ITT: post who your favorite ️Radiohead member is
>Thom or Phil
What did Thom say?
which one is better
no one deserves happiness. the best pop metal album of all time desu
>those female vocals
make me hard tbqhwy
such a great song
I'm gonna be an asshole and say that this new Radiohead album is probably going to be Coldplay-core
>niggas grab your dicks if you love hiphop
>bitches grab your titties if you love hiphop
what did he mean by this?
>all songs on the album are 2-8 minutes
>last song is 15+ minutes
>last song is a 20 minute epic about sucking a ding dong
when will this balding cuck put out new material?
hopefully never. everything after the eminem show is terribad. if he would have overdosed and died after TES, he would be considered one of the greatest of all time but he ruined his legacy
I don't think he's ever putting an album out again. MMLP2 was both tasteless and senseless, and revealed a total lack of creative will. If he's smart, he'll be able to understand his time's up.
Is soul the superior genre?
yea dogg, post some jams
I don't think I can stand listening to anymore Bruckner. I am having a pretty difficult time understanding the hype around this guy. His music sounds exciting enough in the Scherzi but it all sounds the same to me. Just the same shit being played for hours. What am I missing here?
is it autism or artistic genius?
I'll be playing live music for a while today! Come watch me play guitar, drum machine, synths! I will also take certain requests which appeal to my interests. Also, once I get tired any of you'll can perform. :)

016 is the year that death decided to flip us the middle finger and take the lives of the world's greatest musicians. I thought that it was amazing to see the world come together for Bowie's passing. And now, we are back here three months later because Prince is no longer with us. It hurts, it really hurts. Knowing that my idols, my heroes, the people I looked up to as a kid are gone is painful. But the one good thing it does is get people talking, we share a close bond now because of someone we were inspired by.
Rest in Peace Prince.
So let's go into his best album (both objectively speaking, based on the RYM chart and personally speaking) Purple Rain. The soundtrack to the movie of the same name. The film itself is rather cheesy, and works better as a bunch of music videos loosely connected by a cliche plot. But the music? THAT there is transcendent. From the opening sermon that kicks off "Let's Go Crazy" to the explosive finale of the title track. It is rare that an album barely has any issues whatsoever. There is not a...

Who would pic related be? (Gilbert Ryle)
Is this the best prog-rock album of all time?
I have about as much respect for Premiata Forneria Marconi as I do for the dogshit on my shoe. It is reddit. It is video game hotpocket. It is capeshit. It is cheeto dust. I'm literally screaming right now and slamming my arms down on my desk just thinking about it.
It is the most depraved video game infantilized manchild degeneracy. It is saturday morning cartoon. It is non-neurotypicality. It is memes. It is video game. It is SJW. It is memes. I am seething.
ITT: Depressive albums
Post albums that make you feel depressive/albums that you listen to while depressed
Why this album makes you feel depressed? It's so powerful and full energy. It's not Vulnicura.
I had lost interest in everything including music when I was depressed. But I still had this on repeat, particularly Coward from it, mainly for its value as an album that is also viscerally depressive and agonizing as it is cerebral.
Anyone have views zip???
Reverse the video and what you get?
Yes, The Scientist video.
I seriously think by now that is a concept album about their own influence in other bands, that's the whole point of the video too; Yorke entering to random buildings (influencing) and then leaving after a while (take for instance the careers of Muse and Coldplay)
>Dreamers, they never learn
2016 has been a terrible year.
Going to stream the 1983 Bayreuth performance of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde (audio and video) in 10 minutes (X:35)

David Bowie, Weezer, Animal Collective, Deakin, Death Grips, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Radiohead all released/will release an album this year.
Where were you when 2016 was confirmed to be the best year for music this decade?
On here laughing at people getting hyped for /mu/core artists that haven't released anything good in a decade. Only ones that don't fit that definition that you listed are Kendrick and Bowie.
it was good but not aoty material for me
love them but pw was lukewarm
suprise of the year
good but not their best
tlop was a mess kek

What's Bowie's best and worst album?
>When asked in 2001 by MTV, "How do you guys feel about the fact that bands like Travis, Coldplay, and Muse are making a career sounding exactly like your records did in 1997?", Yorke replied: "Good luck with Kid A."
What the fuck did he mean by this?
Post your chart, and which album you're least happy about being on there.
Rec/rate/hate too if you want
Curate a discussion please
>I'm least happy about having two of the same VU albums, fuck spotify
I'm happy with all these albums; nothing there I didn't like
definitely checking out that Harlem record
No idea how Pope Francis got here
Who is your favorite John/Jhonn/Jon/Johnny?
