I'm going to be posting lots of things, feel free to join in whenever. Feedback is appreciated.
Contrabox - Bear Town (2014)
>lo-fi pop and folk tunes with a lot of influence from IDM, the first half of the record is a dreamy electro-pop record and the second half becomes seemingly dark and the songs become less poppy and begin heavier incorporation of guitar and intricate beats. If you like albums with a homemade feel but still complete and whole this is for you.
Lync - These Are Not Fall Colors (1994)
>post-hardcore, emo, for fans of early Unwound, early Modest Mouse. The vocal melodies are incredible on this record
Poverty Hollow - Poverty Hollow (2013)
>punk, post-hardcore, indie rock
I'm sharing lots of bandcamps, none of this is promoting my own music, which is what those threads are for.
Quarterbacks - Sportscenter (2014)
>lo-fi, punk, twee, 9 minutes
Priima - Staircase Anthem
>hypnagogic pop that draws a lot from genres not usually associated with pop music like breakcore and short ambient soundscapes, and lots of infectious pop songs in the vein of artists like ariel pink or grimes, one of the best DIY albums of 2014
copied this one from a different share thread.
I'm not the idiot, I'm sharing music instead of whining because I'm being pointed towards free music.
?????? - Demo
>Atmospheric black metal, their name's apparently supposed to be something like 'nic', meaning nothing or something to that effect, don't let it fool you because it's really great
Lowercase - Kill The Lights
>somewhere in between slowcore, noise rock and post-punk
????? (Sotaisei Riron) - Town Age
>japanese pop-rock, kind of like advantage Lucy in some ways
TELE/VISIONS - No One Will Dance
But why would I be concerned if someone thinks I'm viral marketing music that isn't mine? It's the easiest way to share it.
Swirlies - Blonder Tongue Audio Baton
Sleepytime Trio - Memory Minus
>severely overlooked 90s post-hardcore/emo, very rhythmically intense and super cute cover art
Rodan - Rusty
>Post-Hardcore, Noise Rock, 90s
Because people won't listen to the stuff you're sharing.
I don't want to be a dick anon, but it's the best way.
Plus, if the band decides to stop giving their stuff for free, you gave people a reliable dll.
Okay, anon. Next time I'll upload these to mega but I already started this one so it would take too long to upload a lot of this.
Number Girl - School Girl Distortional Addict
Default Genders - Magical Pessimism 2014
>"future twee", pop, drum and bass, shoegaze
Donald Byrd - Places and Spaces @ V0
>1970s, jazz, funk
Drop Nineteens - Delaware
>shoegaze/dream pop, one of my favorite albums in the genre
Fire! Orchestra - Enter
>psychedelic free jazz, big band, experimental, noise, noise rock, post rock
Friendless Bummer - Militia EP
>punk, lofi, pop
Midlake- Milkmaid Grand Army (EP) (2001)
>lo-fi radioheady-y folk rock
This EP is better than most of their discography imo
? Foliage ? - Singles (EP)
>pop dream pop indie jangle pop shoegaze surf pop surfgaze San Bernardino
Essential-core. If you don't have this, you better get it now.
>This isn't even a bc and it's being shit up
>Come the fuck on guys, seriously
That's not really a justification.
I've seen you get called out before when a thread has literally zero traffic and somebody "compliments" your bandcamp link a minute after you posted it.
Wouldn't surprise me if you're posting on a computer and smartphone, seizing any opportunity to reply.
Also, if you weren't samefagging, why so mad?
>being geographically retarded
>Christ, you really are an idiot aren't you?
Do you like electro?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya_ow4TBOu4&list=UU6UvRQ4cfrnsNxO8KlkmszQ

Martin Rev - See Me Ridin

The Spoils of War - The Spoils of War

The Soft Boys - Underwater Moonlight
>neo psych from 1980, one of the first groups to do so, a favorite of mine
The Swine Lakes - s/t (2014)

These are both pretty good anon, but I like the second more than the first. Thanks for sharing!
Does the hook on the sample of the first one remind you of Bowie's China Girl? It does for me, made me chuckle a bit.
kek, I think this is the funniest genre designation I've heard since crabcore
This guy writes some really meaty piano stuff.
Since this sharethread has been pretty mediocre, does anyone have an album or artist that has some deep tones and overall just a low sound? Something like earth but a bit faster and not drawn out? Maybe a heavy emphasis on bass or something? I'm not great at describing music so that doesn't healp either.
Floating Points is pretty bass-y and just generally pretty awesome:
Electronic is the primary genre tag tho, so if you're looking for something different be forewarned.
Plz give feedback
Dug from a shallow grave in the archive

Copied from the archive
Electric Moon - Mind explosion

I'll post another one I like
Again, copied from the archive:
mort garson - Plantasia
>electronic, experimental, ambient, plant-core
Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, but I probably don't have something worth sharing that hasn't been posted before, so I just share albums I enjoy with other people who may have not heard of them before. Is that so bad?

You guys remember Dälek?
Well, the rapper, Will Brooks AKA MC Dälek, has a side project with one album and three EP's
Much less abrasive but still experimental and easy yet good beats. Much more focus on the rapping and simple production.
I'd highly suggest you check it out because very little people seem to know of this side project even when they are fans of Dälek.
I use Spotify (I know, top plen) currently so I couldn't give you a download link, planning on using something else later, but atleast you now know of it
Here's a taste for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMq1mcvLaHk
the only russian you need to know is ??????????? means discography
if you don't how to rutracker, here's a nifty little guide.
Do you get some sort of prize or reward for having originally shared them? You're on an anonymous image message board. We're not giving out fucking gold stars here. Good God man, get a grip.
That is extremely rude, I'm beginning to think that you are only saying that because you are angry at someone and you're channeling your anger into anonymous users of a music board who only want to share their favorite albums. If you're not going to stop, I'm going to have to ask you to leave
I never actually called you a cockmunching faglord, you assumption-making self-entitled prick
it would be in your best interest to remember the fact that not a single person gives a shit what you think
seriously though, just get a rutracker acc, and follow the image here:
hard to not find something there and it's usually in FLAC
also, almost all uploads are directly from what.cd so you shouldn't worry too much about quality control.
the only problem is single-file albums, which can easily be split
oh yeah, well you're mediocre
The Traditional Fools
>Lo-fi Sun-soaked garage punk rock
Here you go
Deptford Goth - Life After Defo
>really good stuff
depends on if you're searching the archive or looking for new music. if you're searching the archive for stuff you are looking to find, then reposting doesn't do any good. If you really want to expose people to new music, go ahead, that's fine too, but as far as "I shared these so I can beg" goes, no, you didn't really share them, you just copypasta'd them and are begging. IE you didn't contribute anything
You're talking to someone else, I was the one who shared the albums and then asked for Drinking Songs. I am not a beggar, I am a user who shares music for those who do not know it and just happened to bump the thread with an album I have not been able to find. If you have a problem with that, I could not care less
