Pinkie being a pushover is now canon.
>not realizing that's a royal guard costume
Fucks sake, all of you.
It's a cartoon gag
None of it is real, the writer can do whatever they want and it's very unlikely we're going to see the 80's or ancient rome/greece in the show because they suck at writing anything that requires accuracy and consistancy
Already canon with Cheerilee in Call of the Cutie.
Looks like a Pegasi guard's outfit, similar to Commander Hurricane's. As Twilight likes history, makes sense.
Humans have thought about going into space and have been writing science fiction for centuries. Ponies can do the same.
Also Luna did go to space.
Please tell me I'm not crazy. Surely you recognize this.
This is all just silly stuff from Lyra's story books.
so I guess that would make her Twilight Spar
Guys, why is one part of this colored differently than the rest?
Because there's daring do there, ya fucknugget. You know, the character in the book that was in that one episode. You know, that one encouraging kids to read? Where an empty hospital bed reads a book.
nigga where you been
80's have been canon since season one
or maybe all those things are just fictional stories in their world, like, it's not like vampires are real in our world just because some people dress up as them during halloween, right?
She's actually doing a damn-near perfect costume for whatever the Pegasus equivalent of Athena is- so ancient Greek (Pony version) in this case. It's a nice nod- both of them have an owl familiar, are winged versions of their original species (Athena is often portrayed as a winged human, Twilight is a now-winged unicorn), and both are considered aspects of wisdom and knowledge.
As for the 1980's bit, you've got a DYEWTS moment thanks to Cheerilee.
DYEWTS = Do you even watch the show
He said this because Cheerilee shows a photo of herself from when she was younger and she was all dressed up in 80s clothes.
SDEWTS = Someone doesn't even watch the show.
>not understanding one of the most common acronyms on /mlp/
Lurk moar indeed.
It's short for "Do You Even Watch The Show", used for when someone has missed a show reference and hence makes an incorrect comment on canonical things.
What do you mean? That she was unique in her 80ness? Maybe it's how the "rebel" youngins dressed? So still 80s but less widespread?
I don't see how you came to that conclusion.
