The red pill could have saved Waldo Jeffers, that's all I'm saying.

Do you guys like Neurosis? Best album?
Best is Through Silver in Blood. Personal favorite is pic related.
Hey /mu/, I'm going to a concert on Friday but I want to try to look for a concert friend on Craigslist.
I wouldn't mind going alone but it'd be nice if I had a concert friend of some sort.
What do I do?
Like the other guy said just go alone it's seriously a non-issue. I don't understand how there are so many threads like these it's like you guys have never been outside before I mean jeez it's not like you're seeing a movie alone or something gross like that.
Best dadrock album?
Why is this not record talked about here more often? It was very boundary-pushing and unheard-of, especially in 1968. It used tape music, some kind of proto-noise, plunderphonics when they were uncommon, and, of course, experimental vocals from both John and Yoko. Yet it's dubbed as crap by most and largely ignored(at least on here).
What did you think of the record? Do you think it's really something worth talking about?
Give everyone the wrong idea of an artist, mu.
This board is getting stale at times.
Say artist's name like a sharethread, and link a song of theirs that sounds nothing like the rest of their works.

Pretty mediocre I guess, but not bad by any means
It's honestly okay that Dave will never make anything as good as he did from 1986-1992 because he wrote 3 GOAT metal albums including the pinnacle of thrash

Hey /mu/, I am currently a novice in music theory and am trying to better understand its history for the sake of a deeper appreciation.
I am trying to figure out exactly what constitutes a Sonata (not Sonata form) in Classical terminology (not romantic nor baroque).
From what I've gathered, it is a term applied to a multimovement work consisting of an instrumentalist or two, but never more than that.
Its movement structure usually follows an order of 4 movements, starting with sonata form.
My question is, how vital is the movement structure to the integrity...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Musicologists still debate how to define a sonata. It's never been settled and it probably never will. That said if you have the basic structure of exposition, development, and recapitulation, it probably counts.
>how vital is movement structure
Not very. Everyone fucked with the structure at least once or twice because there never really was a standardized structure.
Beethoven have wrote several 2 movement piano sonatas. Op. 111 and both Op. 49 ones cometo mind but I know there's another.
Mozart wrote a sonata that opens with theme and variation and doesn't have a sonata form. The one with Rondo alla turka
What are the best rap albums with no profanity?
Having a bit of an emotional breakdown, feeling a little mentally unstable, gonna have to make some huge changes to my life tomorrow. About to have a bunch of people be disappointed in me and probably pity me. Currently getting drunk and ignoring communication from loved ones, trying to have a bit of a good time in case I can't for a little while. Can yall rec some music for this feel?
Shit senpai, I hope everything gets better for you
Try the new Mock Orange album, "Put the Kid on the Sleepy Horse" good for meditating and just letting shit pass by, well that's how I see their music. It's folk rock.
Thanks for the rec, checking it out now. And I do think things will get better, I'm not depressed or anything. Just extremely anxious and not ready to ask for help even though I'm going to have to
