Alright /mu/, what's your album of the year so far? Mine is pic related, but I've only listened to like twenty albums from this year so far. Post your AOTY and let others get recs.
The Ark Work
Coin Coin Chapter 3
I love you honeybear
ITT people post bands/albums they like and you answer with bands/albums they would probably like
I'll start with pic related, any recs?
pic related is pretty great and in the same vein as FlyLo
Check this out OP. Really great future/Neo-soul with jazz influences and really tight polyrhythms.
Since the old thread died at some point...
I'll be trying to listen to everyone for a while, at least
>electronic math rock kinda
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
May be an idea to give the threads a theme each day; a region, country, continent... something to get stuck into rather than a haphazard kind of free for all which doesn't really take off. Mind you not everyone is interested in the same countries and it didn't work that well in the group. I'll just shut up and go back to work.
Yeah, I considered that for a while.
>Mind you not everyone is interested in the same countries and it didn't work that well in the group.
It did for a while, but it was a bit too much effort I think.
Looked through the catalog and didn't see anything on this. It came out today, am I just hella late?
Anyway. Kanye's "So Help Me God" confirmed to be the worst album he's ever released. Please let this be a joke track.
I was fine with Only One and Wolves, disappointed by All Day, but this is taking it to a whole new level.
This probably won't be on the album. It's a leaked song that he made for Kim, most likely in one sitting. It could even be a joke song. It's hilariously bad. Nobody's going to let that shit get on the album. At least the horn swells and the chord progression are mildly interesting, but the auto-tune sounds terrible and the lyrics are fucking awful.
Still, leave it to Kanye to turn a love song about his wife into "I am also awesome!" I love the guy and his work, but he's becoming a self-parody.
Let's listen to each other's things and not necessarily feel obligated to give feedback. Just make sure you listen. Peace.
>shoegaze, punk, loud
just released new EP
>post rock, instrumental space rock, shoegaze
Yo wassup, can't listen at the moment in class right now but I will when I can OP (and others)!
released this a few days ago, would entirely appreciate a listen.
lets talk prog. I'm looking to get into it, big fan of king cirmson, soft machine, pink floyd (but not the wall) but can't stomach the likes rush/jethro tull/genesis. recommendations?
A friend and I are working on a compilation of album of a bunch of random 1 second songs. They don't have to be good. They don't even have to be musical. They just have to be 1 second.
Does anyone want to get in on it?
All I need is your musicial alias, the name of the song, and of course a link to the song.
(by submitting your song you give us the rights to use it however we please)
Share, discuss, argue, talk shit on Snowing, etc.
Have at it kids

Current feels, /mu/ ?
>charli xcx is fat now
Complete cessation of Charli threads proving /mu/ never cared about her actual music in 3. . .2. . .1. . .
Why does /mu/ ignore so much soul, R&B, and funk music? Hip hop isn't the only form of black music.
Daily reminder that Trey Songz is the ultimate man.
Do u know any similar artist like Daoko? I like her music (im not into rap), but cant find more artists like her form Japan and Korea.
i know you guys always make fun of vaporwave and macintosh plus but what do you honestly think of her music?
