There are honestly people (plebs) on this board so delusional that they think musical aesthetic is subjective
The cold hard facts about Taylor Swift:
>Taylor Alison Swift's father, Scott Kingsley Swift, was a financial advisor, and her mother, Andrea Gardner (née Finlay) Swift, was a homemaker who worked previously as a mutual fund marketing executive.:1
Mommy and Daddy's money, father was a third generation stockbroker
> In 2003, Swift and her parents started working with New York-based music manager Dan Dymtrow. With his help, Swift modelled...

You need to do laundry, it's piling up in your room and it might be generating lifeforms
You also need to learn how to cook vegetarian stuff because you've been thinking about stopping with the meat
And you've been playing The Sims again
hard leather daddy
that's actually pretty accurate
I do need to catch up on my laundry and I did recently reinstall the sims but haven't played it much yet
don't plan on going vegetarian though
>hard leather daddy
>Got kicked out of a minecraft server hosted Plug.dj for playing chiptune
Why are people so hostile against new music???
Post 10/10 albums
why don't you guys like him anymore?
Who the fuck told Apple people wanted a single, long-ass list of all album tracks like this?
Albums with a lot of tracks now take forever to scroll down.
What do you *personally* think of it?
Big problem with it is that it's kind of whiny and suffers from the whole "woe is me I'm so alone" attitude, as if his childhood upbringing was the worst thing ever and now he's socially isolated forever. Also sometimes the wall metaphor just seems kind of corny DESU overall it comes across as a kid pitching a fit over nothing.
>tfw too old to get radiohead
Post an album and the perfect month to listen to it. Pic related is September
>tfw you live in a southwestern desert hell hole and don't get to experience the change of seasons
Do you guys think this is good or not. It's my favorite album in my opinion.
Is /mu/ excited for new Joyce Manor?
no i hate emo i hate taking back sunday and i hate myself
Is there a more perfect album to describe the feeling of losing a love that was so deep and then becoming out of touch with what you understood about living?
Everything hurts, guys. I found this album on here years ago. I had never experienced an emotional connection with anyone then. I remember fantasizing what it would be like to feel emotions like Phil felt at all. Now I know it hurts so much.
>tfw no one knows about your favorite band
Is Nirvana the Slint of the 90's?
this one is my favorite

her music career was actually a lot better than john's solo career and fairly ahead of the times
shame that she's the butt of a joke for retarded dadrockers
How do I become patrician?
With my music taste
I just got really pic related, mineral, American football and some other related stuff. What should I listen to next? I'm open to pretty much anything
What does the term 'IDM' stand for?
I mean, I actually really like the music, but what the fuck.
That's just John Maus. He's super intelligent. He's got a bunch of degrees and when addressed about his live performances he goes on and on about The Hysterical Body and its relation to pop music.
His interviews are weird. He rambles frantically and is generally hard to follow.
Is this their most accessable work?
I started with The Money Store and I gravitated towards Ive Seen Footage, Aye Aye, and Hacker. The other songs just (to me) had too much scream and unrelenting noise.
Exmilitary is a different story, and I like its vibe way more. Any other projects by them, or anything similar, that is similar to Exmilitary, but not too relentless inaccessible sounding?
The Money Store, Niggas on the Moon, and Government Plates are probably the most accessible albums.
You might also want to listen to the Death Grips LP
can you name me
What the fuck is his problem?
What did you guys think of this movie?
Really well made, not to mention unique as far as biopics of that type tend to go. It succeeded in getting me into Brian's music in a way that I wasn't before.
The Paul Dano segments are better than the John Cusack ones though, obviously
Really cool. The soundtracks dope to listen through all the way through.
Also, the casting and performance of the guy playing Van Dyke Parks was fucking great and had me grinning like an idiot whenever he was on screen.

A sequel to the "Bowie's Best & Worst" thread I had yesterday.
Since we mostly focused on Bowie's best (because let's face it he's amazing) , I figured it'd be interesting to focus more on what people's least favorite Bowie songs are.
No 'one per album' requirement this time, just list off some songs in Bowie's catalog you think are weaker/bad. Bonus points for explaining why they're in your worst list
>The Laughing Gnome (Non Album Single)
A shitty, annoying novelty song. Pretty much every Bowie fan calls it his worst
>It Ain't Easy (From Ziggy Stardust)
Didn't fit on the album at all. Wasn't a fan of the Melody
>All of the Pinups album
Cover albums are generally weak and this was no exception. Probably the least talked about album in Bowie's discography
>Without You and Ricochet (Let's Dance)
Annoying melodies and production. Most likely could have been cut without affecting the album that much
>All of Never Let Me Down (Except Time Will Crawl)
Cheesy 80s production and some weak Bowie vocal performance (Shining Star being the worst)
>All of Tin Machine
>Wishful Beginnings (1. Outside)
Ungodly annoying song with terrible production and goes on for way too long
>Something in the Air ('hours...')
Dated in all the worst ways. While his other dated songs are pleasantly dated this one just has a grating beat and some TERRIBLE lyrics.
Forgettable song. Feels more like Bowie doing a bad cover than it does an actual Bowie song.
And that's all I can think of for his BAD songs. Everything else he made is pretty fantastic.
Is this /mu/core?
