I like this album. Discuss.
I literally listened to this for the first time last night and am currently re-listening to my favorite tracks.
I fucking hate autotune in general and find it hard to listen to, I really hated 808s for that reason. However this album seems to use it better and I find it more enjoyable, I still only like maybe %50 of the tracks. I look forward to his future projects (hopefully without auto-tune)
>everyone raving about Adele releasing a new album
Can someone please come end my life?
Help me out /mu
Im searching for a special music genre at around 75-80 beats per minute.
I've heard this genre in a drum and bass and jump up night club and there were only 2 songs with this specific pace.
Anyone know what it could be? Its not drum and bass, it some sort of house, only slower..
Also whats your favourite jump up song, /mu?
this is seriously fucking incredible
it's literally fucking garbage. there is not one second of good songwriting on this entire record it's just 2 picked guitars with loads of reverb playing the most basic boring fucking progressions you could ever imagine.
there is literally nothing good about this record
Explain this shit
Who were the better team /mu/?
The worst artist of all 4 has to be Gilmore. He hasn't made any get music without roger, whereas waters, McCartney, and Lennon all made good music individually. Not sure who the best duo would be, it's pretty close but I'm leaning towards John and Paul
To this day it baffles me that people think this was some concerted effort on Kanye's part. As if he actually intended it to come out this way.
The album is clearly 10 unfinished songs he had sown together at the last minute because he was too busy working on fashion. I'm not even saying it's a bad body of work, but it's not a trailblazing avant-garde masterpiece work of genius.
Hey there, /mu/.
I bought a Tascam 244 Portastudio. I'm fucking psyched, but I can barely find shit about it online. I've never recorded music before, but really want to, and I enjoy the idea of analog a lot more than digital. Well, I've recorded stuff with Ableton and FL Studio, and I didn't like it because I'm too fucking dumb, and I hate how things like digital effects sound.
Anyways, I was wondering, what do you guys think of the Tascam 244 Portastudio? Or any Tascam Portastudio? Where the FUCK can I learn how to use it?
Best metalcore bands?
Converge, Botch, Narrows, Coalesce, Cave In, Knut, Breach, Plebeian Grandstand, Car Bomb, The Dillinger Escape Plane, Code Orange, Acme, Ion Dissonance, and probably a whole bunch of others I forgot.
I just want to remind you all that this album exists and that it's really really really good ~
I feel like it's quite underrated
just a bunch of annoying aussie cunts making shit versions of what's on pic related
ITT : Post indie Avant-Garde rap like Chance the rapper
Can we please have a smashing pumpkins thread?
here's a few questions to get us started
>their best album?
>best back catalog song?
>most underrated album?
For me it's gotta be Adore, very adventurous given the fame and expectations thrust upon billy and co and to me its a triumph.
best song is tricky but I think this one is damn good
best back catalog...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Most underrated one is Adore. That album has a really unique sound, and a majority of the hate is because people couldn't handle Billy without guitars. But damn, the whole Shame-Behold! The Nightmare-For Martha sequence is fucking fantastic
Pleb songs you like thread?
Trolls aside :
Deep down you know he has better tastes and knowledge in music than anyone in /mu/
