Any more like this?
>Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me
Talk about Cardiacs like you did before /mu/ told you they were bad like we used to
What goes through your mind when you listen to Death Grips?
Really fantastic hour long song, one of the best black/thrash metal albums in general.
Also have a chart I made a few months ago
>top 5 rapper of the new generation
>two amazing albums and a decent third
>ugly as fuck but still with 10/10 women
>why is Earl not your hero?
Since practically no women listens to progressive rock, does that make it the manliest genre of rock?
I have heard many of the well know bands such as electric wizard, sleep and kyuss. An other suggestion?
Is this a good album?
Favorite female musicians? Pic related for me.
why didn't he review elseq 1-5?
>he watches fantano
>he listens to autismtechure
What are your most important/can't-do-without plugins/effects? Your "secret weapons"?
Pic related for DAW work, holy shit have I gotten reliant on this little $30 plugin so much. And the Komplete stuff, that's good too.
Also, the Glitchmachines plugins are relatively cheap and extremely useful. If you do electronic stuff, I would strongly recommend.
Regarding guitars, I like a variety of distortion effects, but Polytune is really where it's at.
I got this used at a local guitar store for about 30 dollars, and, personally, it's been my bread and butter ever since.
It's growing on me a lot, but then I never expected a SILY 2.0 as such. But i did expect great craftmanship and thought, and this album delivers.
I also like the fact that it's not obvious that they use hundreds of samples, it's more theme orientated as compared to the disco-hiphop mashup that was SILY.
whos better james Ferraro or Opn?
I'd been putting off listening to this record until now.
It's like TBK, except more amorphous and even more long-winded (well, it feels like that, anyway). What did you guys think of this? I personally prefer the other later Swans big-hitters, I think (TBK, SFTB, SAD especially). And the features on here (like the cello) I think added a nice new aspect to the band.
Also, did the Larkin Grimm stuff bother you? Personally, I wish there was closure to it, but the situation's kind of half-assed as it is, both sides have said some pretty heavy accusations....
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
For me, its as good if not better than TBK. It's more subtle, and the whole album feels a lot more consistent than TBK in terms of the feeling its going for. It required multiple listens for it to really settle with me though.
Best track: The Glowing Man (obviously)
Worst track (not meaning bad): People Like Us
And the Larkin bullshit? Didn't bother me at all, she's batshit insane and everyone knows it. The accusations are rubbish.
What do you think?
I HAVE A RIGHT TO BE DEPRESSED
What did they mean by this?
/mu/ thoughts on Joy Division?
ITT: Bands that never fail to make you happy.
They're really good. Both incredibly talented rappers. I got pretty sick of their songs after not too long, though.
Saw them live and they fuckin tore the roof off the place. Incredible showmen
Anybody here actually like Lou Reed's solo projects? There's more stinkers than good/great albums but I gotta say that Berlin and New York are solid 8/10 albums.
What was your AOTY of 2013, /mu/?
sunbather was bomb as fuck
Is this woman overrated?
How to spot if someone is new on /mu/
They post about The Smiths
They try using spoiler tags.
They ask for a link to download an album, and say "I checked the archive with no luck."
They legitimately like Death Grips and are yet to realize it's just a meme.
Good metal bands with female singers and no screams with some actual musicianship not just copy pasted shit.
