What does /mu/ think of Jethro Tull?
Everything up until the folk phase was top tier shit.
Thick as a Brick is probably one of my favourite albums. The vinyl cover is pretty much an entire newspaper. Pretty funny to read as well
if you dont know what im talking about
who /sesh/ here?
No you idiot, it's Darlene from Mr Robot.
>album has a short ambient filler track
Post favourite Drone albums
Why haven't you left New York for Montreal to start your own shitty indie electronic dream pop band?
Let's have a phone wallpaper thread
My favorite song is Pretty Sweet
>band is from California
>best track on the album is an instrumental interlude
name more based musician than beyoncé
protip: you can't
- sound engineer
- live performer
- visual artist
- music video director & editor
this is now a thing in italy, https://youtu.be/8krBjYo72vo. what do you think about it, /mu/?
/ziggy stardust/ general
>Album doesn't have an instrumental track
>song fades in
>the song title has nothing to do with the song
>the song still has a title drop
>song title is a number
>song title contains a character you cant use in a filename
>song is titled "untitled"
>song fades away then fades back in
>album title is a parody of some pop culture staple

is this shoegaze or not?
Hey does anyone remember old dj screw song from mixtape that used the melody of old nursery rhyme "this old man"? The song chorus went simply like "this dj..." I've been searching it for half a year now and still hasn't come up. This is the last bastion i'll keep asking until I find it
>tfw CHz is such a great album that is fun to go back to while PW still sounds like shit
Although flawed, PW has a very distinct sound that makes it interesting and unique. Floridada is pop song of the year and if you cut out a few songs then PW is actually a pretty solid EP.
CHZ has no redeeming values. It's a cheap uninspired MGMT clone. In the album AnCo gives up everything unique and interesting about themselves to sound like the standard indie schlock.
every time i masterbate right after i finish i picture anthony fantano is rating my orgasm is this wrong of me
What's the loudest instrument?
Which anime has the best soundtrack?
what do you think of their list?
it's obvious that Pitchfork are ambient specialists, and that they listened to every ambient album ever released (and even unreleased projects sleeping on people's HDDs), so the list is accurate
Have to go back to military service today..
post your songs which you would listen to while serving/ capture a soldiers feel
Fun Fact: Weird Al is the best artist alive, because all of his songs are good parodies of good songs.
Niechec - s/t (sweet ass post/jazz rock, AOTY)
HAELOS - Full Circle (trip hop)
Pedro Soler, Gaspar Claus - Al Viento (classical)
The Field - The Follower (techno)
Wrekmeister Harmonies - Night falls (stoner)
The Amazing - Ambulance (indie)
Motor City Drum Ensemble - Selectors (compilation)
Moodymann - DJ Kicks (mixtape)
Still a lot of stuff I need to catch up on
What are your favourite post-2000 funk and soul albums?
The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset
its 4:15 AM and i need to write 6 more pages in 45 minutes
please give me an album that'll get me pumped and going and productive without distracting me
ITT: Band or performers that you literally have no clue why their popular or well liked
My friend kept on insisting I checked out The Black Parade, every song on the album was so painfully average that it may as well been horible. It had its moments, but overall it's nothing special.
Weezer - El Scorcho
what on earth is so great about this?
The album artwork is pretty dope. The wave-forms pictured are recorded transmissions from the first human-detected pulsar (which is a neutron star that is highly magnetized and rotates rapidly). The bumps are consecutive pulses from the pulsar CP 1919.
