continuing the streak of 2-day /bleep/ threads
soma you up in this bitch or what
L.A. Rush OST - Various Artists
>nostalgia as FUCK
Be sure to praise basedgod Nonon Jakuzure.
Uploading some techno in the hope that you guys can help me identify a track.
Recondite - Nadsat EP
Does somebody recognize this track?
Innershades played it last weekend.
Old school rave sounds (don't mind the voices).
so aside from the obvious, whats been some good 2014 disco?
Tiger & Woods - Tool Kit For Winter Fitness are some amazing loopy summery jams
and Shit Robot has been flying the DFA torch with his immaculately produced new album
No problem lil' niggie. You can feel young again.
Before I go, I might just contribute to the thread.
Hope this is related to topic.
Stay based, everyone!
So now that industrial is dead, what is this year trendy flavour of techno?
>no ragga please
>contains 100% pure intelligent Dum & Bass - NO JUNGLE
I know. There's plenty of jungle in the comp I posted - it's just that in the 90's jungle was considered anything with a chopped-up amen and ragga vocals innit, whereas jungle without ragga vocals was called d&b back then (apparently).
OFFICIAL RADIO STATION TIERS:

I don't live in the UK so maybe a britbro can tell me, but are the BBC radios that play pretty good eletronic music on free terrestrial radio? because they're so significantly better than the shit I have on the radio, it's ridiculous.
What bleeps are we listening to right now /bleep/?
This is seeming like AOTD to me.
Trust me, I have mentioned that I listen to ungle and Drum & Basss to several people. About 1% of people know that Jungle is a genre.
Do not make the same mistakes I did, heed my words.
listened to pic related today. Liked it pretty good, might be top 5 in the year so far.
uh what? I guess sandwell was really important for some hipsters, but even the artists on the label are still pushin out music on other labels right now. Like I said, basement hipsters who were only there for the SD mystique may drift away but fuck em anyway.
>tfw baker and baumecker new material soon
I like the shit like Calibre, Klute, Bachelors of Science, Makoto, (old) London Elektricity and the sort of shit on Commercial Suicide, Horizons Music, Innerground etc.
The new stuff is pretty boring, had high hopes for Fred V & Grafix but everything they put out sounds the same. Hopefully Metrik doesn't fuck up his LP on Hospital when he puts it out.
SHXCXCHCXSH - STRGTHS
>one of the better techno LPs from last year, on Avian, slightly witch house-esque at times
got the HATE 12"s off a sharethread some time ago, only got around to listening to them now
lmao sandwell was never part of the industrial revival in any way beyond the superficial aesthetics
musically they were never even remotely related to industrial techno
Downwards is still around and isn't going anywhere any time soon and neither is industrial techno
yo guys i don't mean to get all /r/ here but can somebody help me identify the track that comes in around 18:05 with the reesey sounding bass?
Thanks. I've been meaning to watch this. I can't wait for the Balearic beat, Bristol bass, and Jungle episodes.
Industrial Techno is stuck in a locked groove, all the songs are beginning to sound the same.
Voiski is my favorite techno artist at the moment.
Also we need more dubstep, everyone went over to god damn house and techno.
I wish, but the fact is Dubstep died for a reason.
Dubstep's death reinvigorated house and techno; just look at what Hessle and Livity Sound have been putting out and tell me it's not worth it.
It's great but at the same time Ramadanman and Pev were two of my favourite dubstep producers and now nobody makes dubstep anymore. Even Appleblim does house. I just kind of wait around for the yearly Mystikz and Shackleton releases now.
erm no dubstep is still going
contact is as strong as ever
reconstrvct is getting massive in america
deep medi, innamind, system etc. all pushing out big tunes
get 2 kno
Holy shit we're still going.
This calls for some speedy Techno.
Also, anyone in here got any good nights lined up?
I'm seeing Dettmann tomorrow which should be lovely.
>Pretty sure I can re-sell it on Discogs later on
holy shit, that's me on every purchase. I tell myself "don't worry its an asset; good solid releases even go up in value! buying records is almost an investment!"
Never sold a thing on discogs either.
I listened to this earlier, it was pretty good stuff
in case anyone is interested, leaked a few hours ago:
>Factory Floor - How You Say EP 1
v0, includes banging daniel avery remix
I'm listening through replica for the first time after putting it off for way too long. I think I still like R+7 more but this is still really good.
I'm also waiting for my copy of Rifts to arrive in the mail.
I'm sure you aren't there anymore but is a good release from the best label in the business
The Norwegians know what's up. Sex Tags Mania kills it as well - possibly my favourite label at the moment. The sublabels are fantastic as well. Sex tags Amfibia has some really interesting releases, check them out http://www.discogs.com/label/54635-Sex-Tags-Amfibia
I went to a liquid dnb party once when I was about 16 and literally everyone was a miserable 40 year old meth head who just whinged all night about how jump up was better in the 90s.
Hey, no problem. Remembered it because it was one of the last tracks Sluwe Vos played somewhere last year in a set, his selection is always solid. This is the set, maybe you want to check it out; https://soundcloud.com/desluwevos/de-sluwe-vos-at-straf_werk-w
I know jackshit about edm but this was really awesome can anyone rec me anything like it?
If no one wants to spoonfeed me that's cool i'll be going on a dig for related stuff later.
Blacknecks: the formerly anonymous collaborative project of Truss & Bleaching Agent. Great distorted vinyl only techno. Still waiting on a rip of 005, the final record in the series. The quality on one of these, I think 003, is a bit dodgy, but it's the best I've found.
Okay, looks like nobody is going to get this, it was Endless September by Furfriend, who are obviously fans of 4chan
Next one, not even distorted
Clue: since it's unrelease this is probably more well known than released tunes
Clue 2: SWMS may not answer this
>Do ya like I want to
>Kiss ya like I want to
White Material discography
Great house label founded in 2012, really smooth, deep grooves all round. Rose in popularity a lot last year. Includes releases from one of my favourite producers at the moment, Galcher Lustwerk.
Young Male - All R [WM001] (2012)
DJ Richard - Leech2 [WM002] (2012)
Galcher Lustwerk - Tape 22 [WM003] (2013)
White Material - White Material [WM004] (2013)
DJ Richard - Nailed To The Floor [WM005] (2014)
the new album last week from Purl was enjoyable.
Here's some discogs to check out:
Because you'll obviously know it, and I want to see if anyone else will, plus it's a fairly big clue
Here's one I've seen spoken about a lot on here, so should be easy
Clue: you can't afford it
>Everybody thinks we're...
man you're killin it, i love these label discogs gettin thrown up. I had the odd release from these but not the whole things. Have you heard Galcher's new EP? I thought it was good, though not as good as his White Material release.
Yeah I thought the exact same thing. Not bad, but not as good as he can be. Slightly different style, which probably explains why it wasn't on WM. Gonna upload the Russian Torrent Versions discog. in about an hour or so.
Russian Torrent Versions discography.
Mysterious techno and house label with a strong Soviet Russia aesthetic. Sounds like a slightly darker version of L.I.E.S., sharing artists such as Florian Kupfer and Beau Wanzer.

