why do they deserve more recognition? the only one who was even a little unique or uniquely good was i tried to run away when i was 6. I'd be able to appreciate this list a little more if you at least wrote something about each of the acts and what unique niche each of them are filling.

Recently I've been obsessed with
"My Boy Builds Coffins".
I really enjoy the songs that are very narrative driven.
"Bird Song" is another one.
Both are pretty morbid.. but like in a beautiful way.
The year is nearly over, /mu/tants. Time to recap all of the albums that fell short of meeting your expectations.
I guess the marketing premise was to have the perfect pop song be the single and then fuck up everything on the final release, including the single itself. Thanks a lot, Claire.
