Guys I listened to You're Living All Over Me for the first time a few days ago, so now I wanna talk about the influence it's had on shoegaze. I'd guess since YLAOM came out a year before You Made Me Realise came out, and because YMMR doesn't have the CT-influenced dreaminess that Loveless has, YLAOM is probably a pretty big reason for Shields to start adding a focus on guitar textures to their twee or post punk or whatever.
I imagine Kevin Shields listened to more than one album that year though, so there's probably other factors, but I don't...

I'm very much into dream pop but i just don't like the way heavy distorted guitars sound (ones used by Cocteau Twins and in MBV) . I've been given recs before but I wonder if someone would have more in mind.
