Why is this best album of 90's again?
Make the best argument for why I should start listening to Drake

Plunderphonics, a genre I'm very interested in.
How does one go about making music in this manner? How do you isolate each track? Where do you find what to sample? What programs does one use to sync together the samples? Also, in the thread share other plunderphonics albums.
very high quality genre
DJ Shadow's Endtroducing is the holy grail of plunderphonics, also check out J Dilla's Donuts (both are entry level and popular on /mu/)
whosampled.com is a good resource, you can find most samples by searching for the song.
as for creating songs, I'm not sure what to tell you. there aren't any rules
April and the Phantom
How come there's never a drum thread? Let's post our kits favorite snares, heads, cymbals, kits, how many of our crashes crack, etc. Love my Gretsch Renown picked it up for 600. Really love my Masters snare too I haven't even thought about using anyother snare. I'm trying to get a K custom dark ride holy shit I tried one the other day I can't believe the sound it makes. Or a Meinl Byzance Vintage Sand not sure yet anything will be better than my B8 I have used for 5 years
Is anyone else a bit underwhelmed with The Velvet Underground? TVU&N is pretty good, WL/WH has its moments if you are in the right mood, TVU is... alright and then Loaded is just super samey. Also the tinny production can get pretty grating.
TVU has bare chill vibes
loaded has 1 good song (rock n roll) but that one song is also one of their best songs
wlwh is sick noise rock
tvu&n is kinda overhyped but still an extremely good album
TVU has some standout tracks, but I find it difficult to focus on the album as a whole. Lou's vocals never seem to change, almost as if he's singing the same song every time. The chord progressions are usually pretty predictable on a lot of their material as well. I definitely don't dislike them, but damn, I was expecting more I think.
What am I missing here? This is nowhere near as good as EVOL, Daydream Nation, or Goo.
name my noise rock band, /mu/. We sound like Lightning Bolt but with screamo vocals
Remember when I was in high school and all you listened to was Nine Inch Nails?
What's the "grown-up" version of NIN?
why i want a girl who dont want me back

I'LL BE THE ROOOOOOUNDABOUT
>Only one band member named after an animal.
Those who have decided to committ suicide here, what song will be the last you listen to?
I'll probably listen to One More Chance by Biggie
What's the best Guns N' Roses song?

If I were to start a YouTube album review channel what should I do differently than Fantano and now should I present it?
John or Paul?
Daily reminder that your AOTY is probably shit.
What music would make you think someone is gay if they told you they listened to it or you heard them listening to it?
Specific old female popstars, like Madonna, Cher, Diana Ross, it's all some gay shit. Specially funny because I had a teacher who was literally gay as fuck and loved all of the ones quoted here.

Is Pink Floyd the best band (excluding the drama/including the arts and story) the best thing to ever happen to Music?
Not a troll thread, please give me valuable reasons for and against.
No. However, to find out you will need to explore more music, particularly the prog genre. It's not something easily explained with words. I recommend Genesis' Selling England By the Pound as a starting point, with branches going to VDGG (starting with Pawn Hearts) and King Crmison (starting with their debut, In the Court of the Crimson King). From there on you will discover and more music by yourself. Start with Gensis though. As an ex-Floyd fanatic, Genesis started my real exploration of music.
PF are still pretty cool though.
No, they're filthy hippies.
Pic related is the best band ever, and this album is unbeatable perfection. BTFO plebs.
