Post your recent genres on RYM; r8, h8, appreci8
You know the rules. Post your tunes, give feedback on soundcloud. If someone gives feedback on your shit, return the favor!
Haven't posted in one of these in a while, just uploaded an unfinished version of a track I'm working on. Let me know what ya think.
Do you guys like TWIABP? They recently came out with this, and wondered your thoughts on it.
I encourage everyone to listen and give feedback!

Question, when you guys see a few /mu/ core albums on someone's chart how does your perception of that person change?
I suppose it depends on which /mu/-core albums
Changes none, unless it's completely stuffed with them. I try to rec depending on the less popular albums I see on the chart
Another one of these. It was fun
Hey guys I just came over from /r9k/. Did you faggots really sperg out on a famous singer?
Is he the next kanye?
Get a real job... dude sounds like shit and looks like he's having a seizure when he "performs". Actually makes that idiot Kanye seem talented in comparison..... I'm guessing Kayne is the OP.
Oh, and sage.
post your top 5 albums and others guess what boards (besides /mu/) you browse
what is the best radiohead song in your opinion? mine goes to Codex or Lotus Flower
What's the worst classic you've listened to?
this just bored me tbf
It's just too bland for me. I liked their earlier stuff better.
Contains tracks 1-8 in high quality while the rest were ripped from the Russian stream. Zap! is also incomplete. I'm certain that some anons have the other songs so I have a feeling this could be fully completed tonight.
Wasn't happy with the going home rip so I found a better one in higher quality. I've been scavenging all the leaks and I managed to grab a shitty one. This one is way better, sorry anons.
Swans flowchart updated.
What does it mean?
Post your faves, discuss, whatever
Guitar is too hard, what are some easy instruments?
Post an album that sounds like its cover.
Discuss music, or don't
Who cares were all gonna die anyway
some people are dying differently than others
not good hope you're better
What's your AOTY, /mu/??
I TRIED SO HARD
Illmatic is a masterpiece there's no doubt about that. Do you think it actually hurt Nas's career that it was his first album? I find it quite sad that everything else he's ever dropped gets overlooked or compared to Illmatic.
It was Written, Stillmatic, God's Son, The Lost Tapes, Life is Good, I Am are all great albums
Can we have a David Bowie thread?
Her favorite filmmaker is Krzysztof Kieslowski and she loves The Residents and Milton Babbit. Your favorite movie is Pulp Fiction and you love The Strokes and Modest Mouse.
Does anybody know any albums that sound like vaporwave, but were made unironically?
What did mu thought of this movie ? Highly recommended if you haven´t seen it. What did you think about the music and the way it was made in this movie ?
Are there any music examples of product placement?
Like in the actual music, not the video or whatever
probably not what you mean
IT'S THE SMIIIIILE YOU CAN'T HIDE (in the back of your mind...)
>hard hitting beats
>noisy songs that are undeniably catchy at their core
>features some of the best vocal performances of their discography
>that fucking ENERGY
so the people who dislike this just hate fun, right?
I think the people who don't like it are probably just missing those long, aching songs that really take one idea or concept and explore them fully, a la Feels or even MPP...
I like Painting With a shitload, but you can't deny that they tried something really, really off base from what made(makes?) their band great, and it makes sense that a lot of people don't like it.
That being said, I don't get how someone can listen to the piano interlude in On Delay and say that Animal Collective has "lost it"...
That or they're tame impala fans who have no clue what psych is, and are just there for the pop aspects. As far as psych pop goes, I really do feel this has to be one of the stronger releases of the decade thus far.
