>girl I know listens to the Beatles
>ask her what's her least favorite Beatle
>ask her why because he clearly wrote the best songs (Tomorrow Never Knows, Strawberry Fields Forever, A Day in the Life)
>"He's mean and I don't like his personality"
My least favorite Beatle is Paul.
Don't get me wrong. He's very talented and quite good at what he does but he's not numero uno with me. (In case your wondering my absolute favorite is a tie between George and Ringo!)
I am sick to death of seeing threads arguing about "Punk"! Are Green Day punk? Is punk dead? Does punk suck? Who the fuck cares?
And every time I see any thread about punk it's always about The Sex Pistols being a "Boy Band" or NOFX sucks or Henry Rollins ruined Black Flag or some other trivial bullshit!
So who here really knows their punk rock? Probably none of you! So I'm starting this thread to see who knows exactly what about punk. Post your favorite bands and say your piece! Picture posted is one of my favorite bands from 1977...

Ah yes. The Nipple Erectors who had to change their name to The Nips! Nobody remembers them now but the bloke with the big ears is Shane McGowan. Perhaps you've heard of The Pogues?

The Velvet Underground - Sister Ray
>inb4 post-rock spamming
end of month! recc, rate, talk shit etc.
The following genres have no-good albums:
Prove me wrong.
>no good albums
surely you aren't this pleb
How can other festivals even compete?
Any musicians here have recommendations for a good USB audio interface?
>need at least two inputs
>not sure if I care about MIDI
not going to /g/ because I fear them.
I actually need an interface too, but with four mic inputs. I think I'm going to get the Scarlett 18i8.
From what I've read, any Focusrite, Presonus, or Steinberg will be good. There's probably not going to be much difference since they're all in the same basic price range, so I would purchase based on OS compatibility and stuff.
Most Behringer stuff is bretty shit
what he said, you can't go wrong with focusrite scarletts or steinberg ur-series, they're pretty damn similar
If you're ok with two inputs I'd get the steinberg ur22
and MIDI can be super useful so I'd get one with midi
The Behringer UMC204HD is much better than the Steinberg UR22mkii or entry level Scarlett interfaces.
It has cleaner preamps (around 4-6db cleaner than the UR), it has 2-3 times stronger headphone amp, similar latency, 2 inserts... It is just way better and cheaper.
Just wanted to know; Do you find his reviews accurate and plausible?
Was the 80s the worst decade for music ever?
>Drummer is the lead vocalist
>haromnica player is the lead vocalist
Can we share around perfect winter core records like this /mu/? I can't be listening to Merriweather this December like
This is pretty wintery IMO. Nothing like sufjan tho. This is more lo-fi and melancholic
Winter is time to lay in bed and listen to ambient music
>Tfw most of you /mu/ fagggs grew up with Nu Metal and cringey emo music
>Tfw I grew up listening to Can, The Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Albert Ayler, and Charles Mingus
How does it feel now?
where did it all go wrong?
what events led to the demise of this amazing female musician?
EH was a big part of her not being interested in her own music anymore and having no energy.
Her body and looks arent the best about her because of her wanting to get fit and starting to train not only condition but also muscles etc making her produce testosterone and becoming more masculine
Her voice was utter shit in her performance in loopalooza or whatever the fuck you call it in Brazil this year
Her bad taste in music and her childish cringy behaviour to keep her EH fans stick to her...

>doesnt know her or any context at all
>still comes to thread and writes bullshit
What's the big fucking deal?
I PUSH MY FINGERS INTO MY!!
>Different in each album but still keep to roots
>Pushing the boundies of hip hop music
Yeah. So they're not the greatest group of the decade because?...
Post albums that you enjoy
I like this one
I enjoy this quite a lot.
when will /mu/ admit tame impala shits on grimes
currents > art angels
People already forgot about Currents and they still can't keep their mouths shut about AOTY 2015 and 2016: Art Angels. AA left a big mark (at least on /mu/). Shame that P4K robbed AA from that 9.1 rating that Currents got.
Do you know why AA > Currents? Because Currents doesn't have anything amazing besides the great intro. AA has a shitload of great tunes. The run from Kill V. Maim to Butterfly is flawless.
Why do I never see this on /mu/?
Best Album of 2016 imho. Really brings back the feel of the idiot and his vocals are somehow still good
Post a better album that was as big a change in direction for the artist.
Listen to Burzum
Old one is sliding, let's get another one going.

Here's an EP I made last year
Just marathoned this album. What did I think of it?
Since there's apparently no such thing as a bad genre, can you req me some objectively good country and reggae?
>tfw to intelligent for hip hop
