who's the best to drone for different things?
I'm thinking that Yo-Yo Ma has performed the highest quality recording's of Bach's cello suites, definitely prefer his pacing of the material as opposed to Rostropovich who burns through the stuff.
Somebody recommend me some 2016 death/black metal that's any good, please.

Least favourite song?
Skepta's magnum opus?
Why do some people pretend jazz is more than pop(ular) music?
Because it is? Jazz has always been five steps ahead of all other popular music. Jazz started innovating and experimenting decades before The Beatles even recorded an album. Nothing popular music has done wasn't done first in jazz.
Where has emoe gone recently? I'm all sad when there's no thread...
> ITT post emo, scramz band, aside with anime girls and dead animals
Is Haibane Renmei /emoe/?

I saw Annie Clark at a grocery store in Los Angeles a couple months ago. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything.
She said, "Oh, like you're doing now?"
I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but she kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing her hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I...

Thread for people who waited for full quality to have a reaction thread
I missed the feeling of freaking out when a new Death Grips album comes out, so everybody who waited (or if you didn't and are still fucking with the album), lets talk about it
My first impression a couple tracks in: Holy shit, they're actually using guitars in more interesting ways this time around. Jenny Death guitars were really cool but these riffs are much more imaginative so far
I'm 'that guy' that gets really overhyped really easily like every time an album drops, so for me this is blowing my mind and its what i think Jenny Death should have been, but we'll see how i feel in a week or two
What in your mind is the most absolute perfect song ever constructed. Not necessarily the one you listen to the most, or even like the most - but the one you think is a masterpiece.
I'm eager to listen to some suggestions.
I'd personally say Tool's Lateralus, I'm not a devotee of the band but I do think this song is incredible, lyrically and phonically.
DJ Shadow - Midnight in a Perfect World
This song just hits all of the notes for me. It's beautiful but somber, and it's just so tightly and carefully constructed while still sounding like it was made in the moment. Class A song.
trips decide the album i'll be listening to on repeat for the next 7 days
Red Hot Chili Peppers just released a new single today. What is everyone's thoughts?
Can we get one of these threads going?
Here's the template.
Feel free to change the ages if certain ages are more relevant for you.
Jazz has never been a favourite of mine but I do like it and will randomly put it on. I appreciate classical for its complexity but I'll very rarely listen to it. So....maybe in my 40s-50's?
Any Paramore fans on /mu/?
They have many good songs. Very listenable.
Why is this decade so shit popular music wise
>No good rock music, if any at all
>No good Hip hop
>No good electronic music
Has the music industry finally killed pop music?
Is she the next Grimes?
Hey this is actually not bad edition
Let's settle this once and for all.

So, why don't you, /mu/?
is this a joke?
they had a lot of articles about that tranny skipping out on the Oscars or something for the sake of combating "transphobia"
this shouldn't come as a surprise, but if you weren't a newfag then you'd realize that none of the retarded stuff pitchfork does is more than blatantly obvious marketing and pandering
