Can we talk about how criminally underrated this album is?
Have you ever played music while on lsd? What was it like? I've never done acid but i've had a few tabs for a while now and im thinking ill wait until my friend and i have his garage set up to jam. I'm not expecting to gain any sort of musical insight, but i think it could be a good time.
>one two fuck you
>Artists you gave up waiting for their new album
>Artists you gave up waiting for a new song
Give me gay sounding music, /mu/
Anything you've ever heard that sounded good and faggy at the same time. Any vocalist that had you thinking ''this man is a fucking faggot'' whether that ended up being a true statement or not.
Pic is related.
this is definitely up there. definitely didn't think "this man is a fucking faggot" though because i'm not a bigot. very good album imo
This wasn't really that bad....
/mu/core rank thread
might be overrating untrue a bit
haven't listened to it in forever but i used to love it
Post a band/artist/duo etc and what you think their favourite album is.
>XTC - Apple Venus Volume 1
OP here, should mention I mean Coils later output.
>Broken Social Scene - You Forgot it in People
Bowie survived 6 heart attacks before he died, He really wanted to live :'(
Just heard this for the time.
Is this considered ahead of it's time sonically for 1977? Some of the sounds and techniques are still used today wholesale by other artists. Seems to be underrated as an album too.
1. yes, the synths sound dated at points but it holds up fairly well
2. no, it's widely acclaimed in retrospective reviews
3. heroes is the underrated album, it's on par with Low but gets a lot less attention other than the title track
I don't think it was really sonically ahead of German electronic music of the time like Klaus Schulze and people like that, but it packaged that aesthetic to a more easily digested form and the instrumental tracks are of course excellent
Which one does /mu/ think is better?
>in b4 Bleach
Post your favorite classical music
>it's been over a year since Sremmlife dropped and changed the game
>STILL nothing has even come close to topping it
I guess the Bowie album came close but it was still pretty far away from the genius of Sremmlife. At the end of the day, more people will remember Sremmlife than they will remember Brownstar or whatever.
Rec me some good spoken word
