I thought I'd be so sad when I got to last track but instead I'm crying tears of bliss
This is such a masterfully curated piece of music holy shit
I just can't even conceive that something was able to live up to 16 years of hype like this
How do I sing? I fucking suck at singing because of my autistic voice.
in b4 this accidentally into a Grimes thread
>band has 7+7/7(3-8) drummers
Album covers that can be used as reaction images
I play guitar and I'm not that good, I can also kind of sing and that's about it. I have minimal music theory knowledge and don't know any songwriting algorithms.
Every time I try and come up with my own chord sequence or whatever I fucking give up just as I start. I feel like it's all been done before and that everything I could ever imagine is derivative and done before, I feel like any attempt at original artistic expression will ultimately come off as cheesy, tryhard or just laughable.
I envy artists who could just write great songs off...

What kind of music are you playing?
Also just shut up. Sounds like you're just making excuses for yourself. People put a lot of work into songs. It can take years. Forget your self loathing and just work at it or you'll never get the results you want. That's life.
I didn't even know this remater reissue existed until I saw it at my local store so I bought it! It sounds wonderful so far. What have you bought recently?
Just got you a 6 pack of bud. Stay in the game my man
What's his best album?
What's the best music player, /mu/?
ITT:God tier rap albums
Are there any other albums similar to pic related?
How is Pink Floys not /mu/core yet?
I feel it's time for a thread to save Rock & Roll. Get in here if you're not ready to see it die. Let's recall what went right/ where it went wrong, and chart a course for revival.
>some guy drunkposting about literally "saving rock & roll" with guitar and amp in hand
You're my favorite person on the entire board right now, but I'm still going to sage your shit thread
Post an album and genre, and person below posts reccomened album in that genre
This is not even me but damn.... can we talk about this single? Pretty damn amazing for something just pulled off of band camp.
What's your favorite genre?
How would you explain that genre to someone who only listens to mainstream music without sounding pretentious?
I like folk, but I can't seem to explain it to others without sounding whiny or elitist.
I am really beta and get really upset when I talk about folk, shoegaze, and dreampop and people start laughing at me like I'm emotionally stunted because I like sad sounding music. A lot of my classmates and co-workers mock me for the type of music I listen to. I like rap, rock, and pop music to, but when not much of the mainstream stuff and when I introduce them to my peers I get mocked again.
This album is actually really good
Prove me wrong
Albums that should be /mu/core
Isn't anybody going to check these trips?
What's the best Who album and why is it Sell Out?
I Can See For Miles is probably my favorite Who song but Who's Next has to be their best and most solid album. I mean, it's basically their greatest hits album.
Sell Out is still really good.
I'm just not feeling it
Hey /mu/, it's Ye. Ask me anything
How is Charli XCX viewed in the patrician scene?

An experiment in a pen-and-paper composing general, made for all the theory autists
This differs from /prod/ in that it is more focused on the actual writing of music, not the production, and music theory. That is not to say /prod/'s electronic music is unwelcome, by all means, post here! But post with the intent on discussing composition. And remember, this is NOT /classical/. Any music, such as jazz, is acceptable
Post clyps and accompanying notation so we can accurately critique your composing from a theory perspective

Let's talk equip and software for a moment.
What notation software do you use, have you used? Feel free to give a mini review.
What recording gear do you use to record your ideas or improvs?
used a DOS version way back, fairly clumsy back then.
>Score Perfect (not score!)
some german Software I used during high school, very very mouse based, but it had one thing going for itself: when you do multiple selects (ctrl select), and then copy paste, the notes...

What's some non-entry level noise?
Who else likes the vapeywaves?
Violator Vaporwave Remixes when?
I do, unironically.
Disconscious, Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza, Infinity Frequencies, LensCorp, DARKPYRAMID and stuff like that is some of the greatest music I've ever heard.
It's like a cum induced fever dream and I am all about cum induced fever dreams.
I really like the 90s, drum machine, sorta alternative dance kinda sound like Primal Scream, Happy Mondays, 808 state, and certain Jesus & Mary Chain stuff. Anybody got any recs for me?
/mu/'s thoughts on Electric Wizard?
Also general stoner doom metal thread I guess
Currently listening to their S/T for the first time. Come My Fanatics and Dopethrone are insane top shelf stoner/doom metal.
It's hard to say, but I think Come My Fanatics is better than Dopethrone. Wizard In Black and Doom Mantia are athems for life.
> I go broke rob fools for their jewelry
> Cops get away with murder
what did he mean by this?
he meant that he can make a mediocre g-funk album because all the teenagers that only listen to hip hop made after 2010 will not realize that he's ripping off dr. dre, tupac and every other west coast rapper from the 90s
Post what you're listening to , have other anons tell what you're like or recommend you something similar.
