ITT best suicide core
I would listen to something like pic related while I hang myself
ITT: albums with god tier distortion
Not an album, and I don't even think distortion pedals or effects as we know them existed when Meek and Blackmore did this piece of greatness, but that solo about a minute in still has the best distorted guitar ever for my money:
I once listened to this while driving a sketchy car on the freeway in winter while late for work, speeding and hoping my wheel wouldn't fall off or my car spontaneously catch fire for no particular reason, and the part at 00:40 felt extremely fitting.
rate, rec, make fun of each other, guess personalities, the usual shtick.
mine's from the last 7 days but you can do any time span
Any nazis here? I'll kick your ass
ITT we discuss the OST for the first entry in the Elder Scrolls series: Arena.
my favorite is the Snowing Day theme that plays while in the snowy tundras
> not sure if it only plays within Skyrim or if it also plays in High Rock as well
I would never resort to trying and discussing games on /v/
Besides, its about the OST and the game itself, although a discusion about the game is welcome as /mu/ can be less shit than /v/
> for the record, this thread is about the soundtrack, however
My girlfriend doesn't believe that converting her MP3s to the waveform FLAC/ALAC will protect them from bitrot. How can I redpill her, /mu/?
What fucking bitrot? Are you a technically illiterate wannabe collector who's gonna store his indie rock songs for ages or something? Don't think about such thing. Don't convert lossy to losless, it's pointless.
Why are these nu rappers so homosexual nowadays? Wearing super skinny jeans, multicoloured shit? Boondocks was right.
>Why are these nu rappers so homosexual nowadays?
because all of them are black nerds who browse tumblr and take shrooms/acid
there's alot of black kid like that but the media only wants to promote the "thug" ones
rap is finally in its psychedelic phase
Post music you made and rate other's music.
I'm proud to present you my new single "How To Stop Time"
A song i am working on, this will be the first half. It will repeat. I just need to include more, check it out :)
blues type of tune
>PC Music used to work for Million Dollar Extreme
Remembering and showing love to one of the best albums of this decade. No doubt will this album be remembered for years to come and in the far future. Share what you love about this album and the moments that stand out to you the most.
>The opening sample for Punk Weight
>The fuzzed out sampled bells that chime in at the start of Double Helix
>THE TABLES TURNED NOW WE GOT ALL THE COCONUTS BITCH
Post albums that suck.
Literally every thread on /mu/
ITT: Listen to and provide your thoughts on the song posted below yours
"Do you have any other hobbies?"
>Yeah I write French poetry
"Wow you speak French?"
>Haha no way! Learning the language kills your creativity man.
ITT: 10/10 albums ONLY
Why does mu dislike him?
Was he Grimes'ed just like Death Grips lately, or he's actually not that good?
What pisses reddit off in music...?
I wanna hug Brian
>THIS NEXT MEME REVIEW
>THE NEW GAME ALBUM 1992 SEEMS TO BE A VERY COOL THROWBACK CONCEPT
>OMG WHY WOULD YOU RELEASE THIS ROCK ALBUM ANYTIME BUT THE 90s WERE YOU BORN IN LE WRONG GENERATION
>MARX DEBUNKED VAGINAS YEARS AGO
>ALL HAIL THE INTERNET
>I'M A FEDORA TIPPER BUT THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I'm late for the punk party and I'm not even sure of the sub-genres that exist.
I started listening NOFX when I was younger, but then kinda ignored punk. Now I listened to Melt Banana and the flame reignited.
These are the only punk bands I like so far. What do you recommend I listen to?
>consider myself to like a wide varity of music, anything from classical to eurobeat
>come on mu
>don't understand wtf people are talking about
>check out most of the bands people are talking about
>they're all literally hipster garbage
>b...but muh art representation!
you're all literally fucking retarded and probably the same people who listen to east asian throatsinging and think wearing chains in public is acceptable.
the point i was making was that those were two very different ends of a spectrum, obviously music isn't linear but when we're talking about things like general audience, electronic vs instrumental, upbeat vs slow paced, modern vs antique, classical and eurobeat don't exactly share a lot in common asides from back on the rocks having a beethoven opening.
ITT: albums with misleading covers
How is it misleading? It's absurdist and cozy, just like the album
This is my favorite misleading cover
>Post-Industrial genres (EBM, Aggrotech, Futurepop, Dark Electro, etc.)
Other "dark" music may also be discussed.
>related charts album
So i've been getting into classical music lately, but one thing i've always wondered is, how did they record the music for us to listen to today if things like microphones weren't invented back in the days of Beethoven and Bach etc?
>things like microphones weren't invented back then
This is one of the most beautiful album ever made.
why is Beyoncé so much better than Oneohtrix Point Never?
So, people on /mu/ are constantly discussing Deathconsciousness, but rarely pic related.
What's the consensus?
Is it worth listening to?
yeah I think that's why Giles Corey is such a great album, it's still got the long, emotional songs but it's a lot easier to listen to casually, partly because the overall length is only 56 minutes
Have started listening to this recently.. In my opinion, If some of the tracks had been more polished, this would've been a modern rock classic. Love "Music Will Untune the Sky" and "Dan and Tim.."
I will start off with the obvious
Bad debut albums by artists you like
It didn't click with me.
(Sugar and Spiders are great tracks though).
