Just more of the same, but that's a real good thing.
Listened to most of those, but I'll check out the few I haven't. Thanks.
>Just more of the same, but that's a real good thing.

My favorite part of DCH is the last moments of 24, I really like the sound on that, though the whole album is pretty interesting.

Yeah I just made it. Thanks. I've heard of all those guys (or listened to them as sidemen at some point), but never their stuff as leaders.
Not h_h, but Tommy Wright III is awesome, one of the central Memphis rap producers and will open a lot of doors for you if you listen to him.
their leader stuff is all pretty awesome to me. and die like a dog, if you haven't heard it yet, has brotzmann being awesome without it being an brotzmann showcase

Changed some things about my previous post; added some more albums to give more variety in sound.
Nice to see Tommy Wright finally getting some recognition.
Check out 1st Degree & Deep Sleep, and also Player 1 & Bloody Bones if you haven't already. And I'm guessing you've heard pic related. I really need to cop that big moe album, I've been putting that off for a while.
You should check out pic related too ya bish. And also, where's Mingus, Blowout Comb and Braxton? You also need some Jay-Z, and Mos Def would be nice.
I'll check out Hot Rats, thanks. I gotta be honest, I wasn't impressed by in the wake of poseidon. Maybe it's just the style of music, but it didn't hit me like in the court did.
I didn't like it much at first either, i've yet to hear anything by them quite like the Court. But, on the second listen I was really taken by the track "Pictures of a City", it's sort of like that album's Schizoid Man
Traditional Australian music recs pls.
Yellow Magic Orchestra - Solid State Survivor
Haruomi Hosono - Cochin Moon
Ryuichi Sakamoto - Thousand Knives of Ryuichi Sakamoto
Aw yeah some goodies in there. This is one I made a while back, but it's still a goo representation of what I like.
From personal accounts he's an ass to everyone around him, he doesn't show regard for his fans, and he pulls these bizarre copyright stunts, not allowing his album art on websites.
