so why don't you use AT m50s, /bleep/?
i've got a pair of the ATH-M50x ones. exactly the same but you can change the cable if you like
the frequency response is just perfect for this kind of music. plenty of bass but not overpowering, clear mids and crisp highs as well
every thread gets fucked up with requests for this obsolete genre, then some autist posts about 1 million links. its all in the archive. hell the mediafire that contained all the dnb and jungle still works, even though its years old
>i just hate liquid in general
As long as you like based Calibre and even more based Klute, it's alright.
Early London Elektricity used to be properly banging as well:
I'm at home. I didn't know /bleep/ talked about dnb here, I thought it was all minimalist (which is cool but not my cup of tea).
Can I get recs on artists a bit similar to dbridge's brand of liquid (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g3HBnuEW1Y is a good song). He's pretty damn good if you haven't heard him btw, used to be in Bad Company
And yeah fucl netsky, he's disgusting. I was so pumped for 2 but every song I heard from it was worse and worse. I think the problem with Hospital is tony colman. London Elektricity is just so cheesy and irritating and he looks like a melon.
N I N J A
jungle will never be obsolete. Jungle is timeless.
Someone find That Burial interview about how this stuff will always be the music of the future.
>if you haven't heard him btw, used to be in Bad Company
>implying I don't have Inside the Machine as one of my top 10, possibly top 5 D&B LPs ever
I really rate Bad Company, those guys were legit production wizards. Can't believe how bad DJ Fresh has become now compared to putting out shit like The Nine/Nitrous.
As for more Liquid Funk like D-Bridge, I can't find exact things but you'll like these if you haven't already them (mostly pretty big producers):
Everyone's a little faster than that track but overall feel is roughly similar.
I really wish Colman wasn't killing Hospital but unfortunately it's more succesful now than ever before, they've probably made more money since 2010 until now than 1996-2010, Hospitality is so damn huge now. I'll always like London Elektricity's first three LPs though.
I made this and I have no regrets.
Big up based Ninja, I sees ya.
Damn thanks anon. Heard of a few (Actually I think Be True was probably what got me into liquid in the first place) but haven't looked into depth into others.
And yeah, Fresh is practically electropop at this point. Dbridge is the only one who's still producing tunes to the calibre of Bad Company. Inside the Machine is goat.
I'm droning on the empty #/bleep/ IRC chan. Then this evening I'll play E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy in LAN Co-op with some friends while playing all the techno I downloaded this week.
I am conflicted because I want to make this my last.fm DP but then people will not know about muh Captain Harlock if I do.
I showed that to the one guy I still regularly speak to who I also know IRL and he particularly liked
>>g-guys i also like metal and grime, h-hello?

>Dbridge is the only one who's still producing tunes to the calibre of Bad Company
I haven't properly checked it out but Bad Taste has some decent stuff on it, Vegas/Maldini (I forget which of them left) might have put some good shit on it.
Probably going to Ternesc tonight because I'm in need of a dark and dirty techno night. I've been on holiday in a land with no techno or working every weekend since May so I'm pretty hyped.
Best get locked in tomorrow yeah?
Also that last choon is maaaaaaaasive.
It's probably going to be the same 4 eps that were on iplayer. All we can hope for is some decent ratings and for someone at BBC to not be a total bellened and greenlight it for a full season.
To be honest the chances of that happening are a bit lower than Kurupt.fm becoming an actual radio station.
>mfw Dillinja, Goldie, Ben Klock, Jeff Mills, Maya Jane Cole, Seth Troxler and Angerfist are playing at Tomorrowland today
>mfw their sets won't be streamed because they will stream shit like Afrojack and Netsky instead
this guy is still in the game?
i figured he'd be at job centre by now
remember this? lol
>say this shit
>release Fast Car in the same year
fuck that hypocrite
>[insert genre of music] is shit now, it was way better back in the old days
I always find this mentality annoying. Dillinja gets a free ride for all that old school shit he put out before decided "how can I make the Valve Soundsystem the most obnoxious thing in the world? I'll play Jump Up type shit on it, that will work."
He used to be huge though:
Can /bleep/ recommend me some piano driven stuff?
Like https://soundcloud.com/djscotto/scotto-presents-808-state-nasa specifically from around 10:00-15:00, that's my favorite part.
I like old school Moby, too.
well im carting off to boomtown in a couple weeks then off to outlook so i've got plenty of that to look forward to tbh. the music's good, AND i can have the best time of my life with my friends. eazay
