This board is obviously not for fans that are of the Target Demographic, so why does this board exist?
I would think Hasbro would take down all the adult ponysites like Derpibooru and /mlp.
Is that so? So bronies have destroyed the pony franchise huh?
I mean, technically its destroyed, since what it originally was for is now more for adults.
Seems like a sick thing to do.
There's also the the fact that there's more little girl pony fans out there than bronies. The average brony probably spends more on pone individually, but little girls are more profitable due to their sheer numbers.
>there's more little girl pony fans out there than bronies
I thought so too, but after seeing brony conventions and a variety of kid schools, I don't think there's alot of kids who is a fan of MLP. They just watch it, but not a fan of it, considering they don't even fully understans the concept. They still prefer their human barbie dolls.
Bronies still spends a tad more towards ponies and it goes as far as to the point where a company made a 3d printed pony toys to sell to places where only fans would seem to know about, and their homepage has a big link that leads to just for those toys.
Knowing that bronies are more influencial, I'd say there's more bronies that is a fan of MLP, than little girls who consider themselves a fan and not just watching it because it's what's on tv.
Yeah...I guess Hasbro should shut down Botcon too huh, because Transformers is for kids not adults yet only long haired fat guys attend it
That isn't how it works, and in any case I'm pretty sure the intention of FIM was to broaden the audience or at the very least make it credible
First of all, discussing a show any why anyone likes it doesn't infringe on Hasbro's copyright, it is freedom of speech.
Second. No matter what, you can aim for the moon and end up with mars. In other words you can not always expect when dealing with marketing, creating and displaying your art that your intended audience will be the only audience. We live in a digital age where people more than ever are connected but just a mouse and keyboard. This was no where near as prevalent in the 80's or 90's as it is today. Instead of thinking like Notch (Im too scared of making games that make it big) Embrace it, Accept it, and be proud that you created something that brings joy to may people around the world. Not many can say that. And this speaks for any artist or creator.
well, NICI is in germany and made some pretty good plushes
>so why does this board exist?
Because we used to talk about the show on /co/, but then /b/-tards spammed every thread with pony stuff until the rest of the site couldn't take it, so Moot exiled us to the pink pony ghetto of /mlp/.
That's pretty much it.
