post tunes and dem
I disliked his EP, but for some reason I really dug this.
So now the year is coming to an end, call we all agree that this is the AOTY?
> multi grammy nominations
> best selling
> album of the year
So /mu/, why don't you like the AOTY? Do you just hate good music?
So are we just going to ignore this?
ITT: Post your top 10 favourite genres, other anons guess what you're like as a person/give recs/etc.
Let's get emotional.
Do you prefer twinkly emo or punk emo?
twinkle daddies all day baby kinsella fam where u @
Both! When shit gets really screamy is very nice too.
Why does /mu/ hate this album so much?
>TWERK SOMETHING GIRL TWERK SOMETHING GIRL
>IT'S THE LAST SONG OF THE NIIIIIIGHT EVERYBODY TIP THE BAR TENDER
>THERE'S A MURDER ON THE OUTSIDE EVERYBODY INSIDE *wubwubwub*
>THERE WAS A MORAL TO THE STORY BUT FUCK IT THEY NEED SOME ANSWERS
/mu/ goes in cycles of like-love-dislike-hate
/mu/ is actually one of the first places where clipping really blew up and is somewhat responsible for their online spread
at this point their popularity has gone beyond 4chan however, they are highly praised elsewhere on the internet...therefore /mu/ turns on them to an extent. /mu/ doesn't like feeling like they share tastes with other sites/communities.
many on /mu/ still list it among their favorites from the year though.
>download an album
>it doesn't come with the cover art
Get in here and talk about producing!
>There isn't a best DAW for beginners.
>Look on Youtube for 'how to produce X music', the question is too broad and tedious to answer 3 times every thread.
>This is not a Souncdloud thread, if you're going to post a Soundcloud link make sure it's relevant in some way to production.
If the Moog Sub 37 costs £1,187.06 and the DSI Pro 2 costs £1,381.87, what chance does the MFB Dominion 1 have when it costs £1,076.19?
>dub techno machine
Last SC thread is ded... over a day old.
NEW SC THREAD!
Let me know your thoughts /mu/
I'll be giving feedback!
thanks guys for everything
nice! i like it. i was kinda bored until that synth riff dropped at around 1:30. im into it. it's like the kind of music i wouldn't be crazy about as an active listener, but if i heard it on the radio every day i would be happy
your concepts are cool, but they get a little repetitive. and i'd personally like to hear more beefiness to your rhythms, but that's just my personal taste. your style is definitely developed, and i think you got some...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
post last tune you listened to and what you ate for breakfast
first for australian psytrance
>what do you find overwhelming about it?
i have like 100 tunes im trying to cram into a 100-minute-or-less arrangement. now some tunes can definitely not make the cut of course but i'm still at this point where i'm putting sketches together in timeline mode, haven't even imported all the tunes yet neither, so like shit how am i ever going to figure out how to narrow it down
Let's get a share thread going, but let's focus on good shit that for some reason isn't in the archive -- I'm talking about stuff like James Brown's The Payback. I'll start us off with something I just got.
D'Angelo - Brown Sugar (1995)
>Neo-Soul, R&B, D'Angelo's first album that's pretty damn good, you should have this
Can we get a Free Bandcamp music thread? All genres, let's see what free art there is that's worth while
hey, i'm looking for some good, comfy field recordings. nature, musicology, or whatever. preferably something involving weather
Post the most ignorant fun nigger rap music you can find. The type of shit that would make the reverend Dr. King turn in his grave.
isn't this really true though? A guitar takes so much practice to learn, there is technique and dedication required to master it.
What's so hard about pressing play on a sampler?
>b-b-but muh production
seems a bit flimsy, doesn't it?
