I'm broke, living in my mom's basement, ripped out a good portion of my hair, realized all my friends are shitty people that make me miserable, and have considered suicide for the past 2 months but can't bring myself to it.
Dubs decide which genre of music I throw myself into and base the rest of my life around. Weeb shit will be ignored, everything else is a go.
Artists whose worst album is still pretty good.
INB4 Random Access Memories is their worst.
what do retarded lookin niggas listen to?
ITT great albums with absolutely terrible album art.
5/10, instrumentals really good, but the singer sounds like he wants to die.
Now that the dust has settled, is this AOTY?
IF YOU DO
ENJOY (RESPECT, VEHEMENTLY ADMIRE)
THESE MUSICAL ENDEAVORS [RECORDINGS]
What the FUCK was his problem?
Never see mu talk about this album. Thoughts?
Hi /mu/, I never do this but.
I'm trying to find some albums with aggressive rock/punk chord progresion/riff based with catchy pop melodies influences.
It will sound pleb but a example of what I'm trying to find is nirvana, I tried with "grunge" but all I hear is boring and also with pop punk but is all so bad songwrited.
Please help me /mu/
Nirvana only did that with Nevermind, which happens to be their worst album. You won't find anything like it unless you find a band that doesn't want to be pop, but was forced to by their producers.
Clip Art Edition
I've always wanted to learn how to play an instrument, but never really knew how to begin. I'm 19 and have a lot of free time. What should I learn and where should I start?
Piano. The piano is the most important instrument and the best instrument for compositional work. The piano is also the foundation of musical knowledge. Most proffesional musicians know how to play the piano at least a little bit.
Need a good pair of headphones for under $200. What does /mu/ recommend?
was this the most forgettable album of 2016?
So /mu/, are you a rockist? If so, why?
What are /mu/'s thoughts on this album?
Ive decided to leave 4chan for the rest of the year, post all albums should I download for once I leave. (you can come too if you want)
Is Tim Hecker truly the end of the journey? Tell me I haven't reached the end.
What does /mu/ think of the new Billy Talent so far?
It seems pretty edgy to me but this song is cool.
WISH WE COULD TURN BACK TIME
Anybody given it a full listen yet? IMO, not as good as the first album, but after waiting 15(!) years for the followup, and not disappointed. Really, really solid album.
>tfw you listen to the Aquabats for the first time and you unironically like them
I thought Ska was shit but maybe I've grown up enough to like it instead of being too pretentious to accept it.
Does anyone else here know what I'm talking about?
Kendrick Lamar is consistently praised for his* music, especially To Pimp A Butterfly. However, Kendrick does not compose or play his own music. The only thing Kendrick does is write the lyrics, which are usually stupid and about imaginary racial oppression in America, and say the lyrics, but he's not a very good vocalist. He still credits himself as "Primary Artist", though, despite not doing any heavy-lifting, for lack of a better term, for his album. *Only his under name, not under work.
what did he mean by this?
What went wrong, /mu/?
What's some of the worst fucking music you've ever heard?
This feels like an assault. It's just completely putrid, and the fact that it sets out to be entertaining makes it even worse. I also hate the way he says "Kaahnyaahdyaaah."
more stuff with this kind of vibe?
MU JUST RELEASED AN ALBUM
Its actually decent desu.
