Anyone else prefer being ignorant to the specifics and details of music? For instance, I know nothing of music theory, production, or even a lot of the times able to identify what instrument i'm even listening to. Makes it more interesting to listen and mysterious to listen to. I'm the same way with movies (not wanting to know all that goes on behind the scenes and shit cause it kind of ruins it for me) Anyone else like this?
I think learning all of that made me develop my taste further and be able to appreciate more complex/esoteric music
Still, whatever helps you, honestly. We each approach music differently, and in the end it's about the experience you have interacting with music
Post a photo and others post music that describes it
new telepath album got released today
What does /mu/ think about Tidal?
What does /mu/ have to say about streaming services, and which ones in particular?
Spotify >> Tidal = Apple Music. SC is it's own thing, which p much exists as a complement to the other streaming services.
(UI, pricing, selection, community settings, playlists, AI recs, etc)
Streaming is the near-term future of music. If I weren't an artist who samples heavily, i'd use streaming solely.

I am specifically looking for really depressing, dismal and primitive sounding black metal, from mysterious and forgotten places, forsaken by humanity. I am looking for more black metal like Beketh Nexehmu, Mutiilation, Black Funeral, Dodsengel's Mirium Occultum, Silencer, Life Is Pain, Belketre.
They are the most internally tortured individuals in the black metal business and they practically live in solitude and have been through some serious shit
They translate it well through music so give them a listen
Also nice pic gibe source
