Misunderstood genius or talentless hack?
Left or right?
Best live album of all time. Prove me wrong.
whats his best song senpai
>there are people on /mu/ who don't even know the difference between techno and house
ITT: post some of your favorite concept albums
I'M GONNA FIGHT 'EM OFF
A SEVEN SHITLORD ARMY COULDN'T HOLD ME BACK
THEIR GONNA TRIGGER IT ALL
TAKING THEIR TIME ON THEIR IMAGEBOARDS
AND I'M TALKING TO MY SAFE SPACE FRIENDS ONLINE
BECAUSE I CAN'T FORGET
BACK AND FORTH THROUGH MY MIND
BEHIND A HASHTAG
Why doesn't /mu/ ever talk about Slug Christ? His flow and beats are God-tier.
Hey, friendos, I'm looking for more music/artists to listen to, ones that I can listen to when dumping my anger on a deadlift. A song that comes to mind is Montana of 300's remix of Chiraq: https://youtu.be/BrFjcG80v94
I also liked Flockaveli, although it was redundant. I'm down for any angry music, but I'm looking for rappers for the most part. Pointers?
Wtf happened to pitchfork? I used to love then and now they give second rate Gucci Mane ripoffs a best new music
why does Pitchfork give an obligatory 5 points to every single fucking rap album?
Do they really only like rap and post rock?
It's embarrassing this site even exists.
Post whatever you love that was released this year so far. 3x3's, 4x4's, hell... even 2x2's are welcome. Just give me some recs so I can find one that tops my choices so far.
Deakin currently has my favorite release of the year.
Blackstar, Suuns, and SoC are partially filler on my list, but they're still great.
What does /mum/ think of skramz?
Public Strain general
last one's about to die. Rate, rec, assumptions, all the usual collage thread activities
do you like cassetteboy
neither of these are 4x4 you fucking mongrels
let me show you how it's done jesus
What are some contemporary bands that sound like Weird Fishes, Jigsaw, or Bodysnatchers? I'm a fan of the spacey, krautrock sound on these, and the distorted guitars on Bodysnatchers.
In 2285, the northeastern region of the United States has turned into a dystopia ruled by the oppressive Great Northern Empire of the Americas. The only resemblance to entertainment that exists is the electronic noise of the Noise Machines (NOMACs). The empire is ruled by Emperor Nafaryus, Empress Arabelle, Crown Prince Daryus, and Princess Faythe. In a distant village called Ravenskill, a man named Gabriel possesses the natural ability to make music and sing ("The Gift of Music")
Post the adjectives for your ideal album and rate taste/give recs
you're asking for a lot there
if you didn't post fun i'd say KID A,
maybe you'd like air - pocket symphony (?)
personally I want king crimson - red combined with any other genre (have already tried merkabah)
if anyone can rec that
>We translate Japanese to English, and English to Japanese
>I drank so much tea I wrote my letters in Kanji
Was Mark, one of the greatest musicians alive, a Weeb?
Favorite Henry Rollins song?
We need more voices like him in music. This is important.
Today, I listened to this album the fourth time. It still doesn't click. Why does it get so much praise?
fuck this band
>slowly growing out of music
the 32 year old curse is real guys.
It's hard to listen to attractive people a decade younger than you living their dream and having fun when youre 32 and past peak
It makes sense
So you just stick with music of people who are now around your age or older
Just listened to this and holy shit. Why is it never talked about on here? Thought it was top 5 AnCo related project atleast, and any other less known God tier AnCo?
It's one of my favorites, yeah. Laughing Hieroglyphic is a 10/10 song.
>less known God tier AnCo
I'd say that's
-Animal Crack Box
-Panda Bear debut album
-2002 Live show from Tonic, NY
The Padington Band EP is also worth listening to, if only for the novelty of it.
ODDSAC for sure, you don't have to watch the movie but you can if you want to.
The unreversed version of Pullhair Rubeye.
New Psycho Actives Vol. 1, which they released on their soundcloud last year, is better than Painting with
Thanks guys will be checking these out, seeing as y'all are big AnCo fans i imagine y'all are beach boys fans too? and if so what are must listen to album of theirs other than smile and pet sounds
What did he mean by this cover?
ITT: post your favorite OST
I seem to see more love for this album than Jenny Death here, and it seems one of the most popular DG albums. Why? It just seems to me like they're trying too hard to be weirder and edgier than before, but the music has so little momentum or power or nastiness or catchiness than any of their other albums. Am I not getting it, or do you all just act like this is their best because it's one of their least accessible or mainstream sounding?
How much would you pay for this?
>Negativland, not Lieber Honig
>The End, not Alabama Song
>Moon in June, not something from Banana Moon
>Sad eyed lady, not Ballad Of A Thin Man
>Saucerful of Secrets, not AHM Suite
>ITCOTCK, not Starless
>Fucking Sister Ray of all songs, not Venus In Furs
Why does /mu/ take him seriously again?
