My mom's dying. she's very young and I'm very young. Cancer everywhere.
I was wondering if any specific songs or albums could help, since I've always used music to get through things.

/mu/'s thoughts on rush?
This is the most boring album I've listened to. Complete shit.
Why do Pitchfork, Fantano, and /mu/ reward mediocrity? Why do people praise an album so boring and uninteresting?
Does anyone know anything about this guitar? It is a blueridge BR-0. It plays well, but I'd like to get any information on them and possibly a value for it.
How good were The Pixies /mu/? I feel like they were essential on the same level as Nirvana, if not even greater. Btw what's your favorite Pixies song?
What are the best folk albums of the last sixteen years?

hey /mu/. I've been trying to build up my reaction image folder. Post an album rating, and use reaction images to respond to other's ratings. I'll start.
Songs From the Big Chair by Tears for Fears
What about gems that /mu/ never talk about? Here is this rare 1983 gem that /mu/ never talks about. Great album! It's like if you put Grimes in the 80s haha. It's Japanese.
But no, let's talk about P4K/Fantano/RYM approved cool bands, and not real cool bands.
Not OP here!
Great Album, here's another Great Album. It's called Black Monk Time by The Monks. I hate punk music, but this is proto-punk from 1966. That's the same year as Revolver! only twice as underground, and just as cool and fun.
Fantano mentioned it, but I liked it before Fantango did. Or not really, but SHUT UP!
Just passing by to this cool thread (not OP btw):
And sheeit, these songs can be dope. Thanks OP.
I'm going to enlighten you guys with this HiDdEn GeM. It's actually not that good. I don't really like it. But whatever! I don't know. Pretty much invented spoken word electronic (this isn't true by the way).
I'm absolutely obsessed with Pet Sounds recently. Which version of Smile should I listen to?
brian wilson presents smile if you want something that actually sounds like a cohesive album
smile sessions if you want something disjointed and steeped in mystery but also sounds just as fantastic as Pet Sounds
Okay /mu/. I've listened to so much different music I've forgotten what it's like to find new shit. All of the music services I use only give me music based on things I'd pick. I want things I've never heard of. Give me your 10/10s. Give me your best "I just found this" albums. Give me the music you wouldn't tell your friends you listen to. Give me music that less than five people know exists. Genre, style, year, I don't care. Anything. Please, and thank you.
Here's a recent favorite. I don't really like it past the first few songs, but they're so damn good it doesn't even matter. Apparently the vocals are really weird but it's still pretty accessible I think.
You know what he means.

What's the song you'll play?

Best music to smoke to?
/mu/, I ask this with complete sincerity: what is good music to listen to while tripping acid?
>in b4 whatever you usually listen to
I've tripped several times before and know the kind of music that goes with it best for me personally. Stuff like pic related: bouncy, bright, glitchy, psychedelic, electronic. The kind of stuff that lets you see colors spilling out of your speakers. Does anyone have any recommendations?
