Why is this so bad?
I loved most of Beck's music but this is SHIT
>singer starts rapping
After Let Down, the album really lets up.
Let down sucks. It sounds like the equivalent of warming up stale food and eating it while adding some seasoning making it more tasty, but it's still insipid and stale otherwise.
Is he, dare i say it, our guy?
Where to start with Mongolian Throat Singing?
Is there an essentials list floating around somewhere?
A friend of mine just released an EP on what he calls "future funk"
I think it's just japanese sampled music with some punchy drums.
w-what do you think guys? is it a real genre or not?
Post 10/10 album arts.
is Sleep stoner or doom and what is stoner doom?
Is this the most shameful event in the Beach Boys history?
This is the greatest jam track ever to exist. This is the pinnacle of music.
Prove me wrong.
ITT: We post 10/10 albums
Do any of you faggots actually make your own music? I was thinking of investing on some equipment, but I'm on a budget (student), so I was looking for some advice. Firstly, I was looking to get an Akai MPC, and was wondering if I should invest in the MPC 1000 or if I should settle for a MPC 500? Also, I was wondering what are some decent affordable turntables? I'm new to all of this, and any help is appreciated.
What a fucking album. Thank you for your beautiful music, Nick. Nobody does it like you do. It will be the blackest day when you pass.
I haven't felt chills like the ones I feel during Girl in Amber in years.
What does /mu/ think of Digibro?
This shit sounds like Duran Duran, how did any of these guys also create Public Strain?
What is your favourite Bob Marley song?
Mine is Red Red Wine
What is your opinion of this album, /mu/?
It's pretty good. I really think it's cool of Bowie to make a Soul album despite being successful as a Glam Rock artist. A pretty ballsy move, but it worked out well and earned him a hit song in Fame. Also, his foray into this paved the way for Station To Station.
Listening to this for the first time, what can I expect?
It's pretty good.
I like how cohesive the album is, considering it's target audience was 14~18 y.o psuedo-emo kids, It's actually an enjoyable album.
If you look at it from outside of the scope of their target audience, It's a good album.
Listen to this instead.
WHACHYA GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU

EDM is NOT a dirty acronym
Its music for live entertainment for young people to enjoy in social settings often with drugs (illegal or alcohol) and people dancing and meeting the opposite sex.
Just like rock, metal, punk, pop, hip hop, funk, r&b.
Its no plebbier than anything on the general essentials.
Its like sub /mu/core, the cover is a textless black and white picture with stars on it
Can we have a memorable /mu/ moments thread?
What does /mu/ think of The Weeknd's new song "Starboy"?
Gay ass, nu-disco-esque Daft Punk production paired with one of the most overplayed singers of the last few years. I swear If I hear another weeknd falsetto again I'm gonna lose it. You can't hear a newly released hip-hop album without the guy being featured, it even makes me retroactively dislike House of Balloons.
What does /mu/ think of good music?
ITT: musicians with mental illness
>After 1 listen
>After 2 listens
>After 4-5 listens
why does /mu/ not now what pop music is?
Pop = Popular Is it that hard to understand?
Your shitty artists are not pop
