher to get it.
The first EqG was pretty much dead on this board save one general when another was announced.
Funny how all of a sudden so many posts that were hyping it appeared, despite the shitshow that was the first one.
I'm not going to deal with brony Hasdrone shills and marketers just because they've been here a fee months.
I've been here longer.
We should take cosnistent mainstream popularity with the original target audience into account though. Those will still boost ratings of the show, and toy sales.
The comics however, even though there's reports that they're popular with children too, are largely a product catering to the fandom. Their sales are going down. Fan projects and production of quality fanart is at an all time low. Cons are disappearing or congealing into few big ones.
Might be we get a revivial once we get out of the longest hiatus yet, but I wouldn't count on it.
Come on, don't appear so /v/tarded.
The only reason it got more popular is because of the waifu material of the Dazzlings and sunset, which is why it's still talked about still.
This makes me want a story about RD trying to convince Spitfire to have a threesome with her and Loop. She gives in to Dash when she says it will help improve her interaction with kids in the future.
It's essentially marketing without being paid. Besides, those are not /mlp/ waifus.
Not even /co/ would accept that trash.
Only a true newfag would even think that human universe bullshit is okay.
It's like they took the most autistic fan fiction they could find and made a movie out of it.
I hope your trips confirm that as what will happen.
But I have a feeling that if S5 is bad at all there will be more marketers than ever.
Throw in Scootaloo for a foursome while you're at it, Dash has to make up for pushing her mail-delivery job on her, right? Scootaloo could help convince Loop, since Scoots wouldn't take much convincing (if all else fail, tell her she might get her cutie mark)
See right here, you're the trash.
You should go to MLPG, you're like them.
See , I don't even like RR, but I always enjoyed humanized and I can see the waifu potential behind the dazzlings, sorry if it's too much for your little brain because >no hooves.
Almost every case is debatable including Rainbow's. She doesn't have any female crushes but that doesn't mean she's asexual.
Perhaps she's afraid of it? It would make a good story. I mean not afraid that she doesn't have a preference but she's afraid of romance.
If you ever enjoyed humanized, why are you so upset I was talking shit on anthro material.
/mlpg/ is also trash, generals were killing this board before EqG. Too bad EqG spawned more generals and even more trash threads. It isn't /mlp/.
/mlp/ does not have anthro or humanized waifus.
Rainbow Dash's assertive personality makes it look like she wants to violently tongue everything she looks at.
>I'm talking fanon of course.
Thanks for clarifying. I wouldn't want this to become another one of /those/ threads.
Dash was sweet as a candy and Spitfire is not a bitch but a cute, guilty puppy. I agree that there's a lot of potential for more. Not necessarily romantic but we just need more Wonderbolts. Future writers better learn about canon Wonderbolts. There's only 11 of them.
>/mlp/ does not have waifus.
There, I fixed it for you. Waifufaggotry is some autistic meme that spread over from /a/ in the early days of the board, it was of course a joke to begin with, but as always happens when autists find something autistic, they cling to it as if it was real.
he wasn't very amused when murrison did this.
I haven't been keeping up with all the comics, but holy shit I'm really glad I never read that one. Also, why does it seem that most of the comics with Dash as the center of attention look like shit?
>a nor/mlp/erson cannot find the human figure erotic
>yet there are multiple EqG threads up to the contrary
how's that denial working up for you?
Cook and Price only write about a handful of characters they like. They don't like Dash.
Nuhfer ofter writes stories with Dash having an important role. They're good even if Dash is a little bit crazy in them.
Today's comic is good. I think Trixie/Dash one is not horrible but forgettable.
It's simple: they are not nor/mlp/eople.
Do you think that the Mudslimes taking over England are English?
Do you think that undocumented Mexican immigrants are U.S. citizens?
They are clearly not from here, I would imagine that they are either Ponychan remnants or sliding Has drones and other assorted shills.
