>Each day she loves me less and less
>I'm afraid I'll soon be Loveless
>I feel so sick
>it's more than viral
>I guess I'm on
>The Downward Spiral
oh fuck off Trent
>but i still remember the days
>the days when we would play
>1000+ years of art music, centuries of traditional music, 100+ years of jazz and improvised music, and over seven decades of erudite electronic music
Yet you spend most of your time listening to metal, hip hop,"experimental", and "indie"?
Please end yourselves, all of you.
Post music that defines being a spectator in the society of the spectacle
I've recently started listening unironically some vaporwave music like Remember or 2 8 1 4 and I actually like it but my question is: Should I be embarrassed or not about my taste? I feel like it's meme music, but I enjoy listening to it. Also I want to educate myself in this world, so any cool songs to listen to will be appreciated thx
>Should I be embarrassed or not about my taste? I feel like it's meme music, but I enjoy listening to it
if you care what the neckbeards on this board or the normies on reddit or irl think then you need to kill yourself immediately
their taste is shit anyways
Why is it that neo-hipsters can't get into shoegaze?
Worst album /mu/ shilled
prove me wrong
sorry you meant this one
If you asked a complete stranger what they listened to, what are bands that are generally strong indicators of good taste?
hey guys, recently picked up a copy of Aja on vinyl, anyone else get any good records recently?
What does /mu/ think of Kodak Black?
He recently released a new mixtape called "Lil Big Pac".
Is this disrespectful?
See the one in the bottom right with the gold grill and the bantu knots? That's Kodak Black, the subject of this thread.
>there are people on /mu/ RIGHT NOW who don't like ska
>there are people on /mu/ who think Third Wave Ska was the best wave, as opposed to objectively being the worst
Queen literally don't have a single good song, they've never produced anything serious, they sound like a Parody band from the Disney channel. I know we're all supposed to unconditionally love Queen because the dude is gay and has Aids, and that's fair enough, but his music still fucking sucks.
Honestly the only reason so many people love Queen is because they're considered a "classic" so people are expected to like them. If someone completely oblivious to the existence of Queen heard Bohemian Rhapsody, they'd either think

ITT: Rockist jazz albums
>What's a rockist jazz album?
A jazz album from a selected group of popular jazz artists that rockists will claim are their "favorite" when cornered about their pathetic rock-centric taste
pic related is the ultimate 'oh yeah I know jazz xDDDDDDD' album
"Initially released as a single on September 21, 1959, Take Five failed to attract any unusual attention. Nearly two years later, a reissue exploded on the charts and became the biggest selling jazz single in history. The single version of Take Five was truncated from the LP version, notably omitting an extended drum solo."
Back at a time when jazz was still king and the rock revolution was a few years away yet.
what is his best song? and why is it Little Birds?

Can anyone recommend artists that sound like the Soronpfrbs but also exist in real life?
Why is this so slept on? It's better than EVOL.
Nard and B are similarly underrated. I don't know if I'd agree that Inside the Mattress is his best work, but there are so many good songs on this tape.
>Inside the Mattress
Hey,this is pretty good!
I've been laying in my bed for 3 days now not eating anything/barely drinking in the hopes to starve myself. Can somebody post music that strenghtens your depression?
No. This guy couldn't write a song to save his fucking life. We have a glut of these hacks coasting on "muh experimental" and "muh abstract electronic textures". It's shit, just like Swans, but P$K drones don't want to be the first ones to proclaim the emperor naked with a dinky weenie.
Millennial groupthink and suggestibility is the worst thing that ever happened to modern popular music.
Why is jazz so boring?
if you use synths, fuck you!
didn't see a bandcamp thread on here!! lets get it started :)
this is a sampler that a label from my local scene put together, it just came out yesterday.
>Field Recordings, Noise, Drone
It doesn't make sense: Oblivion has more & higher ratings than Sprawl II and below that song. Oblivion was robbed from its legit position by the crummy RYM algorithm.
The first one (that fucking Death Grips song voted by /mu/tants) has only 255 ratings, way below Oblivion's 925 ratings. Oblivion is the song of the year 2012 if you count all factors. Fuck you RYM.
Lets discuss the stations. Are there any Gta V radio stations that are /mu/ approved? i enjoy a lot Los Santo's rock radio and Soulwax FM
Why is he screaming?
to get your attention so you would listen to this album and claim it is the best prog album, and contribute further to your pretentiousness and hatred towards much better prog bands because they are popular.
sup /b/ name my band
Looking for instrumental music for studying.
Something like Animals as Leaders, Chon or Polyphia. I've tried other instrumental bands I like such as Weather Report but fusion usually requires all my attention.
Pic semi-related, Canadian disco man didn't drop yesterday, also stuff like Blank Banshee could technically work, considering there isn't really vocals.
What are your thoughts on Future?
>be a fan of "the rap" music
>here people talking about a cool rapper called Future
>listen to one of his songs
fucking nignogs who mumble and autotune their shit into a song are the worst
