It's time to listen french rap
Why does this band get so hated? Why do people refuse to call it metal? Why is it so bad to admit you like this band?
Fuck you, niggers.
Nailed it. Nobody even bothers to hate them, or hell even LIKE them anymore other than teenagers who missed the boat and are still looking for identity in liking cringeworthy nu-metal.
Is there a reason I cant stop listening to Oasis. It's been a month now and I only listen to like 10-15 their best songs, but holy shit they only sound better each time.
I remember when they were getting some heavy rotation on the radio in the mid-1990s. I remember people saying "oh, they're alright, they sound a bit like the Beatles".
It's funny, they were well received as a pop band at the time but nobody took them seriously.
With the power of hindsight, I can now recognise they made some really catchy, well crafted songs.
Admittedly, at the time, I wasn't the biggest fan of them but I now recognise they were actually pretty gud.
>decided to listen to David Bowie's discography in order
>first album is mediocre but not horrible
>second album is great and becomes one of my favorites
>thought The Man Who Sold the World was just okay save for a couple great tracks
>not looking forward to Hunky Dory after being slightly disappointed with the last lp
>Hunky Dory catches me off guard and is great, becomes my favorite...

Honestly don't worry about it. I've been going through his discography for the past couple weeks and felt the same about Ziggy; it's just ok. He sticks to a similar sound on his albums until he gets to Young Americans, which is a funk album, and a very good one too.
Just make sure to brace yourself for Never Let Me Down. It'll scar you.
Ok /mu/ I've discovered I really like jazz but I'm still very new to the genre so I'd like a few recommendations. Are there any particular authors/bands/songs I should listen to? What about sub genres? And so on
im p new too but this flowcharts been pretty helpful (not sure if a jazz veteran would approve)
ITT: moments in music which warm your cold heart.
>the trumpet in the beginning of Storm and the calm string melody before the crescendo.
Shine On You Crazy Diamond, 2:10, guitars first note.
3:33 in Cherry, the final burst of warmth in the track
What does /mu/ think about Fryderyk Chopin?
How does /mu/ feel about this album?
Also, Radiohead is probably my favorite band so yall can roast me all you want.
I personally think it's my favorite, but you all probably have better taste than me.
First time on /mu/, fite me
Only got into Radiohead after they released AMSP and In Rainbows is their album that I liked the most spontaneously next to KidA. Actually listened to Reckoner today when I woke up, best song on the album imo.
I'm very drunk. Thanks for the correction, bro. Non-ironically, too.
Reckoner is my favorite on the album as well. I like disk 2 a lot though, 4 minute warning and Go Slowly are a few good ones IMO. Kid A is also great. I like your taste, let's be friends.
either no spoiler tags in this board or I don't know how shit works. Sorry /mu/.
What is the best song on this album?
>I've been waiting for a guy to come and take me by the hand
What did he mean by this?
>YOURE A NUT YOURE CRAZY IN THE COCONUT
Post your last 7 days, rate others, give recs
What's your favorite Coldplay song?
This is the most infuriating album I've ever wanted to love. The production is fantastically maximalist, the vocal effects are interesting and well done, but I can't fucking stand Kanye's rapping. The features are all fine, but Kanye himself is so boring and is most of the time talking about the most inane subjects. It'd be 9-10/10 if it was an instrumental album, or just the features, but as it stands, it's garbage that's ruined by its own creator.
apology for poor english
when were you when grim dies
i was sat home drinking brain fluid when pjort ring
'grim is die'
>Coloring Book drops
>album trying to be gospel trap album
>mu agrees its garbage
>Bitchfork gives it 9.1 cause nigger
>hivemind changes and calls it AOTY
is this the guy from the neutral milk hotels?
i like his music
i dont think ive ever heard anything more beautiful in my life
what do you think?
There any real advantage to vinyl or is it just a hipster fetish?
No. It fucking sucks, it's overpriced, most records these days are manufactured cheaply, they are easily damaged, a pain in the ass to store, they don't sound better than cd's, they degrade easily, if you don't have a climate controlled room they can warp. Just buy cd's anon.
So why do I hate Car Seat Headrest, again?
Which ambient albums are good to sleep to? I tried pic related and the beginning is beautiful but despite it being pretty minimal, the mood is a little too melancholy and the progressions are keeping me too mentally stimulated for me to drift off - plus the noise of the whimpering dog not far in bummed me out.
I'd prefer something completely atmospheric, with absolute minimal progression, the absolute focus being calming , still atmospheres but still very beautiful. If you could deliver something that will send me off to sleep I would be ridiculously grateful, I...

i like to listen to this, for some reason i find it calming that a young italian girl is counting to me in spanish
Someone you love very much is about to commit suicide. What album do you put on to save them?
can't listen to Panda Bear because of his pussy stage name. If he had a cool guy name like Ultra Bear maybe I could get behind him.
