ITT: We make up fake bands and others rate them
how did he create such easy songs that sound so good?
>Dude have you heard of Andrew Jackson Jihad?
Hey, nice axe man!
/jk/ you're a fucking LOSER
If your guitar says Squier or Epiphone on the headstock, you're a LOSER. These "guitars" were made by LOSERS for LOSERS who can't afford a real instrument.
I don't care if you swapped out the pickups. I don't care if you installed a bone nut. I don't care if you 'like it'. You're a fucking LOSER
i know this is a meme song and all, but i can't get enough of the synths
can you rec me a song with similar synths?
I unironically love that song. I don't know what it is; something about it makes me think of walking on my high school's empty track in the middle of summer.
The music video can go fuck itself though.
Albums you listen too when you're sad/depressed.
If Prince were a bird
>listens to Mac DeMarco once
Hey fellow /mu/tants, what are some good albums to get stoned while listening to them?
Literally the most overrated musician of all time.
>boo-hoo feel bad for me
>everything in the world is terrible
>nothing original at all just "fuck God" in a shitty crackling voice and stolen guitar riffs
>b..but muh Bleach
>m..muh voice of a generation
>never touch any substance for years because of sheltered childhood / frightened imagination
>struggle with depression all throughout my teenage years
>eventually try pot the day I become a vicenarian and love it
>suddenly my depression is even worse when I'm sober
music for this feeling
Post your bandcamp links bois, lets hear what you've been making.
remember to leave feedback later ;^)
New EP out today, first project I've done in this style and 'd very much appreciate some feed back, will return what ever feedback I can.
>2 man acoustic/electric indie pop rock duet
New single is almost here and I cannot wait to share it!
>Post-Music, Worship Songs, Free Improvision, Avant-Hop
fuck this is really good though. the breaks fit in very well with the ambiance. i guess if there's anything to say, the ambient itself felt kind of predictable, but other than that, this is more or less studio quality.
So, I want to get into death metal, but the avenues I've taken so far have been mostly shit. I like [pic related], but I haven't found anything else that really clicked for me. I dig a lot of black metal, and I'm just looking for something that digs a bit deeper than just "kill, death, blood". Can /mu/ offer anything a little more cerebral, or is this genre mostly just shit? It doesn't even have to be super complex, but at the very least more complex than a polished Chris Barnes.

>it's actually a good album
how the fuck did this happen?
>rather talented singer
>record traditional song for your country
>gets remembered as a fucking 2012 meme
Is there a worse fate?
Can somebody explain this shitty meme to me?
Is this the most objectively perfect thing to ever come out of rock music?
God this board sucks
Alright /mu/, bought to hit 500 albums, which one of these should I listen to and why?
Was Elliott Smith depressed?
Explain to me why is this so hated and underrated? Definitely their most versatile album and great to GOAT songs. On par with OKC, better than Amnesiac, only Kid A and In Rainbows are superior to this.
bloated, every song drags on too long, every song works better live (except maybe Wolf At The Door)
it's certainly mostly great throughout and brilliant at times, but it sounds very much like a band trying a bit too hard to find a sound, which is understandable, not wanting to repeat the relative minimalism of Kid A/mnesiac. But maybe three or four of the tracks shoulda been B-sides.
also the (sub-)title track (The Gloaming) is unnervingly bad on the album, which is a big knock against the album itself
Its very hard to describe, but I think this album came close to their old material like The Bends without sounding too much like it.
This makes people dislike the album because, as Radiohead fans, the primary focus is on what they do differently per each release.
I think it wasn't very radically different, and that killed the album for a lot of people. I personally am a huge fan of this album, however, because I'm not a willy little bitch
