post your collage and guess deepest fears
fear of being stuck in an unhappy marriage with kids and a shitty job
Is there any albums that are bright and bound to make you smile? Maybe even make you a little tired? I feel like I need to ease off such bass-heavy music
I'm really surprised at the amount of people that don't know about this album.
Which country has the best national anthem?
East Germany, anything else isn't even close
out of those still existing UK or Norway
best lyrics: La Marseillaise (but it sounds stupid)
worst ever: The Star-Spangled Banner or that godawful Japanese one
Pixies general thread. Opinions/facts/ lyrical meanings and just bs about the band. Ive always liked them but ive been listening to them a lot more lately and find theyre music strange and interesting. Probs my favorite band at the moment.
Are tapes worth getting, /mu/?
Posts artists that have a very diverse discography but still have a consistent discography with several great albums. I'm trusting your judgement here in not posting King Crimson or something like that, the diverse is the important part.

I'm looking to buy some new earbuds but I'm not sure what to get. I usually get the skullcandy ones because they sound good, they're sound cancelling, and they stay in my ears. The only problem is that one side always stops fucking working within a month or so. I need something new but what are some that sound good, stay in your ear, cancel outside sound, and are $20 or under? And I don't like ear pods at all, they fucking suck. Thanks.
if you're spending $20 a month on new piece of shit skullcandies, why not save for a bit and buy a pair of $60+ ones that won't break and will sound much better objectively
I've been using the same pair of Sennheiser earbuds for like 2 years now and they still sound great and are still in perfect condition minus a little wear and dirt from using them at work. I still keep them nice and clean though
How much did andy warhol have to do with the velvet underground? His name is plastered everywhere on their first record.
you have thirty seconds starting RIGHT NOW to explain how this isn't a 10/10
post long songs
>Protip: You can't
What do you think of The What.CD Top 100 Albums of 2015?
Post alternative album art
Music to listen to while overdosing?
anyone else hearing a thump on the stream?
Frank Ocean/Boys Don't Cry General
Music to listen to while having a cigarette?
he should just stop at this point.
Manson fan here, he's a fucking drunk mess, he doesn't give a shit and he's only on tour/making albums for money. he also may be showing early signs of dementia, his late mother had it.
ITT Normie music that EVERYONE must listen to
(even if only to know what you're talking about when you're thrashing it)
ITT the better album
What's the best 80's song and why is it 99 Luftballoons by Nena?
Good fucking song, but this is the actual answer to your question
Post your last 5 rates on RYM
been listening to stuff that I feel like I should've listened to by now lately
also Doolittle a 2.5... :(
Heligoland is that band with the guy that was in Talk Talk right? Seems like you like it lol
a 2.5 is an ok rating it just didnt really strike me after a couple of listens. I mean there were some really memorable songs and lyrics (Debaser, Tame, God is Seven) but I was really let down by the second half of the album
idk I'm not much of a lyrics person so maybe if id paid more attention to the lyrics i would have enjoyed it more
I can't think of an uglier musician. What the fuck happened?
So...what do you guys actually do while listening to music? Do you actually just sit there and listen?
ITT: How can they be still alive?
