Why do people like this album?
Can anyone tell me why they like it or consider it one of the best of all time?
I constantly see it being ranked in the best of 80s and best of all time list but I have listened to the album maybe 10-15 times and even though I think it's a good album I don't see what other people see.
Are there innovations? Is it the subject matter? The sort of impish humour? Or does everyone relate to Morrisseys sickly loneliness?
I like the album but I would like to know if I'm overlooking something
best Smiths album is pic related
I've always found The Queen is Dead to just be alright
Prove me girls can have great taste in music.
(pic realated, a friend of mine sent me this after saying she war really into music)
Full list also contains: MCR, ACDC, Gorillaz, BMTH, Lorde and much more
Not really, but the end of the Lazarus music video suggests he's still alive, hiding.
No he meant he was dead
Going in the cupboard shows that he's just part of music history/culture now. No longer an individual with thoughts feelings or chemo, but something closer to a photo on your desk. A painting. A blackstar.
This album has two good tracks, Starman and Rock 'n' Roll Suicide, the rest is filler.
albums that sound like this?
im kind of new to bleepblops, is this drum n bass?
Where do I start with Bowie?
What is some essential Spongecore music?
WHY BOWIE AND NOT THIS TALENTLESS HACK
Ive never actually listened to david bowie except for some songs that were on the radio. What would be a good album for me to get into his work?
I usually like more experimental music then catchy stuff. I know I must be coming off like a pleb right now.
prove you aren't a bandwagoner
David Bowie has just made me realize, there are no more actual big prolific rock stars with strong mainstream presence anymore.
Can you think of any rock artists that produced music in various genres and collaborated with various artists and participated in various art spheres? As much as it hurts me to say it, Thom Yorke is quite possibly the last prolific, "big" mainstream rock star.
Oh boy, now people are going to overrate the fuck out of this 6/10 album.
>h-haha yeah I like David Bowie too guys am I cool yet?
It's okay if you don't value Bowie as much as others might, but that doesn't give you the right to be a dick about a recent death to people mourning him.
In other words, dumb frogposter.
> There are people on this board RIGHT NOW that still blabber about what's "true metal" and what's "poser bullshit that isn't metal"
