All memes are wrong, just listen to it
Forgotten albums from 2016
The two greatest artists of our generation are working on a collab album. Who else is thirsty?
Hi, I'm Wayne Coyne from the band The Flaming Lips. Ask me anything!
Has anyone noticed this. Their music has soul but lacks emotions.
In before some fag references riot grrrl thinking its emotional cause it has girl in the genre title top kek (pro tip: it's not)
The reason for this is women don't get depressed
There will never be a female nick drake
I noticed this too. It's really apparent when women try to cover songs by men that require tons of emotion and it comes out as generic singing. It's like they don't even understand the subtleties in inflection or pain of the artist.
I don't think it's because they don't feel emotions, it's just that they really suck at conveying them through the medium of music.
Best Concept Albums, no Pink Floyd.
What the fuck happened to country music?
Would listening to every track sampled on this album be a good introduction to jazz?

Listening to music high is a copout. Discuss.
What do you thing about this album?
Probably one of their best. Underrated and probably the heaviest atmosphere of any album to get as high on the billboard charts as it did.
The Last track is basically a Swans track and listening to it on repeat as a teenager probably made the leap to listening to them a lot easier.
S/T is better, but Iowa was probably a better live era: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80W10DsHCWM
I was thinking about listening to their early albums again to see if they really suck or they were good but I judged they wrong.
I used like this track
What is the most obscure thing you've listened to that was actually good?
Song from the ending of a VHS tape of an expansion to an obscure australian board game
More seriously, this album of interpretations of medieval music I found at the library which doesn't even have a discogs entry yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LbAZ6FTfAU
Recent purchase thread, show off your newest loot. Today, I got Merzxiu and the Hotline Miami OST 3xLP in the mail. It was a good day. How about you guys?

Is he the most revolutionary guitarrist of all time?
I never "saw" sound prior to getting into Loveless, so I'm kinda biased here.
Was he a pleb or a patrician?
So was the point of Odd Future. To tell the tale of a drug addled group to eventually dissipate. But every member goes and release massively successful and critically acclaimed albums? However, tyler will get all the credit. For leading the pact. It has been his plan along.
>every member goes and release massively successful and critically acclaimed albums
Only Frank Ocean has been massively successful and critically acclaimed.
Tyler was massively successful for a while and Earl has had success, but was never huge.
Everyone else is irrelevant.

Who's hyped for the new album and tour? Expectations for the album? Anyone seen Danny Brown live before? If so, how was it?
I saw him at a festival a couple years back, wasn't great desu. Not sure if it was the environment or if he was having soundcheck problems but he just opted to shout every single word the exact same way. Sounded like someone from /mu/ covering danny brown.
