i think mine might be one of the most positive changes. almost a complete overhaul
neat idea OP
good on you to get out of all that memetronica
Mine is just the exact same artists but rearranged ahaha. I'm glad M83 is lower 'cause he's just gotten increasingly worse after S=Y.
Fuck Buttons will probably jump to number 1 whenever their next albums comes out. I'm hoping for more than 7 tracks this time but we'll see.
Is there any electronic music that isn't boring or repetitive?
I think I found the the most cringey vid on the Internet. I felt like the kid with the green hair when I was trying to get into the punk scene.
lmfao We were all the kid with the green hair at some point. That failed mosh pit at the beginning made me kek, as well as brought back some memories of failing to start mosh pits.
Does /mu/ like math rock?
>esp. if it has vocals
Also 31knots and Minus the Bear
No album has ever come close to portraying the level of atmosphere that this album does.
This went above and beyond the level of atmosphere in any album.
I want to get into death grips
Where do I start?
Post iceberg tiers
HAVE YOU BEEN PIRATING MY MUSIC ANON?
Hey guys, what is your favorite Built to Spill song? Also, doesn't Doug Martsch seem like the kindest guy? I just wanna give that dude a hug
Nowhere Nothin' Fuckup lately but I like all of their albums to some degree so my answer changes a lot. Their first album and their latest two are mad underrated.
My question is how he started balding in his 20s and has retained so much hair to this day
ITT: Albums that nobody would believe are good that are actually good
>It's a George song
>it's a song where post '66 Beatles tries to sound like pre '66 Beatles
I don't get it. Can you redpill me on this album /mu/?
listen to more black metal, industrial and symphonic bm specifically
maybe listen to some new opn/orange milk records-type stuff
listen to yung lean
think of hhh as the kanye west of metal
then you should get it
This should clear things up:
what is the best song on this album?
I don't wanna waste my time
What a manlet!
Does anybody actually like this stuff? Pic related.
>I'f you're anything other than a white male, fuck off, don't listen to any of our music
How did he get away with this?
what went wrong?
Okay /mu/, no memes here. Is this legit good?
What does /mu/ think of Sugar Ray?
You think THAT'S bad?
Remember the time I went to church with Varg Vikernes?
Uploading it to mega now boys, give me 2 hours
Is /mu/ the most misogynistic board on 4chan?
What does /mu/ think of it?
I accidentally made no wave when I was 7, AMA
ITT: Absurdist music.
>The low E string is the kick drum. The A and D strings are snares. The G, B and high E are the cymbals. So you have a kick-snare relationship in the riff. Then when the chorus comes around, you wash all the high strings as you would wash a cymbal. It makes it percussive, and it gives that dynamic.
So I have not been keeping up with music for years. Picked up a few things here and there. Just been busy.
Don't really care what others think about my tastes, just looking for stuff that is similar to what I already like.
I would appreciate if /mu/ would recommend some artists in relation to my list below.
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I'm sorry but you might not want to check on this thread.. a lot of what you suggested are meme music, music that's constantly made fun of on here.. I just think you're going to get a lot of hate. Especially because its 4chan.
I mean, you do you.. but you might want to try reddit.com/r/music instead. they have lower standards.
ITT: We nominate albums for the /mu/core Class of 2016
What do you think of the album?
I think the first 4 tracks are exceptionally strong. It gets weaker as the album goes on with some exceptions.
Also has anyone else noticed the mixing is weird?
Favourite track: Way Back
How does the mixing sound weird to you?
I've only listened fully about once, but so far it's disappointing. It feels like a cash grab capitalizing on how big Travis got after Rodeo, which itself was pretty fresh to me. This album is essentially a compilation of half hearted singles. 6/10
mike dean fucked the mastering completely, distorts all over the place on almost every track, vocals are too fucking loud
however, the whole thing feels very airy and i like that... some killer melodies too, and great features
also, don't sleep on guidance... would be one of my favourites if not for the stupid amounts of clipping lmao
