nbnsbm soon edition
there's something so organic about his drumming. a lot of metal drummers, especially in tech death, sound so robotic, yet he manages to breathe life into parts that other drummers would just sound robotic playing.
ITS ARRINN TIMEEE!!!!
Spent the past few hours listening to loads of groups debut songs.
The stand out best ones were:
OMG - Cupid
Twice - Ooh Ahh
Honestly both of these groups have yet to get close to these songs.
Discuss /mu/'s most controversial artist. Please be nice to Grimes and keep it music related.
>lots of pop ditties with mass appeal, simple and accessible
>without George Martin they would be just another pop band
>sample lyrics: Love, love me do / You know I love you / I'll always be true / So please, love me do
>The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever...

lol, you really want those don't you? I'm the tripfag from the /out/ Secret Santa thread. I wanted to check and see if /mu/ does a secret santa too and who organizes it. I didn't want to step on any toes or anything like that here.

I was digging around on RYM and found out that Chumbawamba made an album with Plunderphonics elements. What even is this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0lz7pKnIhA
Jeez guys calm down on the effect pedals
Save some for the rest of us lol
Can we discuss MEGALOLZ man?
I mean seriously, what the fuck?
What the actual fuck?
He was on some next level paedo shit.
When I was about fourteen I really enjoyed their music, I stopped listening before I found out about his crimes, but yeah just reading about what he did is the most fucked up, awful shit I've ever heard. I can't think of a previous popular musician who was such an awful person, it actually makes me sick to think about
>he enjoys Johnny Cash butchering Hurt
I don't get Wilco. I love indie rock in general, and folk artists such as Elliott Smith and Nick Drake but I don't like this album a single bit. I hate it.
What is so good about this band? What do you guys think of them?
Basically everyone I've ever talked to that loves this album hated it at first. Including me. Keep listening, find something you DO like about it, let the rest grow on you.
Or accept that not everyone likes everything and move on like a normal human being. These threads are autism.
>tfw you realize The Microphones invented modern music
Without microphones, we wouldn't be able to record sounds correctly or do more advanced things with sounds, we would had forever remained in the stage of primitive music if it hadn't been for them.
And don't forget they did The Glow Pt.2 which would inspire all modern artists later on
Why did everyone stop listening to System of a Down?
Probably because they haven't released an album in 11 fucking years.
They were the undeniable kings of the later years of numetal though, I remember even my normie gym teachers in high school was into them back in the day.
>entire world goes to shit
Really makes you think
>all this shit going down in Korea
