I mean they made pretty straightforward surf rock and roll songs for most of their career besides the late 60s-early 70s so its not inaccurate. The experimental psych pop era was a small portion of the Beach Boys discography
just found out the Undertale OST is #5 in rym's top 2015.
What do you think of the soundtrack?
>club jumping like lebron now

Is Pitbull the greatest lyrical genius of the 21st century?
>That badonka donk is like a trunk full of bass on an old school Chevy
>Baby trade donka donk

Help a gal out?? I've started listening to electronic music because it helps me concentrate while studying but I have no clue how to find decent artists because 8tracks only gives me hipster bullshit. I literally only know Boards of canada and the XX, son any imput is welcome desu
"Electronic" can mean an anxious and overwhelming number of things. Is there anything you like that you can start with?
Otherwise like Boards of Canada or Strfkr, or like, Blockhead are like, three different branches you can work in from.
Use RYM. Download albums you find on RYM with Soulseek, a p2p program built by electronic music addicts. If you're looking for background electronic stuff, look into Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, The Orb, KLF, and Helios.

Or are you complaining about the song being critically acclaimed? It's a great piece of pop music with phil's trademark production. It's a milestone.
>drummer starts singing
>whole band starts drumming
IN THE VILLA OF ORMEN
How is it that Purity Ring is the only band that has tried to fuse pop and trap in the typical white person format? Their music is so good that I just don't get how they don't have numerous copycats
I mean desu there are probably tons of emulators all over bandcamp and soundcloud, it's just that pop/trap is a pretty niche sound and they have it down so well I'd imagine it's hard for other acts to get major traction.
Anybody given this a listen yet?
Actually not that bad ive always enjoyed them. Jimmy pop actually makes some interesting well thought out references plus i find their music to be damn catchy. However, they do have their fair share of shit too but ive been enjoying this new realease.
