ITT: Post an album/movie and get the equivalent to the other category
Is there any chart / can anyone recommend me some future funk and nu disco albums? I've heard Saint Pepsi and Todd Terje but that's about it.
ITT: we post actually good albums that /mu/ likes to shit on for no other reason other than pretentiousness.
Pic related faggots.
Post your favorite cartoon character, then people guess what music you like.

is this reaaaaalllyyyyyy the best synthpop album?
general synthpop thread too, from then til now til infinity
that's what i'm saying
i listened to this album at least ten times and while i can grasp the pop appeal it's actually pretty bland, pet shop boys and new order still rank higher than depeche for me
Wwhere do I start with noise rock and other shit like this?
Swans? Sonic Youth? Goddamn Melt Banana?
>come over to /mu/ in the first time in like 4-5 years
>still memming about IAAOTS and Animal Collective and Surjan
>notice you've now added Floral Shoppe to your memming smorgasbord
>that came out in 2011
Why the fuck are you still making memes out of the same old overmilked shit? IAAOTSposting is even older than Baneposting which at least found sitewide appeal.
Downtempo, chillout, trip hop, IDM, glitch, minimal and ambient house and techno, nu jazz, acid jazz, soul house, lounge, broken beat, stuff like that.
Bc general since old one is basically dead.
>idm, electronic, ambient
>trippy psych with a heavy alt rock twist
you know the drill
>noise rock, industrial, hip hop, plunderphonics, electronic, free improvisation
>ambient, glitch, drone

Demon Days 10/10 (super nostalgia factor but I love it for the songs not the memories I have of the album)
Plastic Beach 7/10
The Fall 6/10
I feel like Amnesiac is more like a 8 or 9, but that's just me.
Are you not into the wormy darkness of it? I see you gave Kid A a 10/10 so perhaps you enjoy a more cleaned up sound?
I like Kid A a lot too but it's not a 10 for me.
IIRC, the sensation of being tickled is caused by the brain's inability to predict the movements of the tickler.
With this in mind, when was the last time music tickled your ears and mind? I'm talking about the times that catch you off guard and give you a massive smile.
I just had one; it was caused by Tim Hecker's Radio Spiricom. Holy shit though; it's one of the best feelings that music can cause IMO.
ONE TWO ONE TWO ONE TWO
Anyway, its pic related
Vomir - Claustration
It's not necessarily abrasive or hard to listen to, it's just really hard to listen to the entire album considering every track sounds the same and every second sounds like the last...it's a fucking long, dull album.
No, random internet artist, you dont count
Alright /mu/ I need some recommendations on music with Rhodes piano in it. Surely you know what it is.
Besides the obvious Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Billy Preston stuff I'd like to see some newer artists using Rhodes. Open to any suggestions
