Great italian music.
/mu/, rate this.
recommend me songs/albums with high dynamic range
This is actually pretty good, why all the hate? If it was a debut of a long haired nerdy white dude it'd be getting more positive reviews
No, actually it might get even worse reviews.
Kid Cudi thought that he could release terrible RHCP ballads as a "punk" album and get away with it because he ISN'T a long-haired nerdy white dude.
but it backfired on him
Does /mu/ like the Hives?
Who /tinnitus/ here? How do you deal with it? Anyone find it interferes with music listening?
ITT: Albums Better Than Loveless
Not this one. By the way, Isn't Anything arguably did noise-pop better.
Can confirm this. I placed my set of speakers side by side, one group played Loveless the other played Souvlaki. The result was undeniable. 320kb rips. Same volume for all tracks. Loveless wins.
>hurr you can't complain about modern music being shit look how much good music there is today
It doesn't fucking matter if no one fucking listens to it. Memerap has dominated and infected everything to the point where it doesn't matter, there might as well not even be good music.
is this the only good US BM record lads?
Am I total pleb if I can't get into any genre and just like certain artists?
All my favorite artists make wildly different kinds of music but I like them anyways because they all create very distinct tones/atmospheres with their music. I don't like any particular genre because of this, although I have a slight propensity towards folk and jazz.
Does this make me a pleb? How do I change this?
You're a pleb if you feel like you ""have"" to like a certain artist/genre to fit in.
I can no longer enjoy albums over 30 min so lets post great albums that last 30 min or less
Name my band /mu/
Can someone who is not technically trained be a good singer?
People who don't know shit about pitch, octaves, and so on. If they practice and throw their heart into it, can they be good?

Rec, Rate, etc.
I couldn't really get into The Pod, but The Mollusk was ok, how is Guava compared to both of those?
Big Star is a nice band too.
thast what I get for trygin to be a special enowflake
howss you like yoshiko saiss stuf
What is everyone's thoughts for those that have listened?
I really dig the heavieness. The song structures are so complex, more than anything they have done before, and it takes multiple listens to find the grooves.
I also love that raw production
A sweet website where you draw redacted versions of your favorite album covers so other autismos can guess what they are for points. It's fun!

THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
I'm new to post-punk and only listened to pic related. What are some of the genre's greatest albums?
BTFO classical music.

scaruffi looks at music from more of an artistic/expressionistic perspective, not from an emotional perspective.
the most experimental and unique sounding records that stray away from the norm will end up being highly rated by scaruffi, whilst if an artist follows a genre without adding something drastically abstract, but pouring emotional beauty into every song, scaruffi will pan it. The biggest example of this would be Radiohead, scaruffi claims they're the most overrated band of the last decade solely because they sound too similar to other artists in...

what bands are similar?
I've been searching for about a year now and I've not turned up much like them
Ought are similar, but a bit more slint-y, other than that I haven't found much..
Just shows how unique Women were.
