Anyone else hype for the follow-up album to this?
So would this have been the best album ever made if it came out when it was supposed to?
Okay eg: you have a playlist and there's a trap rap song, an alternative rock song, an EDM style pop song and a technical death metal song. You like all these songs equally and you put the playlist on shuffle.
When you come across different genres are you more likely to skip to a genre you prefer? I do this quite often if my playlist has a lot of different songs from different genres and I'm biased towards rock music so for example if I'm in this mood and it's a choice between "Swimming Pools" or Good Charlotte's "The Anthem",...

I know there's probably been this thread before but oh fucking well I didn't see it. Anyway, I really like Radiohead (I know, what a Fag) but what are some other recommendations for people that like them, I hear that Muse is often compared to them because they tried to kind of copy them? I'm not sure. I'm pretty picky with vocals and they usually make or break a band for me. Not really into Hail To the Thief and the albums released after that. Throw me some shit boys.
I just downloaded a bunch of sleater kinney albums. You mad?
they did nothing wrong
post perfect discographies
Yeah, I thought his poppier stuff (Eureka/Insignificance) was really good. The experimental stuff, I'm only in the mood for occasionally. A lot of it is kind of thrown together. The shitty production on Simple Songs makes me weep for the album it could have been every time I hear it.
ITT albums that aren't as bad as people make them out to be
Yeah, it's not as good as the albums either side of it, and the mastering on it is pretty awful, but apart from a few weak tracks it's still a solid effort, and has at least a couple of their best songs on it.
i know a lot of people like this album but its rym score really saddens me. its actually pretty damn amazing.
Same with Danse Manatee. I must admit I think the second half of Hollindagain drags it down a bit, but the first half is really great. Both of these should be above 3.0 on RYM, as with Painting With
Bands that are better after changing their sound.
Electro swing is the worst.
>band has no drummer
Why does /mu/ seem to dislike humor in music?
New blink album/single. What are your thoughts
ITT: Holy fuck, it clicked.
this was ironically enough the anco record that took the longest to click, but when it did
Name a better human being
Protip: you cant
is it me or is it really hard to hear danny brown and doom?
Will 2016 go down as the most /mu/ year ever?
>Animal Collective, Kanye West, Death Grips, Swans, Radiohead, The Avalanches, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Beyonce, David Bowie, Lil B, Viper all released/are releasing albums
ITT: Unappreciated gems.
I really don't get why people don't like this, tracks like confused and judgemental cunt really get me going.
Ok so weird questing but is there an electronica equivalent of loveless?
Combining noise and ambience with dreamy and repetitive pop harmonies, but with synthesizers instead of guitars?
What do you guys think of this album? I thought it was great.
I really enjoy pic related, and I've listened to some Can, but I respect it more than enjoy it. Which krautrock artists are more like Neu than like Can?
Can anyone reccomend a well made portable cassette player? I'm going on a trip and wanted to listen to my cassettes without bringing my player setup
Just get a fucking Walkman.
I have one that I take everywhere, it's built like a fucking brick and sounds fine for a portable tape player. They're like 10-20 bucks at most places, I got mine for $12 at a garage sale.
What are you listening to right now?
>realize Kurt Cobain is still dead
:/ , ;_;
My girlfriend cheated on me. Give me music for that feel.
What does he listen to?
opinion on new rhcp single?
i personally love how they went back to retro art work for the album cover like they did back in the 80s but it seems a little out of place with the music style since thye changed it 5 years back
mmmm, the sound of the single + the track list has given me hope for something darker/more serious and completely different for them rather than focusing on being a happy pop band...
not that that sound doesn't have it's place but i stopped listening to them as much because i can't vibe with it...
intriguing cover... raises questions
This is for my people who stream music. What streaming sites are you guys subscribed too?
Which should I subscribe to? Can I get some pros and cons?
Spotify? TIDAL? Google Play? Apple Music? Any others?
How? Who can honestly think this is good?