Beau Wanzer/Svengalisghost - Untitled [CCCP 002] (2013)
Bookworms/Beato - Untitled [CCCP 003] (2013)
Vereker/Florian Kupfer - Untitled [CCCP 004] (2013)
Beau Wanzer/NJB - Untitled [CCCP 005] (2013)

Just gonna share a random assortment of stuff now.

Delroy Edwards - White Owl
>house, ghetto house
Vereker - Rosite [LIES019] (2013)
Vereker - Fear Eats The Soul [LIES020] (2013)
Any Huerco S. fans here? Been on a binge in recent months. So good
So I was watching adult swim and this bump with a scene of a lake and waterfall came up with some bumpin jams. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and/or can redirect me to what I'm thinking of?
Anyone know of any good deep/prog house mixes from the 90s?
Preferably mid-late 90s. Looking for old school Sasha/Digweed types stuff. Been listening to the Global Underground series and I really want to hear more prog house like this
yeah i like him alot. got his tape from Opal Tapes in my physical collection
Here's the OCS discogs

Afraid not man.
Oh sick, nice. Huh, already had Shifted - SBMOC and didn't even realise it was on OCS.
Here's the final share from me before I go and pack stuff to go home from uni for Easter.
Vereker - Slain [TTT015] (2013)
obv not Luke but for me I just keep updated on soundcloud/twitter/discogs for labels and then artists. If i like something a label puts out, i'll look at other releases ->find new artists, look at other labels that artist has released on -> etc, the pattern continues.
Ok, one last (small) label dump.
Overlee Assembly discography.
A new UK label focusing on straight up industrial techno bangers.
Sosak - Sketch [OA001] (2013)
Clouds - Radical Cutting Methods [OA002] (2013)
J. Tijn - ILGD [OA003] (2014)
I need more squeaky weirdness like this
Person from shitty thread enquiring about MCMXCI:
Here are two free (official) Opal Tapes compilations for more stuff in that vein. Most of the names in the compilations have their own releases on Opal Tapes and all have full releases elsewhere on similar labels. Good place to start!
fell in love with this now nothing comes close
it sounds like it's going to be a standard venetian snares album
a few really good tracks, the rest are lukewarm
out of the previews, only amazon and she runs seem like they're going to be standout tracks
